I’m new to your channel came to you through Zee . I’m adding two rows of double crochet after the cross double crochet to make the hat a little longer for me, and then all that do the single crochet rounds after that. Very nice tutorial. I used exact same yarn and hook size 5.5 and came out a lot smaller than 7.5 inches. I suggest going up a hook size for tight crocheters. Looks like a child-sized hat, not adult.
