I always feel like Prost gets underrated because he wasn't as spectaculair as Senna. Also the fact he was Senna's rival goes against him. If i'm honest... (and please don't take this as me taking away from Senna as i still think he is the most iconic driver ever) i rate Prost higher than Senna or at least equal. Edit: but then again i hate Goat talk as you can't compare era's imo. I rather talk about best of their generation
It's worth remembering that Senna raced with a 1,200 HP car, Turbo, manual transmission and no power steering, in other words, a TRUE MONSTER! Senna is by far the best F1 driver of all time!! R.I.P SENNA!
Totally agree! Plus, he could keep his car stuck on the tracks at high speed (including hard corners) even when it was raining or he had critical transmission issues, while other F1 drivers at that time were generally a bit more cautious in those situations. Additionally, I sometimes drove the MP4/4 (and its later variations) in a simulator through manual gear mode, and his car is really quite challenging to drive, spinning out easily (no matter on dry or wet tracks), but Senna, with his almost divine skills, was able to do it "magically". Prost and Lauda, for example, drove McLaren very well, too (other geniuses), but in the rain, Senna was unbeatable indeed!
Even many current F1 greatest drivers, like Lewis Hamilton, think the same. He was indeed an outstanding motorsport athlete and a great humain being in his personal life as well. I have no doubt he would be 6...7 or maybe even 8-time world champion if he was still with us!
Nicki Lauda should've been a 4 x WC if he raced last race in 76 given the great James Hunt it. Seb yeah The professor & Godfather Fangio, Ayrton Senna, Michael DANGEROUS Schumacher, & Sir Lewis GOAT Hamilton No2 just behind his hero Ayrton Mr Monaco Senna BUT should've made it the 8 greatest F1 driver's to put Jim Clark in. Oh see VERSTRAPON didn't make the list & why ? Because he's not a great race driver just fast & extremely DANGEROUS one.
@@robbybahnsen_15R Good point. The only reason Max is not on the Top 7, here, even he was mentioned at the beginning of this video as the tops ones anyway, is because he still needs more time to strengthen his legacy, which Lauda, Fangio, Schumacher and Senna are still strongest in this aspect. If he keeps this pace it will be a matter of time.
I would put Jim Clark in the Top 3 personally. He ran so many different racing series outside of F1 as well and always showed incredible talent in all of them. Certainly the best all-around driver of them all.

With a quiet head Prost was better than Senna
Niki is truly the goat. The hardest most courageous beautiful driver of all time

Schumacher at 3 is kinda wild
Maybe Hamilton doesn't have the same competition that Schumi did, like Mika Hakkenin, for one.
Excelent video! Senna will always be the best ❤

Awesome video, very detailed!! 👏🏻👏🏻
Your comments are indeed appreciated @louisekmm. Constantly improving (content + video quality) to be well enjoyed by the viewers.
No Lewis without Niki

max is a goat.
@@1up_Lee636 Max is really amazing as well. No doubt!
I would go as far as saying Max should be number 2 on this list (only to Senna). Especially after that drive in Brazil this year.

Hell no. Hes third or second to Hamilton.@@robbybahnsen_15R
Max is great but senna with max’s car would win 9 titles in a row
Jim Clark was better than all of the aforementioned.

Maravilha de vídeo. Só um detalhe: A narração poderia ser um pouco mais lenta.A edição está belíssima, o BG muito bom.
