Roger I am glad to see the sellers are starting to listen to the community that you and others have built. I research products before I buy them. I watch listen and have my go to RUclips channels that I regularly subscribe. Roger you are one of them and I thank you. Happy Thanksgiving and God bless!
Hi Roger, concerning the M350 controller check the differences between DDCSExpert 5 axis and the FOINNC M350. report back what you think of them. Also consider the support/Manuals on both of them. Now I'm busy with the FOINNC M350 on a converted 3018, Z-axis extended, 5 axis add-on, milling machine writing some macro programming to do some rectangular pocketing. Nice to have it compared to the regular GRBL functionality it's overkill but future proof ;-)
Waiting for you next build with new controller and i am also upgrading my machine with the same if u do before June or July I'll wait... Otherwise I'll start myself.... Basically I am looking for advice... Thank you
Hi Roger i bought this about a year ago SMC5-5-N-N its been great on my build but i cant get it to draw the cut file can you do a video on the draw function Regards Dave from the UK
Hi Roger! I bought an SMC a while ago and works beautifully, but i couldn't find a way to connect the controller with the pc using the "com" port of the controller. Did you connect it that way?
Thanks Roger for your tireless efforts to get this controller bang on price. I am considering buying for my own cnc build but concerned on voltages it supports here in EU. It should be ok I presume with 220v AC?
Hi Roger, in your view, what is the best post processor available in fusion 360 when using this controller? Also do you run a auto Z 0 touch plate with this controller?

I have one of these that I bought before the price rose. I wish the maker was more responsive on firmware updates.

There are those who say that this control unit cannot output 500 KHZ per axis and cannot exceed 100 KHz. What can you say about this subject?
Hello, can the smc5 5 n n replace the smc4-4 16a-16b as just plug in without modifications to wiring harness
Thank you. Sabato.

It's ok as it's 24v DC . So all you need is a 220v AC to 24v DC power supply
There is also the Australian made Masso CNC with Australian support. No I am not part of that company.
If I could buy one for sub $500 then that would be a good deal for me
By the time you get it set up its over $1,000
+10 % Import tax on the total price. ( inc postage ) for Aust anyway

Mach3 mm tap
@@rogerwebb9600 thanks Roger. Have you ever used a auto z/0 tool touch plate with the smc5 controller or do you always do it manually?
For this price you can get more interesting and powerful controller made in not china)))
Mmmmmm!
