Please keep using the acceleration meter and other tools to test. I’m a closet nerd and love stats. As always awesome vids.

I had my Tundra for 14 years and only used the back window a handful of times. It is a cool flex, but with all the camera views now there is not much need for it. And you are right Toyota's MPG has not changed in over 20 years. Great video!

I love the new Tundra. I get 21-22mpg on the truck in normal. It has a ton of power and is great when it comes to towing. The infotainment is perfect. It's nice that it doesn't have too many built-in controls in the infotainment system like some manufacturers have done, when the system fails, so do the controls. The panoramic roof propped up and rear window roll-down is perfect for enjoying the fresh air, even at freeway speeds. very happy with my purchase.

Yes you can change the Toyota for custom screens.. about 100+ different screen combos

Something must be going on with RUclips not getting you the subscribers that you should have based on the views you get. Very interesting.

My tundra iForce Max got such terrible mileage, I didn’t see the point in keeping it over a 2500 gas, especially with such a tiny bed and terrible payload. I was averaging 14 city, 18 highway with a very light foot. Even had the dealer inspect it for brake drag or a bad battery cell. Good riddance.

Funny... I have a hybrid platinum and I'm getting 21-22mpg and I drive over a 6k foot pass to and from the city.

That pass is all highway though right? And down hill is always a million mpg. Still good highway #'s

@@triedproven9908 Highway and freeway travel, about half and half for both. 1700 elevation drop, but both directions have climb and drops to it.

Both nice but Ram is more my style out of these two. My brother in law says he only rolled down the rear window in his tundra once in 9 years. It runs good but it’s a rust bucket underneath. 0-60 is interesting but I can live without it. I’d rather know how soft the seats are 😂

You know the exhaust note sounds on the tundra are enhanced by the speakers right ?

I'm not gonna lie, these hybrid systems on these truck are a joke, respectively. I get about 14 mpg mixed out of mine and my wife's '04 non-mds "hemi" durango. In all honestly, maybe 3 mpg gain over almost 20 years is not worth $80k, regardless of the luxurious interior(s). Good review on your part, man, I just couldn't justify owning either, respectively. :)

The Tundra's hybrid system is designed to add torque, not help with mpg. Tundradud34 did a couple of videos on it (while he had a tundra with the iforce max). Those white seats are a big 'no', though, lol

I'll take the Ram all day long vs the Tundra! Ram is way better looking and doesn't have such a hideous front end like the Toyota and has much better color and wheel choices. The Ram also has Air Suspension which results in a much better ride and self levels for trailer towing, I have used many times in towing my RV. Tundra can't match that. The infotainment system is also much better and more intuitive than the one on the Tundra. Finally, the interior of the Ram is far superior in luxury and materials and the back seats recline - my Limited has real leather, chrome, and wood and the Toyota is using far more plastics and back seats don't recline

My 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD with the Duramax gets better gas mileage than that Tundra. I traded a 2020 Sierra 1500 with the 3.0L Duramax in for the new HD and the 3.0L Duramax destroys the Tundra on fuel economy plus it makes all of it's torque at much lower RPM's.

It comes down to build quality. If you're going to keep the truck 5+ years buy the Toyota. The Ram is nice, but the long-term quality is not on par with Toyota. That Ram air suspension is nice when new but, in a few years, it will be an expensive headache to repair.
