First Thoughts on Romania | Romania's Most Dangerous Hammock

- Welcome to Romania everybody - this is our first time in this country and we have planned a week long road trip through some of the more untouched and beautiful parts of this country.
Check out Vlad and Georgina from Romanian Thrills: bit.ly/2nxL7ua
After leaving Kazakhstan at 3am in the morning we arrived in Bucharest - there we were picked up by our guides Vlad and Georgina and we instantly hit the road.
Our first stop was the cute town of Horezu where they do unique pottery designs - especially how they paint the plates - using a cows horn and a birds feather.
As we slowly made our way out to our hotel, we saw some small villages, ancient monastery and Jess tried water from a 200 year old well.
By now the jet lag had officially kicked in by the time we arrived at our hotel, so after a slow morning the adventures began the next day.
We rock climbed a 200 meter cliff side and after the intense hike we went into one of the most dangerous hammocks in the world - and just hung out.
Once we made our way down we went for a dip in a fresh stream and found our new love - Papanasi - the Romanian Cheese Doughnuts and wow we have found our new favorite desert.
After checking out a rainbow Forrest art exhibit we headed to our next hotel - with some slight spooky vibes.
First hotel we stayed at - Hanul Vutra: hanulvatra.com/ro/
Second hotel - Boutique Hotel Danielescu: www.casadanielescu.ro/

@@flyingthenest not that stage yet. It depends on your next Romania videos. No pressure 😄
We are watching you from the USA and miss our country even more now. My teen kids really want to go on a Romanian trip next summer and get to connect more with their Romanian roots and heritage. We go to Romania every summer , but we still have so many unexplored places, we usually stay in Constanta, my hometown and spend time with our extended family, so we don't have enough time to go on a road trip across Romania, but you inspired us to do so next summer. You should also come back to Romania in the summer and visit the summer resorts, the seaside , Constanta, the Danube Delta and the beautiful Dobrogea county.
Do I see Romania in my future ? YESSS!!!!! 😍🤩

You two are wonderful. Romania is such a special place. Even though I was there 8 years ago, this video made me feel like I was there just yesterday. Thank you 💛
I went Romania last year and did a Moldovan / Romanian wedding. Probably the best wedding I been too! And it's such a beautiful country.
We started in Bacau, Moineste, Brasov, Bucharest then a small town West and finally Timisoara.
I've been visting Romania for a while. i had a friend over there. I was very amazed by the beauty of your country. I remember I thold her: "i was able to understand most scientifical stuff and technical in a larger way (same for history). I could only understand from 46 to 55% of romanianeven though I am not a romanian speaker. That's probably cause I studied Latin and I am french, at least for reading. Pronounciation is quite different. She was laughing when I was reading romanian in the same way I was used to for latin xD
I visited: Arrad, Timisoara, Sarmizegetuza, Vlad tepes' Castle, and orshava.
Pople were nice. I remember in the manor in Orshava, a couple of old people. The old guy could speak romanian and german only. I speak german a bit (not that much and in a very bad way ). We discussed a little bit. I wa very happy to have the chance in meeting the few people I talked to.
On the road to Sarmizegetuza, my friends and I met a couple of Gypsies. It was so funny. I remembered I wanted to pass because he was blocking my way whit his chiar, he told me something in german, I naturally replied "Entschuldingung". The he replied me back with "Sie sprechen deutsch" ? The en we talk a bit. He loved to show us how much money and jewels he earned while working in Germany xD
I was also seduced by food. like sarmale (romanian cabbage roll), chiftele and many more. This is another country in which you can't starve to death cause it's so awesome. When I think some people in my family think Romanians do not know how to properly decorate and mix savors/flavours, im still upset. Believe me, come in this beautiful country, you wil not regret it.
During my roadtrip, I noticed people were not in a hurry, and took every second in their lives to love what they could. I'm sure the "Little paris" is supposed to be Buccarest has alifestyle diamterally opposed to the reste of Romania. But, Still, you're calm and a peacefull country/pople.
You're hardworker, good in both in medecine and IT field.
For all romanian people, in France, they are still french who are not considering your whole people as thieves, scumbag. I know you're still suffering from the clichés of gypsies cause ethymologycally Roms and Romanians are very close.
I convinced a friend to go with me in romania. I wish i convinced more friends to follow me in your beautiful country. Next time I will follow the steps of your ancestors, in Adamclisi
I am very proud to see that such a country like yours, which is far away from other latins european countries, still shares and perpetuates the legacy of our former coloniser: Roman people, in addition to the foreign cultural influences (tattars, slavic, turkish.....).
Greetings from your elder sister, France.
Thank you very much for your kind words!🙏🏻❤️

What you did climbing up that rock is called a 'via ferrata'. As an outdoor instructor I can tell that the equipment looked all well maintained, (pretty) new and safe, so kudo's for my Romanian colleagues.
As a European myself I've been to a lot of European countries but never that far east. Must try it one day. Right now focusing more on the Latin American jungle, but this would be cool for a short trip like maybe 2 weeks. But sure Australia is on my bucket list also. The land of Les Hiddens (Bush Tucker Man), my hero and inspiration.
Anyway. Always enjoy watching travel video's most of all when they are like yours. Just relaxing and let us enjoy what you have experienced without all this opinion stuff in it.
