New videos every Friday!
Aldi's and the laundromat: Ya better have quarters!
Or a reusable shopping bag.
And bubblegum machines.
If you’re lucky, some poor shmuck will leave their quarter in the cart, and you get to leave with a free quarter.
😂
Count me in the legions of washing machine owners that keeps a quarter in my sun visor clip!
“It’s the most important meal of the gay.” - Me before devouring my brunch.
I'm loving the Kevin and Jared show 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Cackling 😂😂😂😂
I never realised that Jen would say ‘Kevin’ while looking at Kristin. Guess there’s a first for everything.
How about trying vegan food from Aldi? I’m not vegan but my husband and daughter are and finding vegan food that nonvegans like sounds cool! I’m a new subscriber and love watching you!❤❤
EXTREMELY GOOD IDEA
@@kitchenandjornwhat about their gluten free line! It’s called live G Free. My husband eats gluten free along with me and he never complains lol. I have celiac disease so good food is important to me
Ok so I’m dairy soya and gluten intolerant and don’t eat meat…. Does anywhere do decent things that fit that?!?
@@kitchenandjornthe Vegan food from Aldi is sooo good! (Trust me I know, I work there)
Yes please!
The pancakes are my favorite depression food. Like $4 for the pack of 24, microwave a packet for 3mins, boom it's a meal.
Their sadness at the breakfast corn dog being good hurts my soul. Breakfast corn dogs are the best things ever
They missed out with not having syrup. To me they are pretty good but once you get the syrup they are really great.
Wow, the Richard Scarry Busy Town reference was a deep cut. None of my friends remember that show, but I remember it vividly!
"Brie is the Squidward" 😂 and now I'm wheezing, which isn't practical in this economy
When Kristin talked about ADHD same food, I feel that.
I love that y'all laugh together so much
I love watching these while eating lunch 😌
Us too!
When it's closer to the holidays you should do an Aldi's charcuterie video! They always do a big display with different stuff for a fancy fancy charcuterie board.
Having a fragile head day, you all help me feel better, which is no small thing. Thanks for what you do
Hoping life feels lighter for you very soon 💜
The Aldi breakfast croissant sandwiches have been my same food for breakfast for over a year I'm crying
I know it's not within the food tasting oeuvre, but I'd love to see your takes on Aldi's store-brand candles sometime - they have seasonal ones and fairly frequently switch up their stock of them, and the majority are shockingly nice for the price. That being said, there are zero descriptions of the notes on any of them, which makes for a fun process of identifying wtf you're smelling in any given candle. :D
Okay- smelling different candles would be really fun though I imagine would also be a lot 😂😂
the french toast sticks are so good in the airfryer. We used to cook them in the oven when I was a kid. We had them on occasion for a breakfast treat.
The trick for all frozen pre cooked sausages, be it patty or link, is to "cook" them in the skillet. Gives them the fresh cooked texture/flavor. Maybe add a little bacon grease to the pan for some extra pazow!!
You should do a video of Aldi’s gluten free foods. They’re not always easy to find, but some are really good… and most are affordable.
as someone who relies on frozen breakfast food a lot, i needed this video in my life
Did anyone else have to think way too long when Jen called herself Jennifer? 😂
Can you make a video featuring foods you've first tried in your videos and now actually buy for yourselves?
Oooooh like stuff that is our personal shopping lists?
@@kitchenandjornyes! Especially if it’s easy-made, like quick food
@@kitchenandjorn yes, exactly!
Honestly, the best breakfast item they have at Aldi in my opinion is one they only have occasionally but it’s just egg and cheese in half a piece of pita bread and for some reason it’s great. Also, their vegan breakfast sausage patties are really quite good too!
Whenever I see french toast sticks, I think back to being in summer camp almost 20 years ago when they served french toast sticks for lunch one day but I never saw them before and assumed they were chicken fingers. I ate like a whole portion of them plain before someone told me it wasn't chicken 🥴💀
The Kevin and Jorn Show 🌈❤
That's us, baby!
7:53 My Corn Dig brings all the boys to the yard
Yassified Kitchen and Jorn giving us Quuer Joy. Thank you 🌈
I’d like to see an Aldi vs name brand chip blind taste test! Some of them are really similar!
Laughing hysterically at the Friends/Joey reference "I sure do, Kevin!" ("Now I can have milk every day")
It sounded like she said Kebin lmao
Please get an air fryer to make some of these foods! I love these videos. There are definitely foods you vote low because of how mushy, soft or watery it came out from the microwave. Try the air fryer!
They just announced a blueberry breakfast sausage on a stick!!
Burrito that breakfast bowl and you'll have an ultimate winner🎉
Add in the hot sauce, and I'm in
@@chanwinsern8814 no doubt, hot sauce is the maximization that makes the burrito worth doing
Oh hell yeah
Lol, you guys made me laugh so hard I could not stop hiccupping for 20 minutes. Thanks, love u 🤪
The key to the breakfast biscuit sandwhich is taking the pieces apart and heating up the sausage for about 20-30 seconds, flipping it over and then cook all of the pieces separately for 30-45 seconds with the cheese ripped up on top of the egg in smaller pieces, then reassemble the sandwich and microwave it for an additional 30 seconds. This way everything gets heated properly separately and there is some good moisture that helps the biscuit to not be dry. After easting a lot of the sandwiches in different heating procedures, this method gives me the best results. Try it and let me know if it make the sandwich better.
I'm a person who has been diagnosed with ADHD, has to eat a lot of same foods, and loves the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwhiches and has been eating them for 2+ years at this point, not sure what that says about me 😄😆
I was really high when Kristin started singing about the breakfast corn dog and I lost it 😅
I would love to see you try the Aldi gluten free line- live G free. Things like the bread pasta and their baking mixes. They sometimes have special limited time options like frozen pasta or chicken nuggets
Thank you for doing an Aldi video! I don’t have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s within hours of where I live but there’s an Aldi in my town
I’m in Canada so I don’t have an Aldi around (nor do we seem to have the same array of frozen breakfast foods), but wow do I want to try some of these!
We had breakfast corn dogs at school all throughout my life I thought those were a staple for anyone like the breakfast pizza lol
Looove these so much! My day is made
Would you guys ever do a head to head competition between Trader Joe's and Aldi's similar foods?? Comparing the waffles in this video made me think that might be another fun series!
Bruh them aldis french toast sticks were my fav breakfast in my childhood!!!
I dont have an Aldi's near me but I just like to watch y'all try food
This video was really fun bc this stuff is regularly in my kitchen where as I don’t really have a local enough Trader Joe’s or whatever to be worth going to most of the time,, Aldi and lidl are both right right there and I love seeing stuff I have seen in my actual life lol I’ve been dying to see y’all try the various alcohols they have at aldi, it’s all wildly cheap and I have yet to miss with them honestly everything I’ve tried has been great personally! But also totally understand if that’s a bit much, maybe if u did it u would wanna probably separate them into subcategories to not poison yourself for content we don’t want that ☠️☠️☠️
I love watching these videos while eating my meals ❤️❤️
I grew up on Aldi frozen waffles. You're right they are like white bread. You can eat anything with them. My weirdest combo( I was 12) was butter and popcorn cheese( the nacho cheese one) on toasted waffles. I don't remember why I tried them but I ate them often throughout middle school.
FYI I am 27 now so that was literally 15 years ago
You gotta microwave the sausage in a puddle of water and then brown it in a pan! The french toast sticks i like to microwave then throw it in the air fryer, so good!
You just validated my love for their sausage links and cinnamon French toast 😂 Thank you!
I love you guys you guys make my day ❤❤❤❤
Fully agreed that the french toast sticks are a highlight, and that they taste like a cake donut. Specifically the little ones that are typically covered with chocolate or powdered sugar. The double cinnamon are definitely superior to me, the plain beg for some kind of dip but the cinnamon are perfect as is.
My current food fixation is green apples with Smucker's peanut butter. No cooking required, and my dogs love to snack on the apple cores (after seeds have been removed).
I have been watching you guys for YEARS😊 and I never get tired of your dynamic! ❤

2:07 Our local bakery has garlic bread loves that look like this.
breakfast corndogs were my JAM for a long time!!! they’re the best
This week was garbage, I needed this!
i was OBSESSED with the breakfast corndogs when i was a kid and the very few times i could successfully harrass my mom into buying them for me I would eat them so fast I would give myself heartburn 😂
I cackled so hard at Kristen’s corndog song
Always a part of my daily routine during my work lunch break❤️
This is my favorite part of Friday keep doing a great job theydies
You just explained something about my adhd that I didn’t know, the eating something over and over again until it no longer sounds good. I did that with avocado toast with a runny yolk egg. There were days I’d have it for breakfast and dinner. Now I haven’t had it in well over a year.
Hear me out.... the Aldi Winking owl wines that are like $3 a piece. I would watch that on repeat. Lol and honestly they are NOT bad for cheap wine.
what about doing every trader joe's or aldi pizza based item (pizzas, store brand hot pockets, pizza rolls, etc)?
Thumbs up for the breakfast corn dog jingle.
Aldis as these premade meals now available in the fridged section rather than the frozen. Mostly bags of pasta + stuff. Maybe that would be something to try. Or every Aldis chocolate?
I love watching these videos even though I'm from Finland and we don't even have these stores
frenchtoast sticks are life!
Great video! I wish I had an Aldi close because I’d like to try those French Toast sticks
OMG BUSYTOWN!!! I love you for reminding me of this
Now I have to find some sausage and pancake on a stick. I loved those as a kid because they made them for school lunches and breakfast.
My husband and I (9 years!) started dating in summer 2012 over a shared job at our college, with housing provided. We were in cabins near each other, walking distance to the office. I'd make two of those breakfast/pancake-sausage dogs for us every morning and we'd eat them on the walk up the hill together. 😆
kristin’s hair looks soooooooooo goooooooood!!!!
Haha first time I've watched one of these videos where I have had a majority of the items that they are trying such a fun experience 😅 haha love these videos though thank you for doing them!!
Hi Kristen, that lipstick is so cute on you! Thank you for bringing attention to Samefood, I go through that a lot.
We just got an Aldi near me and my mom has fallen in love 🤣🤣🤣 We’ve discovered that they have amazing watermelon.
Aldi is one of those places where things can be a hit or a miss and nothing in-between. There's quite a lot of things I like there but usually their snack foods are absolutely disgusting and so is their meat department. Honestly I'd like to see these two try both of those sections.
now adding: French toast sticks to my grocery list
Okay. I still love y'all. The universe is in order.
We really like the sausage links from Aldi's the frozen waffles are good with a little butter and sugar or with Strawberry cream cheese. Aldi's is fun to shop at. Try thier snack cakes some are better than the Little Debbie versions.
Ok but if you put the breakfast bites on a biscuit the spinach one is so so good
ngl, those waffles are my favorite when I'm not sober but also have no spoons, just add some cherry jam or a little bit of vanilla ice cream
The sausage Patties are pretty good in the air fryer, & they cook really fast.
Breakfast corn dog is the hot new song of the summer!
I got so excited when i saw your video pop up i love friday I wait right next to my phone so i don't miss a thing
I got the sausage biscuit with egg and cheese. They're good!

Try all of the aldi dips! The jarred and refrigerated ones !
The double cinnamon French toast sticks are a staple in my house lol everyone from the baby to the adults lol
I used to eat those all the time as a kid/teen. Never saw the double cinnamon.. saw them here and I was immediately thinking I should go to Aldi.. lol
Kitchen's impromptu corndog song was 🔥
I knew those breakfast corn dogs would be delicious. I always walk past them in the aisle
For quite awhile I would make my own breakfast sandwiches with the sausage patties, and I would very purposefully overcook them to get the crunchy texture because I can't stand the texture of it otherwise
I agree with Kristen on the peppers!! Only for fajitas!!!
The waffles are a delight if you put them in the microwave with butter and syrup after they’re toasted. Definitely not a nutritional winner but oh well
Moral of the Story: Chipotle helps opening up the mind when researching about Aldi’s.
My Aldi has a frozen egg and cheese pita and they're delicious!
i usually hate eating brekafast,,, but if it's the most important meal of the gay, as a homosexual i may have to reconsider.
edit: i think i was the 69th like what an incredible day
You should do Aldi summer seasonal foods!
"Brie's a squidward" got me
i can imagine it so clearly
Breakfast corn dogs were the PEAK school breakfast in the 90s in California lol
I’m surprised they didn’t try the hash browns. Those are one of my go-to Aldi items.
I completely agree with Kristin about bell peppers plus the texture 😵💫
I love bell peppers. I'll just snack on them while cutting them up for recipes.. I usually buy two because I'll end up eating like half of one before it gets into the recipe.. green ones are the best. Red is nice but only cooked in my opinion. Yellow I just never use unless it's a great deal.. don't really care for them.
