Hawaii with Kids | Oahu Travel Guide | Honolulu Things to Do

Traveling with kids can be SCARY but there are few destinations more suitable for a toddler than OAHU! We spent a delicious week based in Honolulu and the whole family was able to relax, have fun and appreciate the Hawaiian culture. Here's a guide for things to do with little ones in this tropical paradise.
Highlights for Oahu Travel with kids:
1. Hilton Hawaiian Village & Resort for their pools, wildlife throughout the grounds, proximity to pristine beach and the lovely Ali'i Tower.
2. Waikiki Aquarium for their beautiful species and dedication to conservation.
3. Honolulu Zoo for the variety of up close experiences with so many animals!
4. North Shore beaches and Haleiwa town -- a lovely laidback morning or afternoon trip with a little one.

Did you travel around the city or other parts of the island? We want to go to Honolulu but parking at hotels is so expensive and we do not want to take public transit or Ubers with little kids still in carseats.

We rented a car used it to explore Kailua and the North Shore. We felt the same way about little kids in ubers. Unfortunately, the parking is expensive :(
