Mine (15-3552) was neither exactly the same but first I disabled security boot, then enabled legacy boot and that's when the boot preferences showed up (not before). I was able to choose USB boot as the 1st one and then everything went fine.

I followed everything up to 3:25. But at that point I don't have "USB Storage Device" in the list, only "Network" and "Hard Drive". Any ideas?

Thanks ! Unfortunately neither F2 nor F12 works on mine - neither interrupts the load sequence - and it goes straight into Windows. I tries a couple of dozen times.

That's mean either your USB did not write correctly(MBR Or GTP) depends on how you created your USB. Or the USB Port might be faulty. Check one by one.
