I don’t know about the bird, but I was tapping my feet to your music.🤗

Saw your photos on eBird. We went to Cessnock to try swift parrots but didn't see any. We did see regent honeyeaters though! Great photos as usual.

Thank you. The regent would have been a great find! I will be featuring them in my next video.

It was great to see the treecreepers casually defying gravity along the tree trunks. ^_^ Nuthatches do that in the U.S., and it's a fun show I could watch for hours.
Beautiful footage of the swift parrots, too. Some of the mid-action shots you took are sheer comedy.
And it's always interesting to learn which birds tuck their feet over their wings to scratch their faces, versus bring their feet up by their bellies for same. This video added another in the over-wing category for me.

Thanks for the info. I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I will be in the States later this year, will do some birding while there maybe I will see a nuthatch.

I absolutely love birds and watching them. How did you obtain such good knowledge of bird species? Would love to do what you do.😊

Thank you I hope you find my videos informative and entertaining. Get yourself a good bird guide, book for starters, then start identifying birds around your home. Then learn some basic facts about them. Slowly look for birds further from home, and expand your knowledge. It is a really fun hobby and you get to learn a lot of natural history along the way

Thank you. I think that they may be around most of the winter, then head back to Tassie as the temp warms up.
