Such pretty cards! thanks for sharing.x
You are so welcome!
Hi Natalie, I love your 'smooshing' technique, it looks more 'controllable' than the usual method of putting paper to puddled ink. Your cards are always so pretty and delicate. As ever, TFS 👍💖
You are so welcome!
So many ideas. Incredible. Thank you. Shirley in Virginia.
You are so welcome!
Brilliant ideas, that's very helpful thank you ❤
You are so welcome!
Love the cards
Thanks!
I LOVE pealized paper! I have it in several colors including a pastel pink which is just lovely. Thanks for the ideas.
My pleasure. x
Great ideas. I have a similar die and now have new ideas. Thank you.
That's fab! Thanks for watching. x
Thank you!!!! Xxx I’m inspired to look at my dies with new eyes
Great! x
Thank you for all your wonderful ideas. I will definitely be looking at my dies a little differently now! Excited to try it!
Thanks, Janie! x
Great ideas! This die might be meant as a gatefold die. For that you cut a cardbasis that is not just double but has 3 the same squares. The base is scored in 3 equal parts and you die cut the outer panels and tie them with some ribbon or twine. You can leave the gate panels as they are or place card behind them to hide your written message.
Many thanks! x
Fantastic ideas! How exciting! I have this die and am delighted to try these ideas. Thank you!
Thanks, Susan! x
You could make a gatefold card for a wedding invite or something like that. Lovely ideas. Thanks. First time here for me!
Thanks, Lyn! Welcome to the channel. x
Stunning cards and ideas, Natalie! Tfs xxx
My pleasure. Thanks for watching! ❤️🙏
Wow, loads of inspiration tfs Natalie
Thanks so much 😊
Such lovely cards! TFS! I’ve got dies I don’t use, and need to get out! You’ve inspired me to give them another try!
Brilliant! Thanks for watching. x
You could make a handbag card using the semi circle as the flap or possibly use as an envelope flap
Great idea!
I have this die and it rarely gets used.
Thanks for showing me new ways to use it!
You're so welcome. Glad it was helpful! x
love all your ideas....I make card sets for gifts for family & this would be a great idea for making a set with a common theme
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing. x
Those are brilliant ideas! Thanks 👍
Glad you like them!
Thanks Natalie, great ideas and that set my brain on fire - you could use the die on each side of a gatefold card and if you were very brave, could turn the die around and match the edge so you cut a circle. Love your smoosher, I can see it give more control than dipping the card into the ink. I'm off to make me one. ;-D
Thanks so much, Vivienne! Glad you found the video helpful. Enjoy your smoosher. x
Love this card and all the different suggestions. I am completely enjoying your videos and learning so much. Thank you.
Thank you so much!
Great video and lovely results!
What a great card Natalie.
Thanks, Joanne! x
Thanks so much! x
Another brilliant selection of ideas. I have a couple of dies similar to this that I've had no idea what to do with!
I love the smooshing for the background. Really need to get some mess cleared off my desk to have a play at this. Need more decent ink pads too.
Thanks, Tracey! I hope you manage to get some craft time in! x
Absolutely stunning ideas. I think my favorite ideas were using it as a stencil and cutting out the inside of the dies with hearts or circles. That's definitely thinking outside the box. I'll have a play with my die and show you what I create . Thank you so much Natalie for the inspiration. You helped me alot in giving new life to an old die. !!!
Thanks, Suzanne! So glad you found it helpful. x
@NBcascards I found I had a second die just like the butterfly only it's snowflakes. I'll post pics soon. I have gone thru all my dies , laid them out, looking at with fresh eyes!! Again thanks.
Brilliant! x
Thank you..I have something similar to try
Great! Thanks for watching, Paula! x
Oh my. This video is chock full of lovely creative ideas! The one I'm eager to try first is to adhere a background die cut to card stock then cut shapes (hearts no doubt) out of it. I never thought of that. I'd cut shapes from the single-layer frilly piece, but then the edges would be ragged. Thanks muchly, Natalie! 😊
Thanks, Marguerite! Glad you found a useful idea! :)
WoW! All these great ideas would pretty much apply to any shape die we have. Thank you, Natalie.
Thanks, Jan! It’s great to be able to get so much use out of our dies. :)
