Han Seoul-Oh yeah I know...but Hollywood should have postponed production until both original kids could have participated, but its cool I only look at the first one as the only one I love and watch anyway. It just would have been nice to see them keep the same family, they had such a great chemistry that was never seen again using the other kids sadly
thewizboy Money and momentum. The same reason why the sequel to Creed is moving forward without Ryan Cogler directing. Gotta capitalize on the heat the property has before people focus on something else.
Never ever watch Nothing But Trouble. It had Chevy Chase, John Candy, Demi Moore, and Dan Aykroyd, and 15 minutes in I wanted to turn off my tv. :/ I had the assumption that Aykroyd was great, but a lot of movies with him are pretty mediocre. My thoughts.
TopGunPaintballer Hey I loved that movie growing up! As a kid, you tend to love the funhouse type of kooky comedies like NBT. Aykroyd as the old judge was hysterical.
@@1TopGunPaintballer i never got aykroyd either. He's like jim carrey. Unfunny. Plus, I can act funny as jim carrey if being cartoony was considered funny. To me, it's obnoxious. The way little bratty kids are.
Mr. Mayhem The 25-year-old people in my neck of the woods are fat and look quite old. Dana looks like a fit college student. Maybe the 20-somethings are more youthful where you are. :)
I love all the Vacation movies, because they all have hilarious moments... I have a soft spot for Euro Vacation, which is the one I've watched the most... Chevy Chase is one of my favourite comedy actors, as there's something strangely wacky about his personality... I will be watching all the movies again soon.
I just wanted Christie Brinkley back as the hot girl in the Ferrari for the new movie since she's still hotter than women half her age, but they went and replaced her with some random blonde.
WOW! I am an 80's kid, and this was my favorite movie back then. I HUGE part of my childhood that I will never forget. I also removing having a MASSIVE crush on Audrey and thought she was the most beautiful cutest girl on earth. She had to be my first boyhood crush!😍. Too bad they don't make movies like this anymore. Makes me miss the 80's even more. ❤
I'm the same age as the kids. I was SO in love with Dana back when this movie came out-- and now I'm in love with her again. Man she's friggin BEAUTIFUL!
This was, and still is, one of my all-time favorite movies ever made. I was born in 1983 and it was a huge part of my childhood because it was always playing on HBO and Cinemax. Christmas Vacation was also a favorite. My parents have owned an advertising agency my entire life and I have a picture of my mom dancing with John Candy at a TV station promotion in Scranton, PA from 1994. Greats like him and Harold Ramis will never be forgotten. Those two were also in another favorite movie of mine, Speed Zone (Cannonball Run III).
My fav movie of all time. I've watched it 100's of times. Oh yes, a new Vacation movie with the original cast (or as many as you can get). YES PLEASE! Some are no longer with us. Make one before we lose some more!
Sometimes when I clean house I have this movie on. Actually I love Caddy Shack and so many others. I miss John Candy and Dana Hill so much. These movies bring back so many funny memories and I thank them for it. I always will.
Clear affection still between Chevy and Beverly which is nice to see. Watched the movie for the first time in years - someone reminded me about it after we did a Route 66 trip. I just praise the lord that Chevy Chase wasn't driving lol...
*Much respect to the sorely missed man himself, Harold Ramis (1944-2014)* Writer (_Animal House_, _Ghostbusters_, et al.) Director (_Caddyshack_, _Vacation_, _Groundhog's Day_) Actor, best known as Egon, hands down the most beloved Ghostbuster of them all. The only good thing I can say in regards to his death is that he won't have to suffer through the inevitably horrible 2016 Feminazified Ghostbusters Rehash.
you know this was the first movie I watched when my family finally got cable-yes we were the last ones to get HBO and Showtime on the block. I love this movie and still get excited when it is on TV. Great times the 80's were!
thepermman If people wear sunscreen everyday and take care of there health no alcohol or smoking and getting facials/skin care treatments every 2 weeks that takes OFF YEARS from the skin and at the end you WILL look younger and getting a facelift around late 40s will look more natrual at the end when your older instead of getting it once your over 50 thats when it starts to look fake a.f
I wish they would do another National Lampoon's Vacation movie with the original cast, that would be SO cool, and Beverly D' Angelo still looks hot now, simply gorgeous. :)
I love watching this movie to this day, I catch myself having old school days and watching Vacation, European Vacation, Christmas Vacation and Vegas Vacation. To me The Chevy Chase National Lampoon's are the best to me but, I always wondered why they had different kids in every movie and Christmas Vacation had Audrey as the oldest and Rust as the youngest? And Beverley is still beautiful, I had a crush on her back in the days lol.
i fancied dana back then (i was a kid lol) and man i still fancy her now shes a babe.. great to see them all together but hate to see them getting so old one of the best comedy movies of the time
We're all on that Conveyor belt of life. Headed towards THE END. You can't change places with anyone or buy your way towards the back. You just have to take it. With Dignity. Make it Good. Make it Memorable.
Besides Vegas vacation this is my favorite and when I met Chevy chase was by far the best day ever because I was golfing and he was staying at a hotel on the course, where he came out and talk to me and my cousin.
So hilarious when I first saw this movie, and of course, XMas Vacation (European was okay, but not quite as spontaneous). RIP Mr. Candy...you were such a ham in your cameo, which is why we still love you.
Great Great time to be a teenager....ALL the great movies late 70's to mid 80's...Wonderful....and omg...That Dana Barron looks soooo hot! Who would have thought then???
Now in this vid, I can see where the kids and their friends have been telling me I look like Chevy Chase. With the exception of being a bit darker. There are movies that come on television, that you don't turn off, but keep watching. time and time again. This is one of them.
I had heard they have the script for another movie all set to be on a cruise ship. Cousin Eddie falls off the ship and lands up on a deserted island. Or something of the sort. They are brilliant actors, the writer is a warped genius. I love Christmas vacation Its a family tradition every Christmas! "go get the rubber sheets, and the gerbals' lol
Unfortunately, that most likely not to but there is a reboot on the way for next year which will have a new actor playing Rusty taking his family to Wally World (basically the first film all over again).

Damn, Dana (Audrey) looks hot
***** I bet he would agree
Is that Linda Blair ?
Beverly doesn't age. Still hot
Bev D' Angelo can still get it though 😉
so does Beverly D'Angelo....her and Dana looks like sisters now...
love this movie. it's a classic
RIP John Candy and Harold Ramis.
RIP Harold Ramis, John Hughes, and John Candy.
Will Scarlett They were geniuses.
+Will Scarlett don't forget Imogene Coca
Fanik10
Very true.
Will Scarlett 3 guys who scream 80s as much as the movies theyre responsible for or were in.
And Randy Quaid's sanity.
One of my top ten films ever!! No arguments please, an absolute classic.
God bless these great actors ! Wouldn't have been the 80's without them for sure !!
Why they didn't just use Anthony Michael Hall and Dana Barron in the new Vacation is beyond me.
+Han Seoul-Oh I agree, its because Hollywood are a bunch of stupid Morons....they should have all been used for the European Vacation
+thewizboy European Vacation was because Anthony Michael Hall was doing Weird Science and did want to wait.

I agree
Chevy is among an elite few in history who can do REAL comedy on the fly. He's amongst the best ever!

Awwww Beverly is such a motherly figure toward the rest of the cast in the interview outside of her performance, she's such a sweetheart.
She looks terrific doesn’t she? I agree with you. This was one of my favorite movies still is
Beverly and Dana still smoking hot!
+Phuck Ewe I seldom go for blondes, but yeh I can see why she was a supermodel. She was a poster American blonde.
I wish they would make another one with Chevy Chase and Beverly D. As grandparents.!!!!!! I think they could prolly come up with some funny stuff!
Joluvslilhorses why oh why did your wish come true?
@@gwyngriffiths846 the comment was before that movie came out.
Audrey is still super hot. Damn
She was hot then also
audrey u hotness my lord
Is that linda Blair?
@@lv999sozkyy4 Not even close. We were young when she was and her age now.
I wish I could just shake Chevy chase hand. The laugh he made come out of me came from my soul. Thank you.
rip Harold Ramis.....we loved all your stuff...but this is my favorite movie you directed. I am so like Chevy was in the 80's.....I loved this movie.
Dana doesn't look a day over 25. Incredible that she's pushing 50. She's doing something right! :)
Yeah, she hasn't had a stressful Hollywood career...........
I think " a day over 25" is pushing it a little. A day over 40 seems more appropriate.
Mr. Mayhem The 25-year-old people in my neck of the woods are fat and look quite old. Dana looks like a fit college student. Maybe the 20-somethings are more youthful where you are. :)
It's called plastic surgery and make up..it's amazing what they can do these days
Sir John Lennon I don't think she ever had plastic surgery. She looks natural, might be one of the people who does age gracefully.
My family has watched Christmas Vacation each holiday season ever since it has ever come out. Classic movie, thanks guys for making it!
I love all the Vacation movies, because they all have hilarious moments... I have a soft spot for Euro Vacation, which is the one I've watched the most... " the moose out front should of told you"
may God rest your soul John Candy
I've seen this movie a million times and I still just laughed out loud at the clips, such a classic!
I have told you a million times not to exaggerate!
Oh man it's so good to see you all together again! One of my favorite movies of the 80s. Dana's a beautiful woman, wow! = )
Dana is Still HOT!😮
Yes another Vacation movie would be awesome!!! I've seen them all time and again and still laugh like crazy!!!
I don't care if she is 63, thumbs up for another Beverly D'Angelo shower scene in the 5th Vacation movie!
John Wilburn I want to say Dana in the shower.
***** no, she looks like every other old hollywood star....plastic
I just wanted Christie Brinkley back as the hot girl in the Ferrari for the new movie since she's still hotter than women half her age, but they went and replaced her with some random blonde.
John Wilburn bah bah bah bah bah bah bah!
Anthony Michael Hall make being a geek cool in The Breakfast Club,Sixteen Candles and Weird Science.....
weird science was excellent :)
***** I second that
He was good as a jock in Edward Scissorhands and Johnny B Goode.
WOW! I am an 80's kid, and this was my favorite movie back then. I HUGE part of my childhood that I will never forget. the best Chevy Chase movie ever
I don't know. I really loved the Christmas Vacation more... but this one's still funny as hell :)
Christmas Vacation had the squirrel and elaine from seinfeld getting attacked by both a squirrel and a pitbull
raccoon681 Rottweiler
"the best Chevy Chase movie ever" Well if you haven't seen Fletch, see it.
Fletch was pretty hilarious as well.
I don't care how old they are.
I would love to see another Vacation movie with these guys.
They just rock!
George Vreeland Hill
Beverly D' Angelo is just rambling and Chevy "No, I did it for the Greeks and the Chinese" lol
I'm the same age as the kids. I was SO in love with Dana back when this movie came out-- and now I'm in love with her again. Man she's friggin BEAUTIFUL!

My fav movie of all time. I've watched it 100's of times. Oh yes, a new Vacation movie with the original cast (or as many as you can get). YES PLEASE! Some are no longer with us. Make one before we lose some more!

Dana still looks great, she kept her original look that's wonderful
The lady that played Audrey still looks so young. Good for her.

the first movie was my favorite but I also loved the European vacation and Christmas vacation. Classics.
How about Vegas vacation and Christmas vacation 2?
Christmas Vacation 2?
John Wilburn "Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure." Suckiest suckfest that ever sucked.

I'd do Beverly D'Angelo. Wrinkles and all. Goodness gracious!
She has a pretty good surgeon. You see celebrities get facelifts and not look good anymore, but it worked out for her.

GREAT video. Thanks for 'catching up' with them.

i love all of them!.... Chevy Chase is my comedic hero.
Movie is the best of the series with CHRISTMAS VACATION coming in a close second!!
There are actually 5 actors that played Rusty. You forgot about the movie short made in 2010 called "Hotel Hell Vacation." :)
i fancied dana back then (i was a kid lol) and man i still fancy her now shes a babe..
great to see them all together but hate to see them getting so old
one of the best comedy movies of the time

Well at least he was nice then...
just rewatched this for the millionth time forever part of my childhood and life
Dana is SMOKIN
It's cool how they got them all back together after 30 years and they have changed a lot and every body still loves them.
Beverly and Dana = WOWOWOWOWOW !! Still gorgeous !!!
R.I.P Danna Hill, Audry of European Vacation, she was my favorite.
That is a movie to remember, LOL!!!...National Lampoon's Vacation is a Classic.

This reunion needs to be an hour long....they bring back such great memories.
Classic! Randy Quaid "cousin Eddie" my favorite!
Wow is Dana Barron gorgeous! 50+ years old and simply stunning.
Well, 50 years old THIS year (like me). This was done 4 years ago.... so, around 46 years in the video?
But yeah, total babe :)
She's 52 now.
Funny you said that cause I was just thinking about that the other day right after I saw them in that Old Navy Commercial.
I hope they are gonna make a new movie together again :) I really loved them.
Unfortunately, that most likely not to but there is a reboot on the way for next year which will have a new actor playing Rusty taking his family to Wally World (basically the first film all over again).
That might be annoying, it's the whole crew, or not the whole crew. The movie called : The Mask was only good when the role of Stanley/Mask was performed by Jim Carrey. I think they are a dynamic group of people, They should stay together making the Vacation movies as long they want.
Newwaver2007 I think the one who played the daughter sadly past away
Mistr Dee
ow man :(
Newwaver2007 Wait nevermind, it was the other daughter actress, her name was Dana too, but with a different last name
I still watch "Vacation" every summer and "Christmas Vacation" every December. They are classics. Not so much for European or Vegas Vacation.
Wow I was 8whn I saw this now I'm 21 gotta love chevy chase
I just saw this movie on AMC. It's a classic.
I LAUGHED A MILLION TIMES BECAUSE OF YOU
As far as I am concerned, Chevy Chase deserved an Oscar for vacation. In real life he hates roller coasters yet he had to sell the idea that he was desperate to ride some of the craziest and biggest coasters in the country at the time. If that isn’t next level acting, I don’t know what is.
