  • We love Gelato & Ice Cream and we love NUTELLA, why not bring them both together.. In this video we show how WE make a batch of NUTELLA Gelato and to be honest, its the best we've ever tastet. So nice and yet still very simple.
    / @metteandjesper
    Ingredients:
    300ml Whole Milk
    150ml Cream
    2 Egg Youlks
    120g Sugar
    135g NUTELLA
The Machine we are using to churn the Gelato/ IceCream is a Musso 4080. It rotates with 80 rotations per minute whipping a lot of air into the Cream which gives it a very smooth and nice texture. Truth be told, we havent seen any IceCream storebought this good.. It is really amazing.

Wanted to let you know that I bought the 4080 because of your channel and specifically because of this recipe. I appreciate you taking the mystery out of how super premium ice cream is made at home.

I'm about to buy one of these machines (Musso Mini 4080). Thank you for the effort you put into making that video!

Hello, thanks for the video. For someone who does not want to use sugar or at least not very much sugar , would the end result of ice cream recipes made with this machine be affected negatively in terms of consistency or smoothness ? Thanks

I dont think it will hurt to half the sugar, but be aware that it might become more solid if you put it into the freezer. You could substitute with honey or mable syrup if thats better for you :) sry for the late reply and thank you for watching ♥

    Hi,
Watching your videos really encourage me to buy my mini musso lussino. I just receive my machine and I have done 2 batchs of the yogourt ice cream. I cannot unscrew the top to clean the pales. Can you help me with that ? Sorry if I type or explain myself on the wrong way I am french

    • @fourstubbs

The screw on top should just turn if you unscrew left. It shouldn’t be hard to turn.. I hope this helps

Hi Linda and thank you for watching. If the knob is hard to unscrew use a towel or some other piece of cloth to make it easier to unscrew :) Congrats on the machine and sry for the late reply :)

I would put it in the freezer but you would need to stir in it every now and then during freezing time. thank you for watching and sry for the late reply ♥

It looks great, but at the same time, it looks that it needs more overrun (air). Maybe a better formula to achieve it, as that machine spins quite fast and with enough strength, so it should be able to do it. Great work anyway, looks tasty

We were very impressed with the result and also amateurs so maybe easy to impress.. This is by far, much better than storebought.. :)

@@metteandjesper Indeed. Feels great to make ice cream at home. Its an achievement, and also you can make your own flavors how you like them. At least in my country its almost impossible to make better than ice cream than the one you buy in stores, as we have gelato here, high quality. But you can control how sweet you want it, and thats something really important, as ice cream is usually too sweet

True and freshly stirred is just miles better.. :) We have some "highend" icecream shops around and it tastes good on site, but if we bring home that exact same icecream in a box, It's crap.. :p
Oh and sorry bout the late reply btw, havent been much active lately :)

It is actually a quite slow machine best suited for gelato with overun under 25%. The video is sped up and is a time lapse so it does not represent actual performance.

@@MarkasTZM oh, well it spins at 80 rotations per minute.. the fastest in the musso family?

What type of cream is this?

    • @metteandjesper
      @metteandjesper  Год назад

oh, here we have just 38% cream also called whipping cream on the container. Pro's can get 50% or double cream. We use the 38% version :)

Gianduia cheat hack. So much easier than extracting freshly roasted hazelnuts in hot milk.Truly an all time great gelato flavor.

Egg yolks are mostly fat, so add more cream to eliminate the yolks.
