He has built an entire career on record amounts of fouls and PED busts, and beating old middleweights. Big names, but names don't define who wins a fight. Accolades don't define who wins a fight. Stats, age, size, and skill does. That's why despite being one of the least accomplished opponents he ever fought, Reyes gave him a clear beating.
Jon doesn't have the tools to beat Tom. He's not strong or good enough to wrestle him. He's not a tenth as good on the feet. He's half as fast. He doesn't have a hundredth of the power. Basically all he has on Tom is cardio (possibly), reach, and endless fouls. It won't be enough.
Honestly, I think Arlovski had the superior striking game. Tom knew it too, which is why he took it down for the submission. It completely surprised Andrei, he wasn't ready for it.
I never even knew this ever happened
Arlovski absoloutely ate that barrage of punches in the first round every one of them made crazy noise. What a champ. Tom tho looks insane at heavyweight
Who’s here after Tom knocked out Curtis
If you can't knock out arlovski you ain't knocking out Jones
Lmao you don't think he couldn't have knocked out Arlovski too if that's what he was going for in the 2nd round?
@@calebhu6383 He literally tried to knock out arlovski in the first round and unloaded his gas tank that's why he went with the sub
@@MMABetviper And you think he had the energy to sub him in under a minute but not the energy to knock him out, or ground and pound him out once he was on the ground? Stop tweaking
@@calebhu6383 Subbing someone has nothing to do with the capability of knocking someone out. Strength and power are different things
This is Tom's only championship level opponent. The rest of them have never been champions. Tom desperately needs a relevant fight but it's not at Jones's level yet.
You can't become a champion if the champion is holding up the division.
Who did Jon fight to earn his title shot, Ryan Bader? Who has Jon beat at HW?
If he won't fight the no 1 contender now he has to vacate.
It's not the Ultimate beating whoever you cherry pick in lower weight classes championships. That doesn't earn you a belt. Cleaning out the division does. Tom's basically run out of challengers. JJ needs to vacate he's ruining the division.
No way he beats ngannou, the difference in strength and punching power is enormous
Lmao you are a clueless casual. Tom is better than Ngannou everywhere. Speed, IQ, technical ability, and timing are more important than strength. Stop talking because you don't watch mma obviously
@@forwardmoving8252 what was your take on Ngannou vs Gane?
Honestly you have no clue mate, even IF tom could best ngannou now (which I believe he could) he will definitely be able to beat him with a few more years experience. Either way Toms skill ceiling will insure him victory one day.
@@forwardmoving8252 you don't watch mma cause u just made a 🤡 comment 🤦
@@-GS- 😂😂😂 trading punches with francis is a death wish
Francis knocked him out in 3 min. Tom couldn’t stand w Francis. He knows it. That’s a bigger fight that jones for him. He would never call him out tho lol
Yeah, Tom wouldn't beat Jones for shit💯😅
Tom Aspinall is a Ip Man Version because of his speed Punches of his opponents.
😂😂😂 Aspinall is not beating Jones
What the fuck you laughing about
fear or respect...I've never seen anyone back up Arlovski so consistently.
Andre tapped very quickly there. I would have liked to see him give a little more effort to get out of that choke.
hey bro yeahhh true
Tom’s chokes are absolutely brutal.
That was fully locked in, you have 3 seconds before you pass out from a fully locked in choke lol, not sure what you were expecting him to do.
He was fully locked in, there was no possibility of escaping. Any longer and he would have passed out.
have you ever been choked by a heavyweight MMA fighter lol
How do aspinal fans over rate this guy man #1) he throws 30 wild punches and only lands 3 and gets all gassed out and holds on for dear life 😂 Jon Jones shouldn't avoid this Kid and expose him so his fans can stop talking so much already 😊😊😊
I like them both but Jon Jones is a Real Bone breaking Ninja 🥷 Warrior, very dangerous in that octagon....
Jones is scared to fight tom , even old man stipe touched him up a few times.
@@jason-gf8dgtom is just a British hype
You realize Jones was getting touched up by Stipe right. If Stipe landed around 30 hits on Jones, what the heck do you think happens when Tom touches him.
Y’all think this dude can beat Jon Jones lol 😂
He would, which is why Jones refuses to fight him. 🤣
Yup, and Jones knew it.
Jon would weather the storm early first round and strategically break this dude apart
lol hyped. Jon just need a take down and slow him down a for round.
Yes and Jones knows it he literally admitted it
Just came to see the hype. He cannot beat Jon Jones!
Let’s see how well this ages 😏
Rest in peace Pavlovich
)))
This is the guy yall say Jon is scared of???
Tuivasa gonna knock him out if he tries to exchange with him
Lmfaoooooo
🤡 moment
Nope
tuivasa got handled by spivak and 2019 jds
Tuivasa sucks lmao. He isn't beating anyone else in the top 5. Lewis was the only guy he could beat. Tom would smoke him so easily it's not even funny
I haven't watched this yet. On seeing the videos length of 8:55, I'm going to assume 8 minutes of this are them trying to awaken Arlovski.
There is no way he could beat jon jones
People can evolve over the years .. but I think he has not a good options if he faces Jon now... but we never know
i agree fighting IQ of jon jones is insanely phenomenal when underpressure jones knows to finish it in sec
Yeah dude i keep trying to say this. What he can do is knock jon tf out tho. He so fast if he caught jon with one of them fast straights. Ouch. That said, overall if the fight went the way we know it will.. jon outlasts Tom with wrestling and some striking. He would have to make Tom worry about the take downs tho
@aoseman90 i would bet jones will knock tf out aspinal by spinning elbow. but if aspinal can match jones " speed and figthing IQ" then i would say he got the chance dethrone BONES
@@chotpalosbatangcancaloo2344 aspinall is way faster. And lighter on the feet. Jon is the far more experienced fighter. You can't buy/teach experience. You earn it.
Andrei has given Tom his toughest challenge and the only fighter to escape the first round.
Jones can beat him too
Aspinall is a bum, Jones would wipe the floor with him..
Why is Jon Jones ducking him
Jon Jones isn’t “ducking” him. That would indicate fear. He’s Jon Jones, he’s greater than, why bow to a peasant..
I don’t think people realize how fucking GOOD Jones is. I’ve been saying it for years, everyone looks good until they face Jon Jones.
@@omarmilton1521 Tom Aspinall has a very short reach as well
Tom Aspinall is a good guy but I don't think he's can be as good as Fedor or Jones as they are psychopaths lo fedor
I’ve heard people talk about this fight like arvloski had it in his favor for a moment. But no that was 100% a performance in toms favor and a beautiful one another finish
I have seen enough, he doesnt beat Jones.
Can’t beat what you can’t fight..
Why does Tom look shorter in this fight?
I really think Tom will absolutely destroy Jon Jones.
Jon is going to have a field day with taking him down when ever he gets pressed he leans backwards and Jon is just going to wrestle him down. And the way tom was looking tired after the first Jesus good luck hahahahaha.
Not impressed
Stick to video games!! 😊
@ he legit struggled against arlovski and people think he’ll beat jones lmao
@@par32My dude, he had the more strikes and more significant strikes and only needed one takedown for a finish. That’s not struggling, Arlovski just lasted longer than everyone else Tom fought. That’s not a flex my guy 😂
@@jevonhilton2012 arlovski is 90
@@par32 And Stipe is in an even worst position by your logic. Hasn’t won in four years and was inactive. Arlovski for the most part was a lot more active. If someone like Stipe who’s way past his prime was able to touch Jon, what do heck do you think is gonna happen when an even bigger boxer touches him. Mind you, Tom has taken a good bit of shots from some powerful hitters. Jon has yet to face that. At HW, that matters.
Arlovski Has Got To Be 60 Years Old Lmao.
😮
Tom Aspinall is not beating Jon Jones.
Tom will be champ soon and will stay champ for awhile
🇬🇧🔥
Tom is simply better than anyone at heavyweight RIGHT NOW and it shows. Also his speed, is welterweight / Brock Lesnar-esque
Brock never had hand speed
