I love doing this with cards. I also make paper punch earrings. I like using these punches on card fronts too and backed with glitter card stock. I’m going to use some more layered looks like you did. Thanks!!
Sounds great! Thanks for watching. x
You are a breathe of fresh air.
I absolutely LOVE❤ your style.
I have been enjoying replicating your cards for friends and charities in need. They are absolutely stunning.
I am starting to re-use my gilding flakes, dies and inks so much more now.
Thank You for inspiring me. I am so glad I found your site.
Happy crafting.

You're very welcome, Linda! x
Oh my my. I just cut a few aperture fronts yesterday - but I also have some weird card fronts that this idea will suit perfectly. Thank you
Thanks, Julie! Glad you found the video helpful. x
What a fantastic idea, love it. Jenny 😊
Thanks so much, Jenny! 😊
When you moved the circle card I instantly saw the big circle and if the two others would have been the same size it resembles Mickey/Minnie Mouse. Now i know that Mickey is a copyright image, but I believe if someone was just making a card for their child or grandchild as a one off, I think you are allowed as long as you aren't selling it. Me, other than the cutting the circles, I wouldn't know where to go from there so just an idea.
When I have gotten new nesting dies, I have run them through my Gemini still connected and got everyone of the dies to put away in my precuts containers so that when I need one, I have them.
That's a great idea with the nesting dies. I'll do that the next time I invest in some. x
Thank you Natalie for this tutorial. This is an excellent way to stretch your dies, and since I’m currently on a “craft buying diet”, this is a marvelous way to start. I absolutely love your creative videos. I find myself looking forward to the next one. Have a splendid rest of your day.
Thnks so much, Sharron! Glad you found it helpful. x
I'm really enjoying your videos. Its refreshing to see new ideas with stash most of us crafters already have and not feel we have to buy something new to achieve the same results.
Thank you for your time and effort.
Thank you so much, Suzy! I’m glad the videos are resonating with you. x
That's genius using the set square to get your sentiment straight. That will be a game changer for me. Thank you xx
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful. x

Excellent video, so full of ideas, thank you so much Natalie 💖
You're so welcome! Thanks for watching! x
Great idea to use multiple singles in lieu of aperture dies. I’m a fan of right angles and balance if not symmetry, and it’s a bit challenging for me to get the look I want (say, three or four equally sized squares all in line vertically or horizontally and distributed evenly). I wish I could make all the lines needed to ensure everything is even on the back of a panel, but there’s no lining up dies with marks I can’t see! Thank you for this reminder and all the options!
Thanks, Marguerite! Could you place a bit of tape, sticky side up on your work surface and then line up the dies on it - cutting side up - so you can get them where you want them, and then flip the tape over onto your panel. Hope that makes sense! x
@@nbcascards Perfect sense! Going to go try it right now! Thank you so much. 💕
Oh. Wait. My dilemma is that I want them to all be the same size, which means one die has to cut all apertures, so multiple runs through the machine….
Great video today. Love this approach. Thanks ❤
Thanks, Julia> Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent! So many great ideas! Thank you
You are so welcome! Glad you like them. x
WOW Natasha. How clever are you. I really love your videos and the different ways you come up with to use what you have. I’m on a no buy year so am really appreciating these videos. Thank you so very much. I’m currently laid up following foot surgery. So getting together lots of ideas for when I can return to my craft room. 💕
Thanks, Maxine! So glad you're finding the ideas helpful. Wishing you a speedy recovery and lots of fun craft time! x
So many great ideas.Thank you so much!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching. x
Some friends and I are getting together this week to share tips and tricks we’ve found useful. Already we were going to spend time on using aperture’s or negative space from dies. And now your tutorial has given me so many more ideas. Thank you!!
Thanks so much! I hope you and your friends have a wonderful time crafting together. It sounds lovely! x
Gorgeous card!!! What brand is your stamp positioning?
Thanks so much! it’s this one amzn.eu/d/czaI4Ww
@@nbcascards thanks
Hi Natalie.. this video on aperture cards came up in my feed today, and I'm glad it did, because I love what you did!! But can I ask, that first corner aperture die.. where can I get one as I really love it!! Sorry to be a pain.. but I've searched Google but can't find similar x
Thanks! The die is an old one from The Works. It’s not available any more but you might be able to find one second hand on somewhere like eBay. www.theworks.co.uk/p/art-and-craft-sale/2-large-lace-style-metal-cutting-dies/5052089249752.html
Thanks for getting back to me.. what a shame they no longer sell it!! I've found something a bit similar by sizzix with 4 different corners.. I may just have to go with that x
I think I have those as well. x
great ideas!
i agree with @canadianqueenmagenta in that we are inspired to use what we have and not feel obligated to run out and buy 'exactly the same' product..
truly inspired! thanks for the video...
Thanks, Sheryl! I’m all for using what we have rather than buying new all the time. Thanks for watching. x
