Does it never not rain? I feel like it rains in every video you post. Lol. Love the videos! I’m doing the same restoration on a 82. Looking forward to your lift kit video😜
Watched the entire series on this truck in 2 days and absolutely loved it! You and your wife/girlfriend are an amazing lovely and positive couple! Thank you so kuch for sharing this chapter of your lives and I hope to see more soon.. Now it's off to the internet and search for a project of my own! ❤️
I really enjoyed your series! I am doing a 1983 Ford F250 and your videos really inspired me. I don't have quite as much funding but, like yourselves, I can do a lot of the work myself. Also, like yourselves, I like doing the work (the rust in your eyes and mouth is less pleasant). It was also really nice to see both of you working together on a fun project. Best wishes!
Just wanted to say you both are Inspiring me to do something like this with my girl of 4 years. :) I'm a mechanic and always looking to learn more and this looks like an amazing way to create good memories and grow an awesome bond together. Awsome guys
Could you possibly let me know the specs. of your wheels and tires, (sizes and backspacing etc.) also what size wheel spacer. I love the look and stance of the truck with your new wheel/tire set up. I am currently restoring a 1984 F-250, you guys did an awesome job and glad to see you were able to accomplish everything yourselves and had a good time doing it.
I hope you guys are doing well, this series was a real comfort to me for the short time it took me to blast through it in the earlier covid days. I look forward to seeing any updates you have for us in the future!
Thanks! We have just been really busy but we have some more stuff. There is always more to fix on the truck. We are working on restoring the tailgate currently so keep an eye out for those videos.
The easiest way would probably be to cut out the section with the letters and splice it into a replacement 90s gate, but we will give the old one some love and see what happens.
Amazing, no issues to report and the cab is way quieter than before. Since it came from the factory without any insulation it made a huge difference. I would 100% recommend doing some to anyone who has the carpet out of their project.
@@TheBadTimingClub Thanks for the response... I've jst finished putting my truck back together and will start workjng on the interior.. You both are badasses! Lol Love the truck! Take care
That's what we wanted from the beginning. We got the old dodge rims at the junk yard to keep the cost down but when the one cracked it just made sense to look for somethng new that actually fits the style. Got a killer deal on ebay for them too.
Lol my grandpa had a 83 ford f250 and it had a 302 and a 4speed whith grany gear and he always ran 37in tires on it and I can remember him stopping on the road and revving it up and he popped the clutch and it always bust them tires loos and when he hit second gear it would hop from the axle rap lol now I've got it and my great grandfather's truck it is a 2 wheel drive with a 460 and I'm going to put its motor and body on my grandpa's 4x4 frame and paint it the same as your truck because my great grandfather's truck is blue like yours and my grandpa's truck was white so I'm gonna 2 tone it like yours lol I'd love to see you bust your tires loos from the outside of your truck lol your truck is so beautiful
Thanks! Really cool story and so great that you can keep some family history on the road like that. A 460 must be a beast of an engine. We will have to post some more driving videos.
Hi I am 14 and I have always wanted to get my own truck since I'm getting older and going into high school I want to learn hands on how to fix a truck and I made a go fund me to try to get money 💰 if you could help me out I would so much more then grateful
Someone blessed me with a 83’ f150 for 5 dollars. I don’t know how it happened but it’s my first vehicles to drive. It was a complete stranger from Facebook market place. I want to do something similar to what you’ve done. I’m in Alaska and it got to 69 degrees today. I’ve been working on the truck and being outside yoday
Too bad yall are in NY- I have a spare tailgate that you guys can have but I'm not sure what the shipping would cost from Las Vegas... It's from an '85. As a matter of fact I have a complete body, doors, fenders, 8' bed, hood, grills (no cab)-straight- no rust! if anyone is interested.
Oh man! Wish we could take a little road trip out your way for some rust-free parts. Would probably end up with a whole trailer full of project cars though. I don't think our tailgate is going to be too hard to fix up though. Just rust on some flat parts that will be easy to shape.
Gonna start restoring my 1989 Ford F-250 XL after watching your series on this truck. Loved it!
Nice lookin' truck.
You know you married the right woman when she's just as excited about new wheels and tires as you are haha!
Good looking, cooks and restores a 30 yr old rig...perfect!
@@TheRoadhammer379 she prob doesn’t mount the pony well tho u kno
Nice!
LMC TRUCK WILL HAVE IT
They have just about everything but the right tailgate. I have been working on restoring ours so that will probably be the next truck video.

Leave the spacers
The rims make the truck for sure! Great pick!
Looking good guys... 👍
Maybe I'll see you around ...
Thanks, you can't miss it! Only one I have ever seen in NY in this color.
Thanks for the videos... it's fun watching the two of you work together. You make a great team :-)
She looks hella greatt!!
Wheels/tires look good. I'd probably lose the wheel spacers if the fronts clean on turns. Loving the videos!
Yeah we will try them without next. I think the tires might hit the leaf springs at full lock though. We had that problem with the old rims too.
You needed to measure and order the rims for offset and backspace, then no more spacers needed.
such a cool truck!!!!
Thanks!
The wheels look great poked, I’d say keep the spacers!

Truck looks awesome keep the wheels ❤
I can’t wait until I have an old ford truck of my own to wash 🧽
Get them while you can! Prices are starting to go up more on the old 70's and 80's trucks now.
The Bad Timing Club I am combing Craigslist all the time and stalking one in my neighbourhood.
That sounds not the way I intended.
@@DustlessMirror hahaha
We are always on the lookout for new projects too so I definitely understand. Good luck with your search!
@@TheBadTimingClub update: I just bought a 1984 F250 👍🏼 gang gang

That truck came out looking awesome. Way to go 💪 good 👍 job on the restoration.
Thanks!
What size of tire is that?
Hey I have the exact same truck and I wanted to know if there were any tips u had that could help me
what's the wheel and tire size ? I love the way they look and might just get them for my 86'!
Awesome! Can’t wait to see your tailgate rebuild process. Mine needs the same thing and I’d love to keep the original tailgate with the embossed logo.
The easiest way would probably be to cut out the section with the letters and splice it into a replacement 90s gate, but we will give the old one some love and see what happens.
How is the aluminum seal working out for you that you had used for the in cab flooring?

If you have rubbing issues with the springs, you will need to figure offset and backspace for the wheels. I love the truck, great job.
Do you have a lift kit on there
how much did it cost in total after restoration
I love the bullet holes on mine and I was wondering if y’all got em after following me on insta😂😂😂

The Bad Timing Club there bad to the bone looking wheels they just fit the look
Spacer delete.
Is it a delete if it's an aftermarket part though?
The Bad Timing Club haha yes because they are on there and don’t need to be, therefore the “spacer delete kit”shall be installed. 🤔
They look good..... leave the spacers!
A little worried about clearance at full lock but we will try both. I like the poke

Curious where y’all got the chrome trim for this? Looks great!
I’d remove the spacers. They’ll eat the sheet metal sticking out like that
Good point. I think they will still poke a little without spacers though. Maybe we just need more lift...
The Bad Timing Club Dana 60 swap while you’re at it

Wow that's a pretty good buy! Great story though! It actually was snowing here yesterday. Maybe we should head up to Alaska for some warmer weather.
What happened to the tater tots intro. That was cool keep it 👍🏾
