This is a story about burden. All Might saw a broken world and decided to become the symbol of peace. Becoming the symbol of peace almost literally meant carrying the weight of the entire world on his own shoulders. Toshinori constantly wondered whether the path he was on actually meant anything. His character arc doesn’t end with death. It ends with seeing that his path actually meant something; that he genuinely inspired a new generation of heroes who are willing to all SHARE a burden together. He gets to witness the fruits of his labor.
Stain was inspired by All Might because of his selfless nature as a hero. Stain recognized the fragility of a society built around heroes who are not willing to lay it all on the line when push comes to shove. Look at how many heroes quit after the first war. However, being this self-sacrificial, crazed type of hero was frowned upon by society. You need a license, you need permission to save people. Night Eye thought All Might was nuts for his selflessness. Bakugo thought Deku was a lunatic for this selflessness. And now, Bakugo is one of these types of heroes too. Deku and Bakugo are the heroes they are because of All Might. They directly influenced other heroes of their generation like Shoto, Uraraka, and Iida, who are all lying down passed out elsewhere after putting their very beings on the line to defeat villains the pros could not.
The point is… All Might was right about what society needed. Selfless heroes ready to throw it all on the line. Because it WORKS. Because it’s UNBREAKABLE. It required him to begin the movement. Now the world is watching his pupils carry on this legacy. The future generations will adjust to this All Might-like mindset. All Might wasn’t supposed to die here; that would imply that he took the wrong path. His arc ends with witnessing that what he did was right all along.

This doesn't even make sense... you're saying that being self-sacrificial is the right path but All Might sacrifing himself isn't right for his character arc? 😂 your entire point is invalid cuz even if All Might dies he will still see everything you mentioned because his essence would live on inside of Deku just like every single other user of one for all who guess what, SACRIFICED themselves for the greater cause and now get to see that their sacrifices were worth it by helping Deku.
All Might not dying just robs him of his post losing his powers arc where he struggles with being useful without a quirk. Having him use his friendship that he built in America through his heroing grant him a suit that stopped All For One to a hault but still needing a huge sacrifice to end it all off so that he can say that he gave it his all till his last dying breath is the way to go.

@@adoniscreed4031 Eh, I don’t think it renders my point invalid. I see what you’re saying, but the point is that if the entirety of society was willing to sacrifice themselves, no one would have to. Because everyone would be in it together. Hence the way they are now. If Bakugo didn’t adopt this mindset, willing to break his body in order to win, All Might dies. If Shoto didn’t adopt this mindset, everyone in Dabi’s vicinity dies. If Uraraka didn’t adopt this mindset, everyone around Toga dies. If Deku didn’t adopt this mindset, the entirey of Japan dies. I get how ironic it sounds, but it’s the self-sacrificial nature that creates a culture where one ends up being saved. Uraraka put it perfectly when she saw how much Deku self-sacrifices: “Who saves the heroes?”. A self-sacrificial hero society breeds a culture where everyone is willing to save everyone.
I think having to end a character’s arc with death in order for it to be impactful is honestly a matter of opinion. It seems the anime community as a whole leans towards death being the right of passage towards solidifying a character’s greatness. I personally believe there are many other ways to tell a good story

The funny thing is that this is addressed in the next chapter.
But also, unlike some other mangas, this death was foretold years ago (both real time and in-universe), and the entire expectation was how this vision could be changed. However, for the past multiple chapters, it was showing us that All Might was trying to go out on his own merits only for AfO to come out on top in the end.
Also, as true as the heteramorph plot line wasn't fleshed out more, it was brought up multiple times within the series, only that we got hints of it from Spinners perspective and that was only prominent in MVA arc. Also, as it showed during that arc, most of those people were either instigators (MLA) or those who joined because they were trying to fight dor a cause. Shoji was the outlier who went through what Spinner did, but worse, yet when he got that one spark of happiness from saving a kid, he wanted to be the beacon for heteromorphs everywhere.

I really liked this chapter and Having All Might Live since its purpose was to show the students that there is a life after being a hero and you don't need to die a hero or go out in a blaze of glory. I feel like it is a call back to Izaiwa and all-night talk on the bench earlier in the series where all might felt useless and felt bad for being alive. but then again I also enjoy MHA a lot more than jjk

  • @BlastMagicianYGO

I don't necessarily believe that saving All Might was a bad call, but I can definitely see where you're coming from, I was very much rooting for a badass send off for All Might from the start of that battle. I'm also waiting to see where the story goes beyond this point before making an actual judgement. That said, even though I don't think you actually read your comments (emails being a whole other thing, apparently). I'm going to approach this idea from the perspective of a writer, which is how I spend most of my creative energy alongside DnD.
The idea of euphoric revenge after a gut punch is better known as catharsis, which can be a very powerful tool for a writer, but it's largely dependent on the kind of story you're looking to write. Take FMA, for example, the death of a beloved character early on in the story is left to fester, the audience left craving vengeance against the murderer right up until very nearly the end of the story. And it's at that point, once it seems like we, the readers finally starts to approach that point of catharsis that everything starts to sour, everything feels wrong. And it's made clear that the blind hunger for revenge and catharsis is one of the biggest things that turn people into monsters.
Now, is that what I think MHA is going for? No, but I don't think the cathartic payoff you're looking for is one that suits a story like this. That said, MHA is a story about heroes and villains, where villains, with the notable exception of All For One, are people lashing out at a society that the believe has slighted them. In their most idealized sense, a hero is not defined by the villains they've slain, but the Innocents they've saved. So, in the moment All Might fails to blow up AFO, his purpose, his role in this story shifted to that of an innocent, someone helpless whose life is in the hands of a villain. What I would like to see starting in 405, is the desperate struggle against powerful villains while struggling to keep All Might out of harm's way. The fact that this is being broadcast to the whole world also shows the world the type of heroes to whom the world renowned Symbol of Peace has passed his torch.
On a more character-driven note, giving Bakugo a chance to free himself from the guilt of putting All Might in the position of losing the last vestiges of his power is also hugely important, as it will hopefully allow him to grow past his rage-fueled combat junkie persona into someone who fully understands what it means for a hero to "Win". I say fully understand, because I believe he already knows that at some level, but his explosive temper and competitive nature gets in the way.
We've also seen Deku after the loss of a mentor in the vigilante arc. He's goal-oriented to the point of self-distruction, and tends to run himself into the ground. Against foes this dangerous, that is a Deku that loses.

Lastly this is great for Bakugo's character as it essentially completes it by redeeming himself for "ending" AM due to being kidnapped and it goes along with that whole concept of "save to win and win to save" which is currently applying to both Deku and Bakugo in this battle

Personally I feel like too many writers use death as a crutch to squeeze out more emotion from the audience, but I also agree that it's a natural conclusion for a character that has nowhere else to go in the story
Also i'm in plenty of anime circles as well, and NO ONE is talking about my hero. But they haven't been talking about it for years, it's pretty much nosedived from the public consciousness in comparison to it's heights of popularity.

    • @thehobbyist7275
      @thehobbyist7275 10 месяцев назад +3

I can certainly agree with that sentiment, but only if the character in question wasn't elevated or fleshed out enough. If it was a random side character I'd get it, but when its 1) a character we're more attached to and 2) serves the purpose of the narrative or a particular character arc, it works. For example, Rengoku's death in Demon Slayer didn't work for me because aside from being likable, what else really added to the weight of his death? We got his backstory, but not much else that did anything for Tanjiro imo. The death of Ace in One Piece is completely different. We got a lot of information on Ace, and while it might not be tragic for everyone, for me, it was Ace's closing remark of "Thank you for loviing me" that hit hardest. We literally saw a character who's normally optimistic hit his lowest point ever and realize he can't always win. From Sabody Archipelago to Marineford, Luffy hasn't succeeded much. He lost his crew and then his brother, who questioned if he should be alive due to being Roger's son. Also, I think Oda is the king of flashbacks that not only flesh out the characters on who the flashback is about, but it greatly contributes to the world of One Piece at large. Luffy grew to understand that he needed to get stronger and that his grit wasn't enough. A death that had a purpose.
My favorite kind of death, though, is when you feel as though a character never got to reach the conclusion of their arc or that it was unfair or cruel. John Coffee in Green Mile was perfect for this. He was incredibly sweet despite how other people treated him and most people found it to be highly unfair that he was wrongly accussed of the crime he didn't commit and that he was gonna be put to death with no ability of escape. It added to the pain through dramatic irony when you know the victims' families don't know what we know about John Coffee and are justified in being angry. That's also how I compare Weather Report's death in Jojo, too. He never got the closure of getting his revenge due to his backstory with Pucci of losing his memories and his sister with his inability to die

While I absolutely love MHA, and consider it part of the new generation of the Big 3 (this is entirely my own opinion, I'm fully aware the Big 3 isn't a thing anymore) there are some things I don't like about it.
    1. It has taken a turn that most Manga often do which seems to deviate from what I fell in love with abut the story in the first place.
    2. Most of the characters in 1-A got their own mini arc where we got to learn a bit more about them. But there are still a few that never got that, which I'm sad about, cuz I was looking forward to that.
    3. I'm not a huge fan of AFO's quirk. I get that it's powerful, and that's the whole point, but every other quirk have limits and weaknesses, yet AFO does not.
    4. While I like many of the new abilities Deku has unlocked in OFA, I think I actually prefered it when it was just a powerbooster.

I agree that taking away that key moment where All Might could have made a worth while sacrifice, really cheapens the moment/story/theme. Maybe it was to prove that the foreseen fated death is not going to come to past? We could only speculate... But again, I agree with you on this point.

    Spoiler of ch.404 ahead:
As of the last panel of chapter 404, All Might is alive. He should not be, and to a degree, neither should Bakugo. While there are reasons why Bakugo lives, there is no reason for All Might to be saved, it prevents a very emotional moment mid fight that could have lead to not 1, but 2 rage fueled power ups in Deku and Bakugo, seeing their mentor and literal hero ripped in half in front of their eyes and being fully incapable of doing anything about it. It would have giving them a powerful reason to go absolutely all in and raise themes of not only vengance, but also unity in the face of absolute evil. I get why Horikoshi didn't do it as MHA is aimed to younger audiences, but it would have been a lesson in the reality of life, things don't always go your way, people die, even if they are believed to be invincible, or beloved, or important. Everyone is subject to death and that death can and often does comes from some form evil, but MHA missed its chance to convey their message in a meaningful way, a "so long as we stand up together, we will prevail, evil will be defeated" and thats why this chapter has pissed me off so much

Aside from the quality of X character's death in JJK (although I think it wasn't good at all), I can see why MHA could have gone another route but I don't agree at all with the reason explained in this video.
What I understood from it is that because people are talking about one series instead of another so the one being ignored should try to recreate a similar situation.
This just wouldn't work for series that are as different as MHA and JJK are, they occupy different niches and should stick to what they are good at instead of one copying the other.
People are already starting to jump off the JJK ship since a lot of what people complain about MHA's finale has begun to show up in JJK too, it's just that because it came after, there are still more people talking about it, that's all.

Only parts of the final arc of MHA that get me are the teases or just tastes of much larger concepts with no follow through. Like stated, the heteromorph discrimination is a big example, but also that whole part suffered because of the lack of Spinner having a Hero character to act as his foil throughout the story (and if there were at least slight references to discrimination throughout like simply saying a glass ceiling for heteromorph heros so the never rank in the top 5 or something). But that whole bit was just out of nowhere and unfortunately, Shoji was tee'd up to get future focus as he was like Kirishima, always around and taking hits. Like story potential was lost because of what I feel was to "keep it safe" and not focus on such a heavy topic.
Other late game things that were said that didn't need to said if there was no pay off, Shigaraki's body not finishing the process to fully adapt to All For One. It was fine for the war, but then during the Dark Hero arc we're told 2 months just to be hit with "jk it'll be 3 days" and then someone died so you could have an extra week. Like no need to mention a timetable at all just to correct it immediately. The other was the mention that there were other potential candidates than Shigaraki, with Dabi being one of them, but nevermind Dabi burned them all down in the past yet this was never brought up when Dabi showed up to the forming of the League of Villains. Both of these together make up all the potential to properly give time for your finale. Shigaraki needs rest, AFO is out of Tartarus and calls in his "other children" and we have a couple arcs to show the outcome of the first war, villains amassing power, side characters to shine, set up for the final clashes, and get our villains in the mindset for the final war at a reasonable pace than just "here we are, let the world burn".
Instead it's war, very brief fall out and emo phase for Deku to quickly get resolved, whoops you have a month till dark times, bam Tomura is back to fight America's #1 like the next day, oh she died but here's an extra week, to the traitor plot point we said a long time ago but nothing came of it so we use it now, and finally get ready to get your teeth kicked in final fights.
Characters are in complex emotional territory and it feels like we're speeding past it to get to the action of the end while pointing out all the billboards we manage to get a glimpse of.
Love MHA but seriously feels like there's little room to breathe in the story at this point as All Might vs AFO is the most fleshed out character moments we've had in awhile, which is because we all expected a death incoming. I agree that with this fight, All Might has used up all stock as a character to the story. If he makes it out of this just fine, it will retrospectively lessen his "final" fight

I think the reason MHA not killing off important characters is a bad thing is due to its perceived length. No one expects MHA to last for an absurd amount of time like One Piece which means characters sticking around won’t have the same impact. We’ve seen Buggy who was initially presented as a complete joke turn into one of the most important and impactful characters in the entire series but MHA can’t achieve that because it doesn’t want to last for 26+ years. That’s why JJK killing off multiple important characters works because nobody expects the story to last a genuinely insane amount of time and it leaves a big impact on the remaining story.

The fueled by anger angle doesn't really work for Deku's arc throughout the story. I've been preaching since this final arc saga started that All Might and All For One have overstayed their welcome in MHA. Deku has little to no development at this point of the series and no real chance aside from the story telling us Deku wants to be number 1 and things of that nature, he's never been challenged. Whether its an external and physical exchange or an internal one about ideologies or the morals of Deku. Lady Nagant was perfect because she was a hero, but what did Deku do with everything she had to bring? What about Stain or Gentle Criminal and La Brava? He verbally acknowledged the latter pair, but what did he take or learn from them? The idea of taking from others' happiness could've greatly challenged Deku's ideals because he's mentioned several times he wants to bring a smile like All Might did, but could've had a real moment to realize that things aren't that simple... but we kinda brushed past it to training/school mode.
Shigaraki literally has had the best development in the series imo and is the first for a villain that I've seen become scary and legit. He's learned from Stain, Overhaul, and Redestro on the ideologies and abilities that leaders have to bring people to a cause and in having the structure to effectively run an organization. Shigaraki has all the tools, but Hirokoshi imo needs to metaphorically kick Deku and Shigaraki from their respective birds' nests and let them fly on their own.
Say what you will about its ending, but Naruto had conflict after conflict about his reason for being Hokage. Zabuza and Haku challenged and defined Naruto's belief that shinobi are people too, Neji with people's fates being determined with no escape (even if in the meta, he was right), Gaara as a jinchuriki mirror for Naruto, Madara and the Infinite Tsukiyomi which really played into the themes of Naruto in general, Pain with the cycle of hatred and being students of Jiraiya, and as much as I don’t want to acknowledge them, Sasuke with how they handled isolation and Obito's dream of being Hokage

Shigaraki even comments on it, tells us it's too late to save All Might because the vestige just changed and we all know what that means. But then, Bakugo swoops in, to reach All Might in time to... undo his death? We even see the vestige vanishing again and reforming back into the shadowy one.

While I completely agree with your take on how that should’ve been how they killed All Might I can understand why Horikoshi chose the “save All Might route”. It’s basically to bring Bakugo’s character arc full circle. In Bakugo’s eyes he killed All Might during battle against All For One when they were trying to save Bakugo. By having Bakugo be the one to save All Might this time around in his eyes he’s redeemed himself as someone who didn’t kill him but saved him instead. That’s my reasoning on why Horikoshi decided to go this route. But personally I agree with your take, it would’ve made for a bigger impact.

so here's my opinion on the end of MHA I don't think It's rushed, hafl arsed or any of those complaint's however there is a feeling of incompleteness that's been there since around the raid on meta liberation front as I think MHA author wanted to focus on the villains but since his editor didn't want that he was forced on to track he was on now. I also disagree with your all might point because it goes against my hero's biggest theme and that is "hero's should save people" which I think it is so important that the collision to this fight was bakago saving all might from a "victory" has it has been what there arcs have been leading to since allmight saved bakago. as bakago only focus at the start of MAH and his idea of what a hero was a "hero wining" it was whole reason for bakago's and deku's fight at the end of seasons 3 which is there conlficting idea of what a hero should be and how they are should learn from each and then you bring allmight into this who value's his life the least out of any charcter in MAH and who was going for a "win" not thinking about someone saving him a "hero for a hero" which is uravity's idea of what a hero is or at least part of it. because hear is the thing bakago could have more then likely finished all for one off there and if this was season 1 he would have more then likely gone for the kill shot but it would have ruined his character and also the themes of the manga. it's also not like his fight was pointless as all for one was 20 year old at the start of the fight he is now around dekus age. I also don't think death is the right end for all for one at least a death at the hands of hero's because I think were the story is going is that ever shigi kills him or deku sacrifices one for all to get read of the quick all for one. any way thanks for reading and sorry for the spelling. one more thing JJK's final fight is really really bad personal and very boring

I would say thay that quirk racism always existed since shinso and toga were introduced, and the heteromorph racism is solved, just highlighted. That’s what this whole war represents, the flaws of society bubbling over into a catastrophe, the lesson being to learn from these problems and work to try and prevent them from repeating, toga and Dabi’s fights are excellent representation of it. But there’s still no guarantee all the problems would be fixed afterwards.
This is ultimately how I feel Deku will ‘save’ Shigaraki, to be a hero that saves everyone he’ll have to see and learn what created evil him and work to fix it. That would be going beyond what all might did.

Over the past few chapters, I realized that this would’ve been one of the few times that I might’ve liked a character’s death equating in another’s power up. The way I thought it was gonna go was that, since we were given the line of how All Might made OFA his own quirk, his death would result in Deku’s power doubling. I could be biased because that’s where I theorized that it was actually gonna go, but since we didn’t get that, I’m not upset or off put by it. The reason being that I don’t often see characters who are blinded and acting on rage fair well too often, especially in Deku’s case. When Lady Nagant was nearly killed in front of him, Deku ran himself ragged and nearly got himself captured. The bigger incident was when Shigaraki nearly killed Gran Torino. Sure, Deku got in a few good shots, but he then ran right into nearly having his quirk taken away. The rewrite sounds like it would’ve been cool though.
One major reason I think the story has played out the way it has is because it’s been foreshadowed. While we got Nighteye’s premonitions, which are supposed to be unavoidable, we get one broken and practically told that All Night’s fate is due to be changed. For that reason, and how All Might’s survival and future involvement would galvanize the fight for good, much like Hercule in DBZ, I can roll with what we’re given.
The other reason is subject matter. While JJK is about tragedy and despair, MHA is about “superheroes”. Saving and protecting is what they do. It’s their purpose. In the end, it’s more expected that things end on as much of a happy note as possible. However, I don’t think that All Might’s role in the story is quite done. Like Hercule, he holds great influence over people, to the point that they might not even care if he’s powerless and still value his words (in both cases). After seeing him be saved by a couple of his students, many will flock to him, when this is over, for the chance and hope that they can be like the great heroes under his tutelage.

I think what we are forgetting is the difference between MHA and JJK. JJK is dark. It is gritty. So the death of that character fits and works for the story. And with MHA, is what I would consider Noblebright. It’s upbeat, it’s happy. It’s not this dark and gritty story where death is everywhere and the author is going ‘you like this character? Fuck you they’re dead.’ So I wouldn’t have expected Horikoshi to go down the kill All Might route, because it doesn’t fit the tone of MHA. Also that image of him with Adult Deku means that there would be a riot from the fandom if he did die and Hori’s already received so many death threats.

  • @Kunoichi4ever4

The issue is sadly probably not solvable. Horikoshi has a multitude of health issues and unlike the Black Clover author who is suffering a similar fate - but decided to only make 1 chapter per 3 months, Horikoshi decided to push through(which caused the final arc being what it is). For me I hope Hori will exectue his main ideas, and hopefully the story can be slowed down and explored a bit more in the anime.
As for the deaths, I am very neutral on that - I dont think whether All Might lives or dies the message of the story would change, at this point it truly would be just a tearjerker (and a sus one since after the 2 Bakugou deaths I dont think anyone would buy it immediately). My only actual worry is still the Todoroki storyline, coz it isnt fully wrapped up, and that does carry themes that whichever route Hori decides to choose , it will have consequences on the message of the story. I still love the story, and as long as the main ideas get delivered I think I will be happy regardless of the rushing and lack of death. In the end it d be kinda adorable to see old All Might watching his youngling heroes create a better hero society together.

The fact Almight didn't die and Bakugo came back to life after dying, just takes away any little stakes the final war had and it feels like there's no need to worry anymore as no one is gonna die, just maybe lose a arm or leg.
I didn't really know if these decisions Horikoshi is making is really cause he is sick , at times I feel like he has enough good mentally health to see his writing mistakes.

I hate to be that guy, but those themes weren't "introduced" they're just being stated for the first time. We have been getting little insights into the MHA world the whole time, but they were always a bit more subtle. Remember Gang Orca being "The Hero that Most Looks Like a Villain"? Now I get that you'd say, but he's a Orca Yakuza member...but the statement was "looks like" as in just because he's a Orca in a suit then that somehow makes him more villainous.
Which is very much a statement about how the society views people with mutation quirks. Likewise we have Spinner, and tons of the foot soldiers for the League of Villains...I'd be the first to agree it was never fleshed out, but I balk at the idea that it was just introduced.

Little insight is right so little in fact it felt like forced racism just for the sake of it because the dragon hero looked way more villain like than gang orca and yet she’s loved by the public if they wanted us to feel like it’s a bigger issue it’s supposed to be why not focus a bit more attention on it like have some students or civilians actually be discriminating towards shoji or koda that way when they fight spinner that impact would have been much bigger than what it currently is

    • @LupineShadowOmega
      @LupineShadowOmega 10 месяцев назад

@@wildwolfst.julien4873 Because they're literally heroes and being a hero is a big enough deal culturally that it tends to override other cultural bias? You know, like how people stopped asking Shinzo when he's going to start using his powers for evil?
Besides, again we have examples. Spinner himself is one. Likewise, the league of villains have lots of mutation type foot soldiers were also a subtle nod. And we even have people being weird about Tsuyu's family for them being more frog like. Like I said, it wasn't expanded upon, but its definitely there in the text of the story.

But the thing is though is that horror koshy is extremely sick. That's why everything is so short. That's why the whole arc where certain people with certain quirks were getting mistreated was so short because of the fact that he's extremely sick and I'm not going to lie to you I am the biggest MHA fan ever, but I have to tell you that I thought I was going to be disappointed by all might not dying and this would be my first actual thing that I truly did not like about this arc, but then once I read the chapter leagues for chapter 405, I realized that how horicose she handled. It was actually in a pretty genius way. He blatantly addresses in these leaks why all might didn't die and he uses night eye to do it and basically talk to all might telling him that (Yes, I'm paraphrasing here) " I expected you to die" and then all might replies back with smile and says " Why? Because the mentor needs to die in order to pass the torch on to his students" but then night I call him by his name, and his full name at that and tells him that heroes constantly dying is merely a trope and comic books and heroes don't actually die that easily" So he's basically telling his audience why all might didn't die or at least his reasoning behind it.

I honestly kinda fell out of it after Shigi got his power boost. From that point on it kinda Naruto -> DBZ power scales. Like, in the beginning i really liked how there is a lot of versatility and uniqueness to the quirks, and unique utilizations. I get that this show is more power fantasy than something like HxH which has a far more IQ based fight system and thats fine. But like, un-ironically, after that powerup no one who isn't deku actually matters in a fight. When shigi got up, no hero actually hurt him besides stopping him from touching the floor and causing another disaster (if any people were even alive in his effect range after the 1st wave) But like, they didn't hurt him in a way that mattered, they didnt contain him, they greatly injured themselves, and they didn't capture anyone besides Machina (who breaks out later anyways). That whole fight really just showed that everyone else's best effort is to just buy time for deku and it kinda sucks that the show about a powerless kid wanting to become a hero even without a quirk turned into a show about how if you dont have power there is nothing you can do.

I actually don’t mind if an MC dies with reason, When Goku died with Cell, it was a low, following a high, Goku was the main character for like 300 episodes at this point and to see him sacrifice himself so the hero’s could win was great, it showed a resolve and it gave the hero’s the ability to go on.

All Might dying would be a lazy conclusion to his character imo. Deku’s mom begs him not to give up his life so that he can help raise him. And Bakugo saving him redeemed his character as well. He still needs to see Deku have his big “I am Here!” moment too.
All that being said, the Edgeshot stuff is pretty indefensible, and the lack of hype is because the fandom scares a lot of people away from even admitting they’re readers 😂
