I love my top load washer! I know a few ppl who needed to replace their rubber ring on their front load because it started leaking in the front.. top load doesn’t leak

i bought both.... I like my top loader and my wife like front... trade off ...takes up more room and plumbing

even the front load has a mold problem, it's not a big issue for the european. to cope back with the high water bill, the machines are relatively cheaper than top load. in fact, they prefer to wash small load at a time & 6kilos machines are common. moral: it's not the machine, but how u overcome the problems.

Hello, what kind of detergent are you using in your machine? Mold can also be caused by a large amount of detergent used. You only need a 4 pumps max of detergent or 2 tablespoons.

@@Donsappliances I'm using low suds detergent. imo, the softener was the main culprit. it made from animal fats & accumulate with water at the end of cycle.

Why does one versus the other? They are two different wash systems and it should be up to consumers pick what they think suits their needs.
