Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, Joel Kinnaman and David Dastmalchian (aka Harley Quinn, Bloodsport, Rick Flag and Polka-Dot Man) join BBC Radio 1's film critic Ali Plumb to talk about the latest DC Comics super-villain movie, The Suicide Squad. They reveal their most surreal moments on set, the challenges of fighting with a giant toothpick, and what it was like seeing John Cena in his underpants. This movie should be released only in theaters at least for few weeks as HBO max is open piracy. As I watched Godzilla vs Kong for free in my country on the first day of release. My country is in Asia and we don't have HBO max.

Yeah, she's a perfect Harley Quinn but Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey were really mediocre, so I'm glad she's having another chance with this movie.

I didn't expect I would worry about some characters during the progression of the film. Ratcatcher 2, Rick Flag, Bloodsport - they really got me!
James Gunn put so much heart into every character. Like you said, even the ones you didn't expect to care for. I think the biggest surprise for me was Ratcatcher 2, just adored her character, and her flashback scene at the end had me in tears of joy. So many people are missing out on this incredible movie. I can't even decide which character I liked the best. They were all just fantastic.
@@buffnipz yes, Ratcatcher 2 was absolutely great - such a wholesome character! And Gunn even managed to make King Shark adorable!

to see him from the bit part in The Dark Knight to a scene-stealing supporting role in the Ant-Man movies and now to THIS, where he actually is playing one of the two characters destined to run away with this movie..is very aspiring..and inspiring.

One thing I've always loved about both movies is the relationship between Harley and Rick.
After watching the Olympics I’m crossing my fingers that we will see Harley use more of her high level gymnastics skills in this movie and in the future, in both combat and in moving around obstacles in a mix of gymnastics and parkour.

Idris Elba and Joel Kinnaman are just so gorgeous but Idris is, on top of that, extremely charming. I could listen to him talk for hours.
I feel like I’ve seen every interview of these cast and I just love how they seem joyful of acting as these DC characters and the amount of fun with humor they had together.. which makes us more eager to watch the movie! Also the interviewer is lovely as always when the actors! I can’t wait for the movie to come out in Egypt!!!

Guys, I know this is yet to open in some places but I went to see it today, and I gotta tell you, you're going to fucking love it!! Great story, great characters, great action ( very well shot) funny, with a surprising(even for Mr Gunn) amount of heart, it's ace. My Mrs always gets me a couple of movie's on blue ray for Christmas and before I even said owt she just said ' that's one of your presents sorted' haha can't wait to see it again!! Btw another top interview by Ali, well done mate👍

I feel I'm already half way there to my Polka-Dot Man Halloween Costume - given my rash! (Great Interviews as always! Eventhough Ratcatcher 2 and King Shark were my other fav characters from the film, alongside Harley Quinn, Bloodsport and Polka-Dot Man! ... I could try King Shark cosplay for Halloween, given I have no friends .. or Ratcatcher 2 considering I'm always asleep!)
One of the most fun and entertaining movies i've seen in a long time, like it so much that i'm going back friday for a second time. An absolute go see movie 👍.

This girl is thw daughter of Lady Shiva and David(i think thats her father's name). Both parents assasins/dad a sniper.
I loved black canary tho. They did gwt something right( in the comics after Black Canary got her ability and was apart of something else before she joined the league she sang, and then she joined the birds of prey after) however, she only used her ability onced(which was cool) but why did she pass out when those who have read the comics knows she had experience using it??
Plus the fact that Margot coyldnt maintain the Harley voice and BOP isnt her team its batgirl's she just joined later.
I do like the movie, it isnt garbage( but TBVH it reeeeally is considered a garbage movie when we know these character's origin and how TBOP were formed)
