      PowerNation I'd actually been a regular viewer of the programming on Power Nation ever since it was still called "The Power Block" and even back when the TV channel was still called "The Nashville Network" (I basically just dated myself by stating that information)

      Back when people actually still watched TV because it was GOOD. I miss the old days of POWERBLOCK and G4!

    It was cool seeing a Hunter laser alignment tool. I worked there when they were developing it.

    I brought the statement that the cab was made out of two cabs to a WWII truck driver Marine vet. He said this was common practice during WWII overseas because of parts shortages and war needs.

      No it because it was originally a open cab

    Hydraulic steering not alowed in some states? What did they use then? Regular mechanical steering?

    • @Mekhanic1
      @Mekhanic1 5 лет назад

      If you lose fluid in hydro steering, you lose steering.

      @Mr Sunshines no dude, I made a legit question, I didn't want to make a statement that I know more than the host of the show, because I don't. Idk what goes through your mundo to be 100% sure that I was commenting just to be a dick. Sorry for your life being so miserable

    Hi, I'm David and I like old car's and trucks,I don't have one but wish I did . I did have a 1969 Chevelle when I was 16 God how I loved that car my mom gave it to me for my birthday, I got really sick and was put in the hospital when I was better and went to get my car it was gone, I was really up set about it and look for it every place I want I or the police never found it. To this day when I see one at a show I can't help but to wonder if it's mine. I wish I could afford to get another one. At least they can't steal my memoirs of all the great time I had in it...I love watching your show and learning lots of things. I just wish I had something to work on now that i have all this knowledge from watching your awesome Show. Your awesome, and thanks for such a great show and teaching us a lot of d.i.y. ...

    Think 40s and Dana 60s would have been more versatile and appropriate on the this truck

      no, 2.5 ton axles are way better. spinning almost 50 inch tires with dana axles will break them guaranteed. you would have to spend a crazy amount of money in aftermarket parts to keep them alive. even then they would not be reliable. the 2.5 ton axles can handle those tires and more, really they can handle about anything. the 2.5 ton axles also are dirt cheap, you can get a set of front and rear axles for 1700 US.
