- Along with US 24, I-69 South was definitely a great trip with their loud concrete sections and weird but interesting bridges. Two viewers wanted me to end at Gas City, IN but had to continue to the Indianapolis area!

I loved going on this for our road trip from Canada to indianapolis. Are you able to do the full thing of exit 317 to exit 200 on highway 69
I am glad you finally uploaded this. I absolutely love the concrete sections in Fort Wayne and the one in Gas City on interstate 69. Other places in Indiana you might want to check out with concrete sections are on route 24 starting in Huntington all the way to route 25 from Logansport all the way to interstate 65 right outside of Lafayette Indiana. I looked at the concrete sections on google street view and they look like they have interesting groove patterns and good sounds. Another one is route 20 from Elkhart to South Bend Indiana as well. Anways happy new year, it's crazy how another year has already gone by.
Yep thanks! I also did US 24 to Fort Wayne!!
Yeah I saw the video. I love the buzz saw sounding pavements like on u.s. 24 there and honestly it is one of my all time favorite pavement sounds. Could you add those suggestions I gave you for Indiana to your list and could you do them both ways?
I love all the original classic Indiana concrete sections south of Ft Wayne. This is very similar to I-65 south of IN-2, but those bridges over the ditches have been redone with the verticlel grooves recently. I also never understood the purpose of having a grooved concrete section under the rural overpasses. It makes it more icy in winter from the water dripping from the bridge above.
The state calls them approach slabs for some reason
@shaneyop6486 I did not know, thank you
Gas city is the best section
Yep, and the LOUDEST I'VE EVER HEARD!!!
What about I-70 in centerville a couple years ago they were similar until indot “Silenced” that part
