I have admired Oliver Platt for years as he has shown me various characters going deep into each one and giving his audience a view that few could achieve. I truly admire his talents. They are immeasurable.

You have to admit, a part of you was terrified for robert when dr.charles went near him...
I was terrified, but not for Robert. I was afraid that Dr. Charles would get himself in trouble by acting in the heat of passion and hurting Robert.
First thing I thought of, he was recording the conversation to get dr. Charles to admit it. But he handled his words really well. Even if it was recorded, it wouldn't mean anything.

Spoilers for last episode of season 3 and first for Season 4 (AKA The one this video is from)
Daniel found out Robert Haywood here had done some nasty stuff (Serial killer i think) and revealed to Robert that he knew. Robert had a heart attack and Daniel wasnt doing anything, until Sarah found them. She saw that the same way Robert did (Daniel wasnt gonna help him) and left the place since she didnt feel she could trust Daniel anymore.
MOre or less that. The haywood arc is a build up over several episodes but the payoff is just these 2 episodes.

They said straight out in season 3 that he is a psychopath. It was a several episode story line, unless you mean Dr. Charles is the psychopath? That's interesting and that would be Crazy! If you're right

He seemed really dark in this clip but I guess I have to watch the episode for context, I haven't had a chance to do that yet

I also think that this interaction implied heavily that Dr. Charles is a psychopath or that he tried to pose as one in order to creep the other guy out.
I mean look at that twitching of his lips when the other one tells him to kill him in order to put him out of his misery. He is positivly gloating. Also the line at the end that psychopaths can adapt to almost everything can also be reference to being able to fake empthy incredibly well, thus permitting him to become a therapist.
Is there any follow up on this epispde involving Dr. Charles antisocial tendencies?

Remember he is a neurologist. Dr. Charles knows how someone with a psychosis (or something like that) behaves. He is copying that kind of behavior to backlash to Robert and see him react.

Najma Mohamed Connor did decide to stay after all😊 he was offered a job at the Mayo Clinic , but I think Reese left because of dr.Charles and her dad almost dying. There’s a new C.O.O on the board and she’s a real bitch to mrs. Goodwin, because Connor proposed a surgery suite in the E.R because he lost a patient on the way to the O.R , but dr bekker got Connors dad to anonymously donate some of the money to cover the expenses and mrs. Goodwin got the hospital board to approve
