Exactly. Not my favorite album of theirs but I love that they are proud of it and it's what they want to do. Seems fair to just say that's cool and leave it there.
I'm personally not feeling the last two albums, I like holy hell and older albums personally but I'm not going to go off and start harassing the band and disrespecting a band that's helped me majorly. I saw Architects play a support slot back in November 2022, where they only played music from their past two albums. Two guys near the front heckled them the whole time, constantly shouting “play something heavy” and “you used to be metal”. Sam called them out and told them if they don’t like it, fuck off and leave. Biggest cheer of the evening. Love Sam and the boys, and the channel Finn ❤
“Classic Symptoms” is one of my least favorite Architects records to date. But just like Thornhill’s “Heroine,” I respect the hell out of the boys for doing whatever the fuck they want, and putting heart and soul into it. Even if I don’t like every waking second of the album, they still put in work and time, because it was important to them. And I’m proud that the boys in architects are proud of what they’ve done, despite the backlash. Because standing your ground, despite how the music sounds, is metal as fuck. And I’m proud to be and Architects fan, no matter where they go in the future. RIP Tom.
Even if most didn’t like it, it’s still impressive architects can change up and still sound good. Regardless, even if it isn’t the normal architects sound, it still sounds amazing to itself. It blows my mind people can’t recognize how much talent and hard work architects have, even if it isn’t your cup of tea. People have to recognize this will bring new fans to them who like them just for the new sound. Sure I’m not as much of a fan of the newer stuff but I still recognize how good it is regardless. It’s impressive the range they have.
My Dad died of throat cancer when I was 22, back in 2014. And he was a popular music venue owner and musician. People use his name to hurt me on a regular basis still to this day. It's highly offensive. I can relate to this. I don't get how anyone thinks its okay to bring my Dad up like that and having played shows with Architects back in the day and having spent time around them briefly it was clear that if anyone they are the last people who deserve this. Tom and his brother were in particular so fucking nice to my band when we were just kids supporting them in small clubs. I haven't liked any music they've released in years but I would never understand why they'd be fucked with in such a nasty and personal way if at all. Shameful.

These guys music literally saved me from taking my life. This makes me sick that people are saying such things, Tom would be nothing but proud. I'm sorry the guys are having to deal with this.
Bands evolve their sound all the time, which inevitably leads to a segment of fans who bicker and complain about it. This is different. This is just hurtful spite. Over music, of all things. The music does not belong to the fans. It belongs to the artists who create it.
This title should be changed to “People disrespecting Architects and Tom Searle” because they are not true fans of Architects. True fans wouldn’t use the death of a legend and a former member to show their disapproval of the new music. Long live Tom
Metal fans can be disgusting, you saw it with thornhill, bmth, architects and many more. So many "diehard" fans losing their shit and throwing their insecurities and toxicity around.
This is truly saddening, and the reason why I try to stay away from social media. I loved All our Gods, and Holy Hell. But more than those albums, I love Architects for the people they are, and the stories they have. I'm disappointed, but not so surprised by the state of humans out there. Much love Sam, and the Architects boys.
Applause to Sam if you watch the video of how he handled it. The press made it a little misleading by using certain terms (i.e. ‘…Carter addressed the fan from stage and was rightfully livid.’) and then between that and the profanity Sam used? In print they made it look like Sam was spitting venom, yet he did the OPPOSITE of that + the headlines left out the key, ending detail. Here’s the reality: Sam handled it like a level headed gentleman, spoke in a heartwarming way, and then literally invited the crowd on the count of 3 to shake it off. Having lost 7 people who were close to me -we’re not merely talking grandparents- watching a couple of them physically leave their body -one of them to cancer- then my mom, little sister, & I went through my mom’s breast cancer together with Tom’s melanoma and Tom’s passing all coming back to back? If some did that to ME or my best friend/business partner/brother (basically my brother) over those circumstances I’ve lived through? I would’ve NOT handled it well. It would’ve been brutal, and ugly.. How Sam handled it is.. fuckin heroic, quiet honestly. Inspiring. Now, I’m finding myself looking up to him in a comparable way to how I look up to Mike Shinoda. He & Ali gave an interview with a female, German journalist (it’s the one where they have to pass around the single microphone), and he was asked about an incident. She wanted to know if it was inflammatory, and what Sam (and Ali, too) had to say was once again so level headed, heart warming, and gentlemanly. This dude is a fuckin inspiration. Sam Carter DEMONSTRATES excellence in a good way to be under the WORST imaginable pressure. Human beings are defined by the actions they take under pressure. The greater the pressure, the deeper the revelation, and the more true to the person’s essential nature you get. What a dude 👏🏼❤️🩹 Kudos sir 🙌🏼
It's one thing to say that Tom would have done a better job (he was incredibly talented), it's another to assert that he would have hated what they're doing.
I think even saying Tom would have done it better is disgusting. People want to act like Tom was a perfect writer and the rest of the band can't hold a candle to him and its stupid. Tom wrote The Here And Now. Not my favourite album, but importantly, its not that heavy and people hated it at the time. Tom also wrote a couple of the songs on Holy Hell, which alot of these people say isn't good. And I believe I heard the band mention that it was Tom's idea to try mixing industrial rock with metalcore (aka Animals, Tear Gas, etc). Yet people want to act like Tom wanted to and would have just kept writing All Our Gods 2 if he were still alive.
@@johnmacdonald9857 I think Dan even said that Tom wouldn't do another record after All Our Gods, because it didn't bring Tom any joy. We obviously won't know for sure, but I believe that even if Tom would beat cancer, Architects would still take the same direction they took without him. The only difference being that he himself would be able to say how much he hated people, who said that he would hate whatever the lads were doing.
Man this is disgusting, Tom would be so proud of the band and especially no doubt his brother still making incredible music. I loved Architects with Tom and I still love Architects now ♥️ thank you guys
Keep your head up Sam. You guys are incredible and I'm thankful Architects still exist. I loss my Dad in September '22, grief hits hard. You guys chose to create music still which speaks in volumes where some people wouldn't understand. I can only imagine the pain of losing Tom. He was a brother to you guys and a creative inspiration to many musicians. The pain of losing someone important cuts deep, there's no time stamp on when grievance ends. It has no boundaries. Yet choosing to keep pushing motivates many. Never forget the impact you guys are.
The way I like to think of it is that Tom’s talent was so influential in the band that there was no way architects could’ve been the same after he passed. Architects sound changing should be a monument to how talented Tom was and how fundamental he was to the band.
Sam and the other architects are incredible people, despite all the pain they've been through, they continue to write and play. In my opinion you are the best band in this world, never stop writing the music you love and fuck the haters!!❤
Saw Architects in Hamburg a few months before Tom passed and they were sensational. All our gods is still one my favourite albums of all time but must say I’m not a fan of the last two albums (although Dead Butterflies was a belter) but in my opinion I’m sure Tom would be so proud of how the band are doing now and I’m sure he’d be happy they have been so successful
Anyone who says that Tom would hate Architects changing their sound was clearly not a fan of them when they put out The Here and Now- an album Tom was a big part of with the least heavy song Architects have ever released that they got so much shit for back then because Hollow Crown was so heavy and the next album was just... Not. I have no doubt Tom is proud as hell of the boys wherever he is now for taking chances and writing what they feel, regardless of what people think. ❤
I personally loved For those that wish to exist, I would even say it's my favorite album from them and their latest album was alright. I do hate these "fans" though who say these disgusting things and if one of those people read this, Idc how much you hate an album, don't say shit like that. Go listen to something else if your taste is different but don't bring up dead people to insult the band. You don't know these people, they are strangers. You didn't know Tom, you don't know shit, he was a stranger to you and you were a stranger to him. You don't know how he would feel or what he would say about these albums and tbh it doesn't matter. This whole thing is so toxic and gross I am actually very proud that the band is going on and doing their thing and trying to handle all this harassment. I hope them the best and I will be here to see what else they bring to the table.
Truly sad to hear that there are people like this.. you'd think if they were old enough to have grown up on Architects earlier stuff they would have the emotional maturity to just move onto the next f they don't like the new direction. I remember first seeing their Camden underworld set on TV when Nightmares first hit and have seen them countless times in my teens and adulthood from Ruin/Hollow Crown days and in all honesty never really got into their latest 2 albums..but that is my own personal taste changing and I have the greatest of respect of what the direction they're taking with Josh Middleton (miss sylosis though!). Will always look on them with fondly for all the good times they've given me so thank you.
2:15 Yeah this is v true. A lot of metal fans are very underdeveloped or undereducated in general because the whole music genre itself is very tribal in nature, using a lot of rhythmic elements initially found in Spiritual and Occasional African Tribal Music. It hits our chimp brains in such a manner that it hits our innate centers, which are very VERY emotionally driven (a shitty example of this is a baby between 0 and 9 months out of the womb. They are 100% emotion because regulation hasn’t entered the equation yet)
We don't even have to draw the conflation all the way back to tribal music but just tribalism as a concept. Metal always had a personality of "outcasted, controversial, not like the others etc" where people want to act like they're holier than thou thus they lash out at anyone who doesn't conform to this 'hardcore' aesthetic - any other emotion beyond anger is considered weak, poetic depth is too mainstream and innovation is hated. I swear the metal scene shoots itself in the foot when bands like architects are being ridiculed
@@Fanrose2475 I do not think that people dislike the "emotion" in architects music. Holy Hell was one of the most emotional metal albums, yet it's still regarded as the best metalcore album of all time by many. It's the straying away from their sound that people loved them for.
@@nikoraasu6929 doesn't change the point tho. People hear anything thats not the sound/style that they personally prefer and go out of their way to hate on it. Its just plain stupid
my eyes are shooting flames right now...... Tom is a LEGEND!! I still am in shock that fans are seriously being disrespectful to Tom's memory. Its one thing to not like a bands direction, its another thing to disrespect Tom.
People are so incredibly toxic in the metal scene, I think metal fans are the worst kind of fans of all music genres. People somehow feel entitled to their favourite bands catering their sound just to them. Loved the new record.
It sucks that I’m hesitant to even try to get back into playing music because people are so shitty online…it’s not about being tough or anything but it’s gotta be super defeating to work on something and then just get shit on over it annnnd then try to keep going and block it out
“Those that wish to exist” is the hardest album for me to listen to from the band……. But in the ways that it reminds me of Tom. Personally feel this album was subconsciously an accepting that Tom is no longer with us. I feel the band portrayed that feeling beautifully on this album.
I don’t like most of the new Architects stuff, so I don’t listen to it. I love the older stuff, so I do listen to it. It’s really not difficult at all, how are there so many people out there that think it’s acceptable to say such disrespectful things, especially directly to the band.
Love the album Sam man. Just keep doing what you wanna do. Don't mind the haters man. Don't let people stifle your creativity. There's always people gonna hate when you change your sound. There's one song on the new album I think is one of the best in your entire catalogue. A New Moral Low Ground is absolutely amazing man great work on that one. 👌👍👍
They wrote their names in metalcore history in gold with their previous work, they can now do whatever they want, and surely the last 2 albums werent much to my liking aside from a couple of songs, but its also important to understand you cant recreate the same level of emotional intensity that their previous work dealt with and thats also what made them special.
This is same thing that happens whenever a band loses one of its members but yet the rest of the band continues on. An easy example is Dime and Vinnie Paul. When Dime was murdered, Vinnie started Hellyeah and many fans of Pantera saw Hellyeah as a disgrace to Pantera's legacy. I can't tell you how many "Dime would be rolling in his grave right now because of what Vinnie is doing" comments I read online in this time period. It was almost every comment online. Some people are just completely disconnected from reality when they go online and don't associate the right emotions and the reactions that would ensue when they post such tactless comments online. And it's these people that tend to be the loudest and use the internet platform as their excuse to say whatever they want with basically no consequences because in real life, their words don't have any power but here we have the internet and boom. It's instant power because you have a platform to connect with a lot of people and that power tends to bring out the best and worst of humanity.
As a musician and a twin, those are not fans. Too many people are far too comfortable with saying things behind the computer screen because they’re not getting punched in the face as a repercussion.
Thing is, I'm not particularly a fan of the new stuff compared to other work they've done, but I've always felt like the stuff that they've written since the passing of Tom sounds like an evolution of day breaker and everything that came before it. I personally would have preferred an evolution of lost forever and all our gods, but assumed either they didn't want to continune pursuing this sounds due to the hurt I imagine is attached to these albums or being as the songs are being written by different people they just gravitate more to the sound they're producing now. But by that logic, despite it being out of order to say what people are saying, it's also likely incorrect.
I don't listen to Architects new releases, They've sort of created newer fanbase with their new sound... which I don't mind but I would still be a fan of the older releases and I still jam their older albums to this day. Idk why some people will go out of their way messaging and telling something like that will do anything good.
The thing I realised when I was a late teen/early 20's, is that if you think a band has 'sold out', there always an upcoming heavy band that I can go listen to that sound more like the band I thought had 'sold out' lol. This is just another level of low.
I really didn't like their last album, but what this people are doing is just nonsense and harmful just for the sake of doing it. Shame on them for call themselves fans
The people commenting are absolutely out of line. Much respect for the Architects gents- smart folks and great musicians with big hearts and visions. The entitlement of some 'fans' is unbelievable. If you don't like it just move on.
The new album was a bit disappointing for me. However, Architects are still one of my all time favourite bands. I fully support them in doing whatever they want with their music, its their band lol. There are plenty of other bands copying them nowadays if you like the old sound, just move on.
That's shocking.Classic symptoms is far from architects best work but it's still good music. The old stuff will always be there. Looking forward to hearing new and old in Melbourne on the 18th
The world just seems to hate change, architects have older albums that sound different and heavier, we still have them to enjoy, people don’t seem to realise that bands like architects and bring me the horizon that have changed to a slightly more mainstream version of themselves are helping new audiences get into this genre of music, and I’m sorry but how is that bad?! More fans means more music and more tours, people need to get a grip and just shut up if they don’t like it, like the old saying, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all
Personally I don't like architects but having said that I would never bring up one of there dead friends or use homophobic remarks as a cheap shot and as much as I am not a fan of the band personally Sam here makes alot of valid points and his intelligence really comes through, I also feel alot of fans (if you can even call them that) are the same with alot of other bands, Metallica being the biggest example "will if cliff was alive they wouldn't make music like this" well how does anyone know that? It's all pure non sensible speculation
Ive been vocally loud about how truly awful their new music is, but to bring up a best friend who died, just to take a dig at them, eeesh people need to reasses their lives. This are 5 normal dudes just making a living. Criticise the art, for sure, thats what art is there for, to form an opinion on. But it doesnt need to be personal.
Wait wtf, i thought this channel was wayyyyyyy bigger than i thought, dude i swear this channel was bigger......wtf UPDATE: went a check and this is his podcast channel lol my b
I'll admit, Architects new album didn't amaze me. But it still had some songs I love and I applaud them for trying new things with their sound. You have to be an incredibly pathetic person to attack a tragic moment in someone's past because they made a few songs you dislike.
Unfortunately, you can't fix stupid. There are complete illogical, horrible mouth breathers out there, but, that is the tiniest percent, most people are good, caring, thoughtful people.
Architects would've been different with Tom, but there's no better/worse with music. You either enjoy it or you don't. I don't care much for the new stuff, but I have respect for those guys continuing without Tom.
Not only did none of these so-called "fans" know Tom personally so they'd have no fucken idea if he'd like it or not, but Tom was influenced by everything from Dillinger Escape Plan to COLDPLAY, he ABSOLUTELY wouldn't give a fuck what direction Architects went in after he died
Tom Searle was the heart of the band and rest of the guys are trying their best continue with making music. Do I like the latest album? Hell no. But that's okay, I think they are still trying to find their new sound, or maybe they think they found it. Not my jam but Sam you are far above those assholes and always will be. I still think you can write a banger record and I am looking for it. P.S. Josh Middleton is a fucking beast, cherish him.
Love Architects. People do not see this side of metal, kindness, decency, real issues covered in the most incredible music and lyrics. Coming from a gay guy, props for the comment on homophobia, these people lack the intelligence to understand your music or respect you for what you do. That was a big deal for me to hear you say. We are all in this confusing world together, just trying to get by. Love over hate!
For sure architects has been not on the top after the end of Holy Hell Album and they don't sound like the used to be but man don't disrespect the band. It's sad. They are one of the best
This is a random analogy but it works: These shitty fans treat Tom Searle and Architects like Mindy Kaling treats Velma and the Scooby Doo franchise. Just an excuse to spew their own spiteful opinions while unwittingly disrespecting everyone they claim to be fans of
Yeah, that's a bit of an unnecessary dig. You can say "it's not for me", "it doesn't sound like Architects" (that's valid, a band is essentially a brand and all brands have brand-guides and terms of use) or even "it's shit". But to bring a personal sensitive matter into it like you're some kind of authority of someone else's opinions and thinking; that's just wrong. Who are we to think we knew Tom so intimately, or more so than his band mates, you know.
I def don’t like the new architects, all their stuff up to holy hell was great for me but it’s def not right to disrespect a band, at the end of the day it’s the bands deciding what direction they wanna pursue
I understand that from one album to the next the sound does change quite drastically, but I wouldn't expect them to go through something like they did and come out exactly the same on the other side, especially after losing their main songwriter. Tom would be proud of you guys, for having the strength to continue, and the courage to try something new. Disclaimer: this is my opinion and is fucking worthless, much like yours
All I’m hearing is Sam complain that the older fans don’t like the new direction and his immediate reaction is “don’t bring up tom”. The new music isn’t for me fine. I still love the 3 golden metalcore records they gave us but. He needs to stop blaming the fans for not liking the new sound and going “well they all just want tom” no we want architects not whatever they’re become
well you're clearly not listening. the problem isn't people not liking the new music, the problem is people weaponizing a band's dead bandmate/friend/brother to somehow give weight to their opinion because they're annoyed architects haven't just remade the same album over again. for anyone to suggest they know how tom would feel whatsoever is laughably arrogant and to straight up say it to the band is some weird, entitled, hurtful bullshit. that's the issue here.
Animals is like the only great song from the last 2 albums. I saw architects back when they releases lost forever and did their tours and then saw them a couple more times during all our gods and they were full of energy and amazing man. Then I saw them recently like a few months ago and they played a lot of new songs like half the crowd went out to grab a beer or have a smoke every time they played something new it was so crazy.
I agree with everything minus the "dont use g@Y". lol. A lot of us grew up in the 90s and we find that word funny. We use it because it has comedic tone. You can use that as a joke and not hate g@y people.
@@kickflop21 Perhaps, but it's decisions like this that could one day lead to bans on words like "man" or "woman" because someone, somewhere got offended by it because it wasn't tailor-made for them and their fragile ego. Let's not try to appropriate speech, yeah?
I didn't start listening to architects till after tom... but I mean COME ON. "What would Tom think? Why don't you sound like tom?" No offense... but Tom is dead. And I'm pretty sure he just wants the rest of his band to do what they think is right for them, without him.
@Philip Doud I never even said that, you're putting words into my mouth. I don't mind their old stuff, in fact, Holy Hell was my favourite by them. Their new music is uninspired, boring, and unbelievably generic. It's just radio-rock, and not good radio-rock. Each chorus is just the same old pitched yelling and it's so droning. Bands evolve their sound all the time, which inevitably leads to a segment of fans who bicker and complain about it. This is different. This is just hurtful spite. Over music, of all things. The music does not belong to the fans. It belongs to the artists who create it.
All the love to Sam and the band. Happy they’re making the music they want to be making even if it’s not going to appeal to everyone.

Both are moronic statements from people who are self-destructively self-centered.
I love "Classic Symptoms" and I'm so sick of the hate! I love the variety in their discography.
I still think that Lost Together through Holy Hell is peak Architects, but I can't imagine saying some of the things that these people are saying lol
Saw Sam and the guys play Cardiff last year and they were amazing live. Sam's vocals are insane
Calling something gay isn’t really homophobic South Park had a good episode about that called the f word
I actually really love the new album. It took a few listens for me to get into it, but it's a fuckin' banger!
Was honestly super disappointed with the album for the first couple months but it’s really grown on me and I actually love it now
That really pisses me off 🤬
Truly sad to hear that there are people like this.. you'd think if they were old enough to have grown up on Architects earlier stuff they would have the emotional maturity to just move onto the next f they don't like the new direction.
Well said
We don't even have to draw the conflation all the way back to tribal music but just tribalism as a concept.
@@nikoraasu6929 What? Nobody thinks holy hell is the best metalcore album, you just made this up by yourself.
my eyes are shooting flames right now...... Tom is a LEGEND!! I still am in shock that fans are seriously being disrespectful to Tom's memory. Its one thing to not like a bands direction, its another thing to disrespect Tom.
Tom and the band have brought an immeasurable amount of good into my day to day, and I can’t express how grateful I am for all of it.
People are so incredibly toxic in the metal scene, I think metal fans are the worst kind of fans of all music genres. People somehow feel entitled to their favourite bands catering their sound just to them. Loved the new record.
It sucks that I’m hesitant to even try to get back into playing music because people are so shitty online…it’s not about being tough or anything but it’s gotta be super defeating to work on something and then just get shit on over it annnnd then try to keep going and block it out
The people saying that shit should be ashamed of themselves, thats insane. New songs do suck though lol.
Some people can't just like or dislike things... Such badasses.
*dumbasses*
The people doing that are horrible.
But by that logic, despite it being out of order to say what people are saying, it's also likely incorrect.
love how Sam put him in his place at 2:39
What makes people think they have the right? I'm glad I don't understand it.
These people can't separate what they want from how it makes other people feel, to say these things. Keep going Sam, you and the band are loved 🙏
I don't listen to Architects new releases, They've sort of created newer fanbase with their new sound... which I don't mind but I would still be a fan of the older releases and I still jam their older albums to this day. Idk why some people will go out of their way messaging and telling something like that will do anything good.
The podcast clips. Yes. Great idea
im not a fan of architects new stuff but all i do is go and listen to something else im never going to type horrible things about it
The thing I realised when I was a late teen/early 20's, is that if you think a band has 'sold out', there always an upcoming heavy band that I can go listen to that sound more like the band I thought had 'sold out' lol.
This is just another level of low.
I really didn't like their last album, but what this people are doing is just nonsense and harmful just for the sake of doing it. Shame on them for call themselves fans
I don’t care if people hate an artist for trying something new Im an Architects fan for life and respect them for trying something different
Sorry to the boys in architects...the worlds become overopinionated ....its disgusting the way humans treat eachother sometimes
Yes, it sickens me sometimes.
What does that even mean bro
@@nikodemvankenobi your brain is to small for this comment section
The people commenting are absolutely out of line. Much respect for the Architects gents- smart folks and great musicians with big hearts and visions. The entitlement of some 'fans' is unbelievable. If you don't like it just move on.
Those kinds of thoughts shouldn't leave someone's head in the first place, but internet made it too easy to get them around.
Came here after someone jumped on stage at one of their concerts in Australia and said some disrespectful stuff about tom.
If I ever have an online persona. I WILL NOT READ COMMENTS...
And that will be a good thing I mean still read some comments but only the good ones
They Are My Favourite Band Ever Next To SOAD I Personally Think This Is The Only “Flop” They’ve Ever Released
More fans means more music and more tours, people need to get a grip and just shut up if they don’t like it, like the old saying, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all
Good way to define those folks as "emotionally underdeveloped", some people just never grow up, unfortunately.
Everyone is a fan until you don't continue to remake their favorite songs over a million times
I would use the word 'fans' loosely here. Hardly fans.
Wait wtf, i thought this channel was wayyyyyyy bigger than i thought, dude i swear this channel was bigger......wtf

Love Architects and I certainly didn't like the new album. However to bring Tom up in that light it truly disrespectful in the worst ways
I will always enjoy any architects song
I just want the bleghs
@sneezeloweze3953 ^^^ this is the only correct opinion
I lost my mom to cancer. That made me rather want to not have to deal with stupid people.
For sure architects has been not on the top after the end of Holy Hell Album and they don't sound like the used to be but man don't disrespect the band. It's sad. They are one of the best
This is a random analogy but it works:
These shitty fans treat Tom Searle and Architects like Mindy Kaling treats Velma and the Scooby Doo franchise.
Sam got severely traumatized from basic Internet trolling lmao
Dont like a song you dont go and disrespect the legacy om Tom. Jesus Christ that is just so heartless
Bringing up Tom is monstrous. The new album is utter shit but it has no involvement with Tom's opinion.
Your not listening or understanding the point your just being a baseless hater without even knowing the story
Just because you used to use it, doesn't mean you should continue to do so.

I didn't start listening to architects till after tom... but I mean COME ON.

No offense... but Tom is dead. And I'm pretty sure he just wants the rest of his band to do what they think is right for them, without him.

Their new music is uninspired, boring, and unbelievably generic. It's just radio-rock, and not good radio-rock. Each chorus is just the same old pitched yelling and it's so droning.
Not every critic of architects' new sound fits into your little bubble, lmao.
@@Marthyboy88 And this is a trash argument lmao; there’s a lot of wrong with the album, there are also some things that are cool; just because a band you like released a record doesn’t mean it’s a good record lmao
The only time I ever bring up Tom is to say I feel like the band losing Tom hurt their music creativity. Not that Tom would hate their music now. Never disrespect the band or the ones who’ve passed like that.
The last two albums are not my cup of tea but man, leave Tom out of this, no matter how much you dislike the new stuff. You don't know what his opinion would be. But still, he was the crown jewel and once they lost him, their crown became worthless for me.
Could say it became a... hollow crown.
Sorry I had to, I'm just as ashamed
This is such a misleading title for the video. I wouldn't bully them about how bad their new songs/lyrics are compared to when Tom Searle was with them. But the interviewer here should tell us how songs like "animals" affected him on an emotional level compared to some of their older songs like "learn to live".
Tom's unique and tasty riffs are why I listened to them
Now they just sound generic... good but generic rock.
Regardless of your opinion on the album. To abuse them and bring Tom into it ain't on, at all.
well Architects sucks right now in my opinion but I ain't gonna talk about their dead member lmao, I just go back to their older stuff if I want to listen to them and that's all
