- I'm sure we all remember American Dragon Jake Long, or even if you haven't seen it, at least know what it is. An iconic show from the mid-2000's Disney Channel Era where we had fun action adventures like Kim Possible. And it also works as one of those "Teen hero drama" stories I absolutely love and make some of my favorite media. But I feel like unlike so many other shows of the same era, that American Dragon hasn't had that same level of impact or love as many of those shows and that it doesn't have an active fanbase. And I wonder why is that? Is there a reason why this show feels so swept asides in time? So I'm going to go through the entire series and analyze the elements it has to see if its worth remembering. I"m going through both its seasons and some of its more noteworthy episodes, characters, story arcs, animations, controversial artstyle shift, crossovers, and everything. Hope you enjoy and maybe see something unique and charming in this old series.

Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken hit N°1 spot for most watched movie on US Netflix, but has recently been lowered to 2nd spot.
I'm 100% sure that this should get reboot.
Also yeah, i finished yours full video as I'm really ( devasted) for it's sequel. It should have some lore , bigger story than just this. I personally liked S2 alot. As Jake's dragon form and human form. The animation wasn't that perfect but it's 2005. I wish Jerf Goode could come back and get us ADJL back.

My personal understanding of the huntsman clan was they were all hunters that hunted dragons and magical creatures and if I remember right the huntsman verbally hinted that.
This was my show, my favorite character/childhood crush was Professor Rotwood. I even created an OC that was a succubus who was posing as a teacher's assistant and I shipped her with him. I even got jelly the first time I saw that episode where Jake and Rose go into the memory dream and it showed him with that frau girl. 😂😂😂😂

Actually, I liked stylizeon, even Jake was better with a long body. But yes, I agree, human face on dragon wasn't a good one, and Jake could have gotten a bit bigger torso, his slender body made his wings kinda out of place.
Tbh, I did not know I missed the last episode... I went back to watch it.... I think it was mistake. It wasn't a big show for me, but the end felt kinda unique, and it was a good show... But that last episode felt like a forced happy ending.... But well, that's what it is...

Well, the aicent war not a bad idea, and your art was really great. However, I would change up a bit, because the deal feels very one sided... I can't fully call back everything, so correct me where I'm wrong.
In aicent times, there were many creatures; bugs, fishes, monkeies, and monsters, any kind of beings. Of course, they were primitive, simple. As evolution went on, more complex things appeared; more modern monsters and humans. Their relation was changing, some lived in harmony, some seemed one an other as savior, some looked the other as a treat... But one day, the Dark Dragon emerged... Nobody know, where from... Using human technology and mystical arts, he was the force of nature, aiming for dominance. He destroyed most of magical creatures, as he saw a bigger treat in them, hunting some to extinction, some near it... When he finaly got sealed away, humans started to fear magical creatures, killing every and each in sight, decreasing their noumber even more... Dragons, being the whises, decided this should not remain... Using their shapeshifting power, they started influence both word, asking magical creatures to live hidden in exchange to their protection, and telling humans mistical creatures are no more, later on saying they never been more than legends.
This would explain, why they are hiding, why is the Dark dragon a treat, why the two words co-exist without knowing about each other, and the Hunters' clan don't have to be more than the peaple who are eithet inherrited the tradition of monster hunting, from their antsestors who did not belived mystic creatures dissapeared, or symply peaple, who do it for fun because there's no such thing....
God this show a 29 year old girl at day support so obsessed with Jake long its creepy
