Saw Foghat several times throughout the seventies. They had one of the best album covers. It was for the album known as Rock & Roll and the cover simply had the images of a rock and a dinner roll.

Foghat was billed as The Kneetremblers, because Lonesome Dave Peverett was not with them for some reason. But is was all Foghat all the time during the show. I think they even got an encore. "Slow Ride", "Fool For The City", "I Just Want To Make Love To You", etc.. A great opener for Aerosmith.
Their live version of “I Just Want To Make Love To You” is awesome. Their songs “Home In My Hand”, “Honey Hush”, “My Babe”, and “Third Time Lucky” are all great songs.

My very first concert was at the Savannah civic center and It started with Mothers Finest then Foghat and ZZ Top was the headliner. Great show all three bands were on fire. Try Baby Love by Mothers Finest,Live At Rockpalast 1978 if you want some funk in your life.
