Thanks for taking the time to watch my newest video! Especially if you made it to the end. I have a correction to make. At 27:30, I incorrectly identify what I think, at first glance, is Great Mullein (Verbascum thapsus), when in fact it is actually Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea). My apologies! Not sure how I got these mixed up, they're quite distinct from one another. Just a brain fart, I suppose!
I've only been to Anglesey once before but not explored it like you. Yes, the grouse killing season is annoying. I love geology, too. You could talk about it all day, and I'll just sit there mesmerised. Do you follow Louisa, The Scottish Geologist? She is really enthused, too. I just love hiking where others aren't. As for the shrooms, are they cookable without getting high or dead? Love the seals, too. Camping at a fault line. It doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for sharing. I really enjoyed this one.
Thanks so much Chris! I had a phenomenal time. I’d love to learn way more about the geology there more in depth, but that’ll take a lot more research! I haven’t heard of Louisa but will certainly check her out. The mushrooms featured in this video (if I identified correctly) are edible, but as I’m never 100% sure I leave them well alone.
I so love your motorbike tent. I wish we had back when my dad took me out. I've sat and watched seals that way many times, you can never tire of the peace it brings. Great video 👍🏻
@@jacobswalkies6876 Aww thank you so much! I love that little tarp/bike setup, just provides a bit of extra space when I have such a tiny tent. I agree, something innately peaceful on watching them just go about their lives. Will definitely be back there again!
@@jacobswalkies6876 You could never! I love Wales, it's a gorgeous country and I love riding through it. Would have hiked much more of it if I trusted my bike to be left alone long enough without being stolen in the kind of touristy areas.

@MotoHikes she took off on Insta but on here it's just 'Scottish Geologist' and you will find her. She has your passion.

@MotoHikes the walk around the Great Orme in Llandudno is nice. You see a lot of seals there too., and goats climbing the hill lol.
@@jacobswalkies6876That sounds fantastic. Thanks for the tip! Might just do that next time I’m able to.
@MotoHikes you're welcome. I could bore you to death about walks in Wales 🤪

New game: Take a shot every time I say this "This is interesting". You won't make it through the video.
