So can somebody answer this for me? Are these bulbs just for the turn signal function or are they also on all the time like DRL’s? If it’s just turn, I don’t see the point but if it’s illuminated during the day and/or night as well then I see the benefit

Hi, this type of turn signal bulb can also serve as a DRL. The bulb has two brightness levels; the lower brightness functions as the DRL, and when you activate the turn signal, it will illuminate a higher brightness for the turn signal function.
We also offer a switchback version of the turn signal bulb. when you activate the turn signal, the LED bulb will light up in bright amber as a blinking signal. When you activate the DRL, the LED bulb will light up in white.
