Bra Ajax CT were the feeder club of AFC Ajax of Amsterdam and were partially owned by the Amsterdam club . They sold their shares and now the club is called Cape Town Spurs , no crest/badge was stolen. It was purely business.
Yeah, Rico, you’re right. We said in the video that it was rather copy-paste than stealing but we thought this whole story would be interesting for our viewers.

Ajax Cape Town was an affiliate of Ajax Amsterdam, it's in the name. The entire point was for ACT to develop talents in SA, then Ajax Amsterdam would sign those prospects. Think of Thulani Serero, Steven Pienaar and Benni McCarthy
@DarkMenmawrld he started at Cape Town Spurs, which later became Ajax Cape Town, he then moved to Ajax, Celta Vigo and then Porto when he won the 2004 UCL, he only joined Pirates in 2011💀 if you don't believe me look it up
At no anytime did Ajax Cape Town use that emblem, they used the same emblem as Ajax Amsterdam because they were their feeder club...players like Steven Pienaar and Thulani Serero come from Ajax CT and graduated to Ajax of Amsterdam
There was no theft in the Ajax story. Ajax Amsterdam had shares in Ajax Cape Town and as part of the deal, Ajax Amsterdam would get first refusal on any Ajax Cape Town player that attracted interest from a European club or was good enough to play in Europe.
Lots of bad ripoffs in Canadian lower tiers. Check out St Catherine's Roma (Roma ripoff), Alliance United (Atlanta United ripoff), Vaughan Azzuri (Canadian National team ripoff AND Italian kit ripoff) Toronto Atomic FC (Bologna Ripoff), SC Real Mississauga (Real Madrid Ripoff). Lots of those teams play in a league that was desanctioned by FIFA for match fixing, but they still exist. Some are actual real, sanctioned clubs in the Canadian second division
That's good information thanks, I remember St. Catharine's Roma (note the spelling). I believe there was a Toronto Croatia that played at Etobicoke Centennial Stadium that had Croatia unies but I could be mixing up some details. edit: I am looking up the CSL might be the league you are referring to? There is a Serbian White Eagles (Serbia badge), York Region Shooters (LA Galaxy badge), Brampton Stallions (looks like Chievo Verona badge),
4:34 is that their new logo on screen? I like it. Sort of looks like an S and C combining to look like an old military style helmet like a Spartan or Roman helmet but it could also be a military helmet of a culture I’m unfamiliar with. Regardless it’s still cool looking
Another copy of the Man. Utd logo was the Crawley Town badge in 2010. They even have the nickname "The Red Devils". It only lasted for one year though as they changed to their current badge in 2011.
2:06 The city in the logo is because the team is Brampton City United, not Brampton United. Though that logo looks like it's possibly on the razors edge of what you could possibly get away with legally.
No that shield for Nacional potosi is a police shield shape When Nacional Potosi copied River Plate logo but with different shape. Because The Argentinian club "River Plate" was founded in 1901 and Bolivian club "Nacional Potosi" was founded in 1942 so Nacional Potosi stole River Plate logo and also Nacional Potosi stole the River Plate's jersey colors.
Come on, some of these logo's are not copies but just similar... like Milan and Bologna... or charlton and midtjyland... logo's are easily very similar when they are in a circle, especially when the clubs have the same colours... but they're not always copycats because of that... lame video!
Genova, bologna and milan logos use the red cross flag as they all refer to 2 points 1. the Carrioccio aka the Italian imperial forces, which translates as a sign of "strenght" in sports nowadays 2. the red cross was associated to Milan's/Genova's and Bologna's city since the 1220... the flag in itself just represents the unity of nobility with the people. Just knowing a bit of history gets this youtuber without a job. Even Bologna FC logo looks similar to the logo used in the city flag.
I encourage you to do your research Mr. Content-maker. You are misleading on Ajax Cape Town and it is a strong show of ignorance. I was starting to enjoy your content, but this video is a disappointment to the highest standard from what I have come to expect.
Actually Man Utd stole their design from Liverpool. Their current logo started off from the 1960’s and it’s a total rip off of Liverpool’s logo from the 1940’s

100% there are a million logos just like that across all sports and design. That's why they gave the logotype the name roundel.
I don't think it's stealing if you just use the same circle and colour, whilst everything else is changed.
The thing that most people need to understand that INSPIRED and BORROWED are two different terms. Most I see in here is inspired, rather than stole...
