Extremely Hazy day in Newcastle

  • Hello everyone!
    Here is another throwback to about couple of months ago, departing from Newcastle on a very hazy day, you will not see how hazy it gets until climbing above 2000ish ft.

    Newcastle (NCL) used be my home airport before I moved to Canada. I go back regularly and in about 25 landings there 22 have been very bumpy particularly when we land coming in from over the North sea.

    Vintage indeed .. the famous slanted horizon makes a comeback :-) Nice video which also illustrates well how much better the new camera placement works
