I wouldn't say that their the greatest band that never made it. But they were part of a music scene that exploded in New York City with different up and coming bands that have a certain sound that stood out in the indie/alternative rock music world. Ambulance Ltd. made good songs and music but was competing for attention with other great bands from the same neighborhood like The Strokes, The Stills from Canada, , Longwave, Elefant, The National, A Place To Bury Strangers, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeah's,.... Ambulance Ltd. got tossed in the closet, forgotten and just faded away.
Checking in for 2021. I'm a little late. Had places to go and people to know. Still a great song that has held up over the years. Takes me back to a simpler time. Little did we know the heavy lifting we would all be doing.
This song sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it. What an absolutely amazing band, a truly INCREDIBLE album, that never seemed to gain any publicity whatsoever. I adore listening to this and just love to read everyone’s comments ❤️ love from 2021
I remember listening to these guys back in the early 2000s. When I quit drinking in 2007 I kind of lost track with them but just for some reason, just last night this song popped up in my head. It took me quite a while to figure out what song it was but out of nowhere just came to me. Good memories
I REALLY miss this band. The world didn't know what it had. Saw them at least twice. Opening for Placebo in Philly at the TLA and headlining at Fletcher's in Baltimore w/ Stellastarr* and The Killers supporting. COME BACK!
Funny, I was playing guitar and was fooling around with a melody and then I was thinking this sounds like Heavy Lifting. It was weird because I forgot about theses guys and out of nowhere they came back into my head and remembering again how great they were. This video is such a great blast from the past. Love this song.
I got a chance to see these guys quite a damn few years ago and I recently in the last year have revisited this band after hearing them as the intro band at a concert. This band was seriously something great, I'd kill to get them back.
Just what the hell happened to this incredibly talented band? Does anyone know what Marcus Congleton is up to in 2022? Hope they make a comeback sometime, they were just too good.
Still admiring this band in 2024 - played this song in a talent show in 2010. What an awesome tune
I will not allow this video to go a year without a comment! The greatest band that never made it.

Really makes you mad and cry at the same time! How did these guys never blow up bigger?
@@mymusic5632 Bro the biggest killer of Ambulance Ltd was, well, The Killers.

I'm 35 now... This was such an integral part of my formative years

One of the greatest songs of all time... how did I only get to know of this... 6 years ago. Still goosebumps
Exactly how I feel. We are beyond blessed to have this music. It’s a gift from some power beyond our comprehension.

Couldn’t agree more, reminds me when I jammed this for the talent show in 8th grade.

Ambulance LTD is the best band of all time. OF ALL TIME!
My favorite of all their beautifully crafted pieces.
What a great song! when the acoustic starts the guy looks a bit like beck there. But why is this band not huge? drugs? what a rock/pop masterpiece.
this song's pure awesomeness
