    In the summer I saw a video on the channel of a tourist from America who arrived at Vnukovo. His cards were not accepted for payment either. A young couple took him to the metro. They paid for his passage on the metro. He got to his station, I think VDNKh. There they helped him find the apartment he had rented. And in the morning a courier brought him a card from T-bank. He really liked Moscow. And then he went to Kyiv. There are many videos on his channel dedicated to traveling.

    Greetings to new Muscovites from neighbors. Don't be surprised by the cheapness of mobile services in Russia. MTS has even more favorable tariffs. We use a family tariff and for the same money (about 16 euros) we have 5 SIM cards with unlimited Internet and 500 minutes of calls per month + home Internet at a speed of 1000 Gbps + one digital TV set-top box for 300 channels. Then you can slowly figure it out and switch to these tariffs. You are great, you listened to the advice of viewers of your channel and started wearing a hat. Otherwise, it is very easy to catch a cold in the frontal sinuses in the cold and get sinusitis. Take care of yourself and good luck to you in Russia.
    The great Russian commander Barclay de Tolly was a native of Scotland and Pushkin dedicated his poems to him:
    The storm of the twelfth year
    Has come - who helped us here?
    The fury of the people,
    Barclay, winter or the Russian god?
    So the Russian god will now help your family too.

      Yes. I would have been much more cautious. However, in my case I have a close Russian friend who has used these guys many times for huge sums of money. I went in knowing that unless they decided to turn into scammers over night, then everything was going to go as planned, and it did.
      You make a VERY important point that people should be cautious. In hindsight it would have been more prudent of me to add a clear warning that these services can be scams and go very wrong. Truthfully, I didn't know at the time (but that is a shallow excuse, because I certainly could have guessed) that this service is being scammed so much.

    ухо режет слово "партнер"... если бы разговор шел о бизнесе, то это нормально, но в отношении любимой женщины это не по русски как то... возможно в английском это слово имеет другое значение чем в русском или это связано с переводом? в любом случае, даже если вы не состоите в браке официально, то можно применить термин "жена", поскольку вы живете семейной жизнью... вашему "партнеру" будет приятнее если вы будете называть её "любимая"... и даже грубо-сексистское "моя женщина" будет по русски гораздо благозвучнее чем "партнер" 😀

      @@NonWokeBloke I understand. To a certain extent we have this stupid woke'ism infection in my country also. Anyway, as a person who was born in a Soviet ocupied country and had my parents represed by the Soviet secret services (both for not being enough "homo sovieticus"), also my granparents were exiled to Syberia (luckily they were allowed to return after Stalins death), I would advise to reconsider. The label of the country may have changed, but the same type of people still run their country. Just be careful there, especially with what you speak publically. Good luck!

    • @NonWokeBloke
      @NonWokeBloke  День назад

      It's all a fair criticism and you speak from a position of authority. I promise to walk cautiously through my experience here. I would argue that communism is the same infection that woke-ism is. The only difference is they are using minorities or disenfranchised groups instead of workers this time. The narrative is the same. Bad there, good here. If it wasn't for those people keeping you down then you would flourish. We need the power to change it all on your behalf. We need to silence people who disagree with us. Anything can be justified against the individual for the sake of the group and the preservation of the ideological belief.
      So you see, I actually feel like I am running away from a similar mind-virus that your grandparents almost paid with their lives.
