I wonder if House ever thought of being a marriage counselor
Divorce lawyer's more his forte.
The ones he doesn't manage to break up are really made for each other
I feel like this could be something, and it immediately made me think of this exchange on the show:
Wilson: Have you ever considered channeling your powers to, I don't know, bring peace to the Mid-East?
House: I couldn't do that.
Wilson: But if they ever got it, you could screw it up.
House: Yeah, that's more where my powers lie.
I'd pay so much money
a1000face88 yea he would have an 100% divorce rate😂
Woman: "Can I get herpes from sitting on a toilet seat?"
House: "Absolutely. There would need to be a man sitting between you and the toilet seat though."
Wrong quote, that one was about getting pregnant
Alexi Peck I’m pretty sure that’s the point, it’s a meta joke
Alexi Peck it was the right quote lmfao what
@@Madelope There was another house moment where he was treating a female patient who was pregnant and she asked (Not word for word I forget the lines),
"Can't I get pregnant another way, like from like sitting on the toilet seat?"
House:
"Absolutely. There would need to be a man sitting between you and the toilet seat, but yes."
@@ibainesy Isn't that the one with with the chick that was sleep walking and banging her ex boyfriend at night?
They cut the clip before house ran out to propose to willson after staring at the wedding ring
this killed me lmao
What happened?
Cloudy he cured the patient
Oh! the Bromance
He did more than that he realised the patients wife was poisoning her hubby with....gold!
“Don’t even think of dumping this on my lap!”
Gets me every time.
1:31 : "You ruddy jackass"
House mouthing: _what the shit_
Lmao I didn't notice that, good eyes.
Ohhhh- hA
he coulda said “what did she say?”
🤣🤣🤣
Pretty sure he repeated "ruddy jackass" with a "?!?!" As in: hmmm what an insult
That was amazing House got the epiphany for the women poisoning his husband with gold thanks to this case.
It was so cool how those clinic patients gave the epiphany for the big case
Every episode is basically house getting his epiphany from some subplot completely unrelated to the main patient.
it was one of the best episodes...
From Scrubs
JD: "I like to take lessons from my patients and apply them to other areas of my life, it works out well"
Jordan: "that seems coincidental"
JD: "and yet it happens almost every week"
@@zachariahkindle8926 Hehehe, nice one fellow Scrubs fan :-)
N
"Thanks a lot.." He was mad lmao, he was the one cheating and got mad
Thats how such people think. They don't have conscience, they don't feel guilty. They ARE ruddy jackasses.
he was mad because unless house proved his theory or told her he was lying about the toilet seat he could have gotten away with it so in his mind the entire thing was house's fault. Same logic that someone who cheats on a test uses when someone tells the teacher he cheated. It's not his fault it's the fault of the guy who called him out
Cheaters are narcissistic people
"Thanks a lot."
"My pleasure."
Classic House.
And then not only does he pinch the discarded wedding ring too, but the ring becomes the catalyst he needs to figure out the episode's other mystery disease! Truly a case that only someone like House could solve.
House, the Holmes of the Hospital.
@@MastaSmack well the character of house is inspired on sherlock holmes and wilson is his watson. He even stays at 21B Baker Street
I guess that's why I said that...
@@nawsheen7538 I didn't notice the address. The other obvious ones are his name, addiction to substance, solving mysteries, making people around him look like absolute idiots,
Gilbertory and Dr Wilson instead of Watson. And he “dies” and comes back to life....
-Herpes.
-Herpes?
-Herpes. Your turn.
“Thanks a lot.”
“My pleasure.”
Priceless!
*Couple getting a divorce in front of Cuddy and House*
House: 😃
Cuddy: 👁👄👁
Uses a lie to bring out the truth. Classic!
"Truth begins in lies" -House
This is why I love House.
"That doesn't mean anything, does it... ?"
"I am not having an affair with my daughters karate teacher, and I did NOT give my husband herpes!"
*Cuddy turns to nurse* "...find out where House is."
HAHAHA one of the best parts was left out! Cuddy always knows when House is responsible- because no other human in that hospital would create such a narrative 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lesson of the day: If you're having an affair don't go see House. You're welcome.
So my guess is his plan was to hope his wife was actually cheating? He could have just have just left it alone since she didn't have an outbreak
MOONIE not really, there are a number of ways that she'd find out. She could see his medication and either ask what it is or Google it. She could notice a change in the appearance of his dingus, although that may not happen very often. Then there's the big one, she would eventually experience outbreak and go see a doctor which would prompt her to confront her husband.
Preemptive strike was his best option, but he was screwed anyway. She'd know that she wasn't boning anyone else and he wouldn't be able to deny her accusation. He just sped up how fast his deniability would deteriorate by getting House involved.
Or just could have just justified just cheating on his justly married wife
B P *especially since it's JUST gibberish and makes no sense after a while*
He couldn't, remember that House gave him, his wife and "Miyagi" a prescription... How would he explain that?
But herpes doesn't really work that way, you can have the virus and never have an outbreak in your life, but still be able to transmit it. For example, one of his kids could have get it from another kid (kids are full of germs and don't wash their hands, they don't need to get that close) and the kid could have had an outbreak (that can pass for some pimples around the mouth) that the father could have catched by simply having his hand in contact with the kid's outbreak and not washing his hands. Seems like a lot of steps, but it's mostly to demonstrate the herpes is transmitted in many ways. You can have herpes and never know it because you simply don't have outbreak, and you can catch it from mouth to genital or genital to mouth.
There was actually some amazing psychology going on in this exchange
The "my pleasure!" response is priceless
That's just House being House... XD
I never quite understood why two people would be arguing about which one cheated. It's like two people sitting in the car, and one of them farts. One of them knows that they farted, and the other person knows that they didn't fart. No point lying and trying to convince the other person they were the one who farted.
knowing and proving are two different things.
His only hope was that she also cheated. Which is arguably worse.
Does this happen a lot in America? Patients getting free diagnosis then come back the next day and harass the hospitals for what a proven diagnosis did to their personal life?
Negan No.
Negan
Why the hell do you think TV perfectly represents real life? Use common sense.
Sorry, I was told to ask if I don't know something.
Negan
That's completely irrelevant to what I said.
Not really. You didnt have to be a jackass about answering it. People like you are why some kids are afraid to raise their hands in class.
At the end he figured that his patient is being poisioned by his wife using gold
cool youtuber wrong one.
NavyTurtles no he's right after he left the room he called Cameron to check for heavy metal poisoning (I don't remember what the test was called) but this time look for gold.
cool youtuber oh yea, I remember now, he had that stuff on his hands and got her in the bathroom. thanks.
Ricky Roberts *she* had that purple stuff on *her* hands.
An excellent RUclips account that was a completely different couple, look it up.

"Thanks a lot 😑"
"My pleasure 😊"
Kudos to the plotwriters for writing such a captivating and entertaining scene!
cuddys expressions are always 10/10
1:09 I love that House remembered the very specific "Don't be calling in sick or saying that your team needed an emergency consult" instructions which Cuddy gave him earlier
I'm so in love with Hugh Laurie
Sheila Amalia me too😍😍😍😍have bee for years
You gotto wait in the line😅
His voice is sexy and hilarious
@Verdadilio Toboggan ..very funny..
Watch his work in the Blackadder series.
_It's never Miyagi_
Good thing it's Lupus
1:50 XD best moment
Lmao turn the subtitles on
;D even better
Yes!!! I loved it!!
😂
I wonder how House would react if he ever got a couple were neither were guilty but one was really gullible
killmenowprettyprett “if neither were guilty” XD there’s no other way to get it, one of them had to be
He did. The women who convinced her boyfriend of a virgin birth
@@alexdehn100 my thought exactly!
@@alexdehn100 but the woman cheated... hence guilty
@@g.s.651 be doing the deed with someone else. Unless House made up the diagnosis which is illegal I do believe.
Oh how I miss this show can't wait for my DVD set to arrive. I will have the entire series to view at my lesure.
Did House say "I've had enough of this?" Lol
No...no, I was so close to going to bed, I cannot be pulled in to the House M.D. clip cycle now... damn you algorithm!
That look at the end always happens when house finally figures out what’s wrong with his main patient of each episode
Gold poisoning ! I would never guess gold can be poison
How did he prove husband is guilty...i didn't understand
that ring is refer to the other patient with the mystery illness, the wife that poisoning his husband with gold powder into his food
Low key thought he was gonna propose with that ring as a joke
He did. To Wilson.
It's such a House thing to have the eureka moment right after he had just solved an issue.
So well written with great acting
These just make me want to watch House all over again
Forgot how hot house was
Maybe House should have gone into Psychology, he really seems to understand people.
"thanks a lot"
"my pleasure"
xd
Have never seen House so thoughtful like that
Ahh yes the classic formative assessment, this was a really clever one
Gotta re-re-re-watch the show soon.
b-b-b-braindamaged
Hope you weren't counting on Netflix.
Thought House was gonna pawn that wedding ring to get some money. Wouldn't put that past him.
He doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who just takes anyone's possessions when he can. And he doesn't seem to need the money
1:00 "thank you" Ill google the rest...
One of the greatest scenes in TV history
God, I wish this was on Hulu...
This episode ties into the Poisonous Marriage clip where the wife is positioning her husband with gold and sodium something.
Dude house is so fuckin smart. I always watch this every week atleast 3 times cuz of how well he outsmarted him
I dont think Miyagi would be shacking up with students moms or that would give the Karate kid a whole different angle with Daniel-san's mom. John Creese probably would though.
Miyagi only ever had a handful of students in his lifetime but Daniel-san's mom gave him an offer he couldn't refuse.
House, you are............ I have no words to describe you.
Gold Thiomalmate poisoning. - the theory he comes up with
Not the same episode
@@akakerness6396 it's the same episode - "clueless" . He asks Cameron to prevent the wife from going to the toilet .
I’m rewatching house ,, Im at season 6 🙆🏽♀️🙆🏽♀️
DVD box sets
Lisa's look at 2:37
Very Informative
A modern-day Solomon.
Peter Baelish would be impressed at House for such well laid ambush.
The funny thing is that House doing that really is his pleasure
Seeing the ring led him to a startling medical insight into the team's other case - it wasn't lupus, it was ringworm.
Wasn't this the one where House staring at the wedding ring prompted him to consider gold poisoning (by his own wife) as the source of a patient's heavy metal toxicity?
Thanks a lot
My pleasure
Echo de menos este programa en la televisión.
This was such an AWESOME show. It's a shame that it ended, wish we had more seasons.
Guilty dog barks first, thought it was Miyagi too..
Me: My computer won't start.
House: He cheated on his wife.
Me: Wh-- wha
House: Herpes.
He says "thanks" like House was the one doing the cheating
see how House announced Herpes with so much enthusiasm
Even I could see the lupus on that ring
"If it makes you feel any better, have the patients that come into this place have some sort of crotch rot" LOL"
“Hurpes, your turn.”
2:39 He sounds so much like Wilson here!
I love that guy’s delivery on “I never knew” what a ruddy jackass
If you recognize the dropped ring from a different House video, you’ve watched too many House videos - go outside or go to bed, whichever makes more sense.
I did both, went to sleep outside.
The way House brought out the truth using a lie makes him as wise as King Solomon
He looks at the ring.. and ran out to cure other patient lung cancer.
great episode
i need to see part 2 of this
Honestly, House would probably make a good marriage counselor or divorce lawyer or something like that. He should really think of doing that tbh.
I recognized Stephanie Erb from Two and a Half Men.
*1:52** SUBTITLES. NOWWWWWW!!!!!!* 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ah this is the gold poisoning episode
In America for sanitation reasons they use paper covers.
In UK they just teach us not to urinate all over the seat. 🤣
They all broke out with weapons. They don't know me.
Es el pie a la siguiente serie...
Pasen la serie completa por favor
“my pleasure”
Was never sure if he meant Myagi gave it to his wife, or to the daughter who then somehow gave it to the dad.
Its not miyagi it's never miyagi
Just wish it was still on Netflix , can’t find it anywhere without cable
Try Peacock, or Tubi.
This isn't a counselors office, these two wanted a diagnosis and they got one. They can go somewhere else if they want.
He diagnosed the karate teacher with herpes. Good stuff!
How to destroy marriage in a minute
The question is why did the guy even tell his wife, if he knew he was the one who did it?
"crotch rot" 😂
The patient is having an allergic reaction to the metal in the wife's wedding ring which is an alloy of nickel, bronze or zinc and not pure gold. You can see the metal is tarnished and turning color. Pure gold doesn't tarnish.
Destroy marriage speedrun %Any
He was sure it was Myagi the Karate teacher loool
that is correct, grasshopper.
What was he thinking at the end..? "My patient has ringworm!"
"My patient has gold metal poisoning."
Here comes Karate Kai
Damn u Netflix lol
Detective House
I don't understand the logic: "She would only refuse to believe such a well presented lie if you were innocent." But she does refuse to believe it.
He did that to see their reaction.....since both of them were very ok with that toilet seat thing,....One reason is ,that they know who had cheated....it was them, but they werent sure if the other one cheated too,so they went with the toilet seat thing,so they would hide the truth...and since both were hiding the truth...conclusion,both cheated
