The anti rebound rod is fixed or movable
im pregnant with my first child and finding a carseat that is safe has been my biggest stressor because there is so many! would you recommend for first time moms?
I would. It has a ton of great safety features and Britax has an incredibly solid reputation. Plus it works on a lot of strollers so I love that.

So I might be an expert on opinions of good baby gear videos.@@destinationbabykids Do you plan on doing a detailed overview of their new stroller? Another stroller that I cannot find a decent video on is the Uppa Baby G link 2023 version.
@@mollyhayward8383 G link RARELY sells in stores. Like you can find a million stores that sell uppa and almost no one floors the G Link strollers. Most of that kind of sale (umbrella strollers) go to the 3D style folds that you see on the Minu or the Bugaboo Butterfly. So since I haven't sold one in forever I probably won't floor it but it's possible that during a trade show I could review it. And I probably won't floor the Britax Stroller either. The quality on it wasn't impressive to me in that price point but again if they want to send me one for free I will totally review it. I pay for almost all the stuff I review so like that's always a balancing act.

This was so helpful, thank you! I’m trying to decide between this and the KeyFit 35 for my next baby. Any input? I’m not super worried about stroller compatibility, so just the car seats themselves!
The Keyfit 35 is easier to use. it has Yellow touch points for the moving pieces and it has a no rethread harness which is nice when you want to adjust the harness height. Both seats have an anti rebound bar on the base and European belt routing method for baseless install so both are very safe. I just like the Chicco Keyfit 35 better if you don't care about what car seat it goes onto.
Can you talk about how much the seat wobbles in the aspen base? Is that honestly safe?
So great question. All the infant seats on my floor have play similar to that when they are in the base. I checked the Chicco Keyfit 35, Nuna Pipa RX Lite, Nuna Pipa RX, Nuna Pipa, Cybex Aton Swivel, Cybex Cloud Lux, Uppa Baby Mesa Max, and Mesa V2 and all those seats have play when you try to move them around while installed in the base. So that movement is 100% real but it is inline with what I am seeing on other car seats that I sell. Thanks for bring this up though cause it's a totally fair question and I can see how someone would wonder about it.
