I use that same trick of keeping the backing wax paper a little longer to help remove it, but on double sided tape. It takes a long time to separate the tape from the backing paper if they are cut flush. Great job as always!

Good Video. Valuable information. Keep up the good work. This issue alone has me very upset with Shaper. I have wasted a lot of tape. It only takes one quality issue like this to make me question Shaper totally.

Thanks man, appreciate your kind words. The delamination issue is a real pain, agree...

The delamination issue is big for me. I understand it is related to the age of the tape and Shaper knows about the problem. Unfortunately, I bought my first Shaper a few months ago and the included tape rolls had delamination problems, leading me to think Shaper is using old tape rolls when shipping new machines. Bad marketing move to give new Shaper users a headache by using old tape. Thanks to you, I ordered Wonder tape to solve that issue. I am in California so the tape is priced normally for me.

How shabby, to put old tape with a 4000 dollar device! And the first time experience of a new user! Fiddling around with a delaminating tape... Sorry that happened to you

Great video, I'm going to get some for myself here in the US. Have you tried printing tape using the Brother QL-800 label maker? I'd love to see a video tutorial on how to do it. I have the label maker but can't make it work.

Thanks for your kind words 🙏🏼 I don’t have such a printer. When I checked the label prices last time it looked rather expensive per domino. Did that change?

@@Woodensoul I got the printer for about 100 bucks and a roll of tape is about $10 maybe only five. And it’s wide enough to do two rows of dominoes.

@@RDAUGIRD I see, and you can print like 150 feet with that, if you print double row then 300 feet. How much do you pay for a toner cartridge?
