I can’t believe you made the video of my tweet suggestion!! This was awesome! Ok, so the way to make the thin crust super crispy and enjoyable. Place both over racks close together. On the lower rack place a large cookie sheet and lay the pizza directly on the rack above. Spin the pizza 180 halfway through cook time to prevent sinking between the racks. Pull the pizza and cookie sheet at the same time using an oven mitt and tongs. Again, great video. Had a blast!
Real talk the fresh pizzas you find in the refrigerator section of Aldi are way better then the frozen ones. They're huge, they crisp up great and they're like $6. You guys should try those too sometime!
as someone who gets the fresh pizzas on a regular basis, i wholeheartedly agree with this comment also i'll have to check out that breakfast pizza next time i go up there...
Ngl ‘Kristin doesn’t cook but she understands how to eat’ is more relatable than you think. I do the exact same thing: Dishing hot takes like there’s no tomorrow.
For my friend it was a cheese burger pizza. First bite was "this is surprisingly good" and by the end of the slice it was love only to sadly never be had again.
I recommend baking directly on the oven rack to get the desired crispness on the crusts. Baking it on a pan, especially with foil, will keep your crust soft.
We actually tried this with the Trader Joe's version of this video video!!! but we ended up setting off the smoke alarm so many times brie wouldn't let us do it again, so, lol
@@chefgirly93 My dad makes the best oven pizzas whenever I visit. He uses a sheet of steel he cut in his shop. His pizza sauce is a pesto made from kale, garlic, oo, and pine nuts. Freshly shredded cheese and a bit of spicy sausage. Perfection.
Based on how Kristen said the other pizza video and the ice cream video made them both "Fart their way to the Sun," How did you guys fare after this pizza video? 😅
It might be too much but could y'all try every Ben and Jerry's flavor? Might help to split it up in non-dairy vs dairy. Also, I'd love if y'all included prices ~ I was wondering if the ones that weren't good were less expensive and vice versa

The FRESH cauliflower crust pizza at Aldi is freaking amazing… it has no place being as good as it is… the frozen cauliflower crust one is shit compared to it
Another Friday lunch at work *vastly* improved by spending it with Kristin and Jen! I have no idea if there is an Aldi's in my state, and I never eat frozen pizza anymore, but now I want that breakfast pizza.
i have the breakfast sausage and cheese pizza for breakfast in the morning sometimes, i make one pizza and slowly eat it thru 3 mornings thru the week before school, call it a meal prep if you will
Thank you for this!!!! I love pizza and enjoy frozen pizza (cause I'm a monster... and single... and don't cook...). I'm excited to try the garlic bread pizza!!!
YES ALDI VID!!! The nearest Trader Joes is like 2 hours away so I never get to try what you get. I'm always so happy when an Aldi video comes out so I can try to find the same things to try. This video came at the perfect time too, i'm grocery shopping tomorrow and now I can add a pitstop to Aldis. I wanna try to find that breakfast pizza. I love breakfast pizza though I usually make my own.
Alright friends, how in the world did you cook those pizzas? How did you get such floppy crust? Did you cook them on a cookie sheet?! Frozen pizza goes directly on the oven grate. If this is news to you, you're welcome. (Not the garlic sticks though, you'll start a fire without a pan under those.)
I always get so excited to see if y’all’s gonna get the item count right and what the editor does with it🤣♥️ 10/10 as always. Love you beautiful humans.
Maybe it’s that I don’t get Frozen Pizzas near me but I never understood their value. Pizza is fun and fresh, not frozen and then defrosted. Then again, you do you.
Pro tip: to get crispy oven pizza crust, preheat your oven with the pan inside. Once preheated, put the pizza on the hot pan and it’ll be crisp at the end! 😗😗
Okay hear me out: the veggie cauliflower pizza (it might be in the fresh section) but omg as a meat eater who generally has regular crust it was absolutely amazing.
I definitely think you should have added the refrigerated pizza to this video. They have a bunch of the n bake options. Also periodically they have a spinach and goat cheese pizza that is delicious!
GRAVY on a PIZZA? I'm gonna have to take some time to process this info while I pause the video for about four hours then rediscover the tab after second dinner and a bowl and get back to it onesec *edit* worth the wait
When you started to wince at the idea of gravy on a pizza I was like OK BUT HOLD ON! 😂 breakfast pizza is my favorite and no matter where you go the general ingredients mixed together are just good. Even if they’re low quality, it’s still SO GOOD
Literally watched till 2:55 on this video, and promptly went to go make pizza (from scratch, because grocery shops are really far away), came back to laptop 2.5hrs later (with pizza) and realised... "oh... I forgot to finish watching the video..."😅
OK. Hear me out. It's off the subject. The weirdest frozen food in Aldi is really good. It's their frozen California Roll sushi. Thaw/cook according to directions and yum. P.S. You guys need a pizza screen. Crisps up your crust and makes all the difference.
Up by us they - very occasionally - have one with ricotta, mozzarella, grana padano, and sauteed mushrooms. To die for. I get it every time they have it, have made copycats at home (sub parm for grana padano) and now that I'm thinking about it I might pick up pizza dough....
Why surprised it's soggy? You've wrapped it in tinfoil! All that condensation! I know it's so you can keep it warm and don't have 15 minutes between each try, but mate, that pizza will be soggy!
I hate the frozen pizzas at ALDIs, but the refrigerated deli ones are AMAZING. The rising crust pizzas are vastly better than the garbage that is the breakfast pizza, once again my views on food is pretty much the exact opposite of this.
There’s a cauliflower crust pizza that’s in the fresh pizza section and I eat it pretty regularly and I’m not even gluten free. I’ve never tried the frozen cauliflower crust pizza, but I highly recommend checking out the refrigerated cauliflower pizza!
They actually have two kinds, but do not have it year round. Any time we see it...we grab it! Our whole family likes it...and that doesn't happen all the time (3 kids).
"I've never seen anybody cook a frozen pizza on a grill" okay wait and I the only one who grew up eating pizza like this lol. my mom would grill pizza in the summer cause my childhood house doesn't have central AC and the oven would always heat the house up too much. I cannot be the only one who's ever had this lol
i was wondering why you didn't try to freeze-thaw pizzas (in the refrigerator) and i think it's bc i don't think ppl consider them frozen.... but we just thaw them out lol. it's a frozen pizza, we just thawed it for u first
Air fryer is the way to go with frozen pizza. Cut your slices with kitchen scissors. Probably only realistic for one or two people. We do it for movie night, with small servings throughout the evening.
You gus should really think about adding a couple tablespoons of a very neutral oil, to your baking pan before putting them into the oven. Guaranteed crispy crust everytime. And it doesn't change the overall taste.
For crispy crust, either cook on a cheap pizza stone or my preferred method, directly on the rack with nothing under. Crispy each time. I can't eat frozen pizza any either way.
I'm in grad school and every Tuesday I have night classes so my partner and I have a tradition of making an aldis pizza on Tuesdays for din and reviewing them before I go to class so this video basically summarized months of our research lolol

100%! It's everyone's top choice for pizza nights in my house
The street corn that's only available in summer is so good I stock up my deep freezer with them
the cauliflower Margarita pizza is AMAZING when cooked in the air fryer!
Sadly my family arent fans of crisp crusts so we avoid them, getting frizen instead, despite knowing those pizzas have better toppings and sauce.

Why are companies even calling them “stuffed crust pizzas” when they could call them intestines of cheese?!
Probably they don't want us to think too closely about intestines being compacted with cheese since it might make us, y'know, eat less cheesy pizza.
This is what I AM SAYING
@@sweetlorikeet nah, they're missing a massive opportunity
I don't know which editor did this video, but the supercut of them saying breakfast pizza at the end was just so good 😅
Jam! She is Kelly's partner!
Aldi has ok frozen pizza, but their refrigerated deli pizzas are the BEST. Like, better than take-out best.
They had a mac and cheese one in the deli section a few months ago that was truly transformative.
We debated doing this instead but a lot of the deli pizzas were sold out at our aldi because they're just so popular!
One time my oven broke so I cooked a frozen pizza on the bbq grill. It was one of the tastiest pizza experiences of my life!
I found a macaroni and cheese pizza at Aldi once and it was the most delicious thing. And of course they never had it in stock again 🤣
It was an Aldi Find! It’s here and then it’s gone :( but that pizza truly was incredible. Hopefully they’ll bring it back one day.
they do that so they keep you hooked 🤣
If it's anything like the Mac & cheese pizza from Ci Cis then I think I just found my new place to get frozen pizzas
For my friend it was a cheese burger pizza. First bite was "this is surprisingly good" and by the end of the slice it was love only to sadly never be had again.
When you wrap warm pizza in foil it traps the steam and the crust gets more soggy
I recommend baking directly on the oven rack to get the desired crispness on the crusts. Baking it on a pan, especially with foil, will keep your crust soft.
I was thinking the same thing. They really need to cook the pizza directly on the rack.
Alternatively a pizza stone or perforated pan also help the crust crisp up instead of being sad and soggy
