Once you get above around 55-60ft from ground ,ull get less ground reflection and improved Line of Sight from my tests 👍 Ssb seems the dxers choice in UK ,FM mode for local comms. Been trying out new fm+ctcss sub tones for quieter channels. Uk cb mainly FM mode ,glad your having fun enjoyed the vid 73's Rob.P

Hell yeah!!!
I just put up a sirio gpe 27 on a 20 foot pole. I have my electric pole 100' away from it. It's so noisy I don't know what to do!! Great video
I am using the same antenna and love it, but I had to find the "sweet spot" so I could hear.
MFJ-1026 will remove your noise.
Look up one or two of the 20-30 RUclips videos about it, showing it performing.
So this guy put a bearcat CB into an old Craig cabinet? Love it
Question, did you use just a regular walkie talkie? Will any walkie do the trick to find no static around the house?
Any CB handheld will work.
Nice!
