I can't believe how beautiful the VP looks! I'm so happy you got to keep your original pen! That celebration ink is such a great match! I love the Furore!

WOW! I am so impressed that they were able to remove that scratch! That's amazing. I'm so glad they fixed it for you. The Furore Ginger is absolutely beautiful. I feel like I'm falling deeper in love with Italian pens each time I get a new one. Enjoy!

So glad they were able to get the scratch out! Thanks for the comparison. I have the Petrified Forest and have been eyeballing the Furore Ginger but was afraid they were the same resins. 🙂

I was wondering whether it was the same as well but a friend thankfully helped me out. While they are similar, there is enough difference between the two resins that I had to have them both!

I bought the Furore Ginger with a CSI fine nib for the exact same reason that you mentioned here. I also already had the Estie Petrified Forest, but still wanted that Furore with that beautiful resin 😃Thanks for the video. I am not alone 🤣

Oh nice! I’ve been admiring both pens, and thought it was the same resin. Thank you for comparing the Leo with the Estie Petrified Forest.

I thought it was the same resin too and thought it would be too similar but someone on Instagram told me it was the same as Cola, and I've seen Cola and Petrified Forest together and it was enough of a difference for me to get it.

I use the blind cap very occasionally to express a bit more ink to prime the nib and feed if needed. However Leonardo feeds and nibs only very very rarely act stingy with ink, so the blind cap gets used not very often indeed.

That's an excellent use for it! I'll have to remember that in the future.

Whenever I'm inking up an a pen with orange-ish resin I like to use Monteverde Mandarin Orange, perhaps you'd enjoy that ink. A little off topic, I recently put my BENU Venus's Hair Talisman back in rotation and I was wondering, do you still have yours? P.S. Lucy needs a little bit of screen time. 🙂🐕

I've never tried Monteverde Mandarin Orange - I'll have to add it to my list! And no, I no longer have my Benu Talisman - I did end up selling it a few months ago. I'll see what I can do to convince Lucy to come on camera!

It is a shellac manicure from my salon! It is a lighter brown polish with a magenta chrome finish!
