reading one star medical themed romances

- I'm not saying these are the worst doctor patient romance novels, but I am saying that sometimes you need a good book burning to feel cleansed. Which did you hate the most?

Quarantined with the 10 Inch Soldier - Jamila Jasper
Dr. Grant - Catharina Maura

I'm Victoria, and I like books a lot. Sometimes, I even write ones of my own! I also have two cats who sometimes guest-star (yes, one of them is in a cone of shame, he's fine).

So many HIPAA violations.
Dr. Grant???? Excuse me? If this isn’t Jurassic Park fanfiction smut taking place in a sweaty trailer on a dig sight, I’m going to be pissed.
edit: pissed 😔
Honestly, such a missed opportunity with that title
Finally someone reviewing bad medical romances! I love medical romance and it’s so hard to find good ones that aren’t just using the medical setting for show and actually delves into the lives of the characters as doctors and how that affects them and their relationships and immerses you into the medical setting, I’ve come across some horrible ones. Just found this as I’m about to sleep but I’ll be coming back to finish tomorrow for sure.
There's so much cool stuff that you can do with a romance in such a high-pressure setting but these books... missed the mark a little bit 😭😭
girl i needed this 😭tysm
10-inchs cover is soo ridiculous, why does girl look like she is freezing cold 😂
It's chilly in that quarantine tent, man! 😭
What a coincidence, I just read a medical romance myself (a sapphic one) but mine was between doctors, as it SHOULD be lol
Also, can you perhaps get closer to the mic or up the volume while editing? It's very low and I have to crank up my volume almost to 100 to listen to the videos lol
Sapphic medical romances written by doctors are my favourite genre, The Fifth Surgeon by Faith Prize is brilliant and I’ve reread it SO many times
@@sapphicswilder I LITERALLY have this one on my TBR lol. I've heard good things about it. The one I read was called Major Surgery by Lola Keely. It was a nice read, they weren't doctors just because, it was actually nicely integrated, it kinda felt like peering into their life
@@stanloona000 I CAN CONFIRM ITS SO GOOD! if i’m not wrong the author is a doctor or was a doctor and quit? i have yet to read major surgery but i have it downloaded i will have to read it now that you’ve said that! i’m a huge medical drama fan, new amsterdam is my special interest and i write fanfiction for it, so sapphic medical romances are my thing
Aw, have a good quarantine! Don’t read The Yellow Wallpaper, it’s a little too close to home whenever a woman ends up in a home for too long.
Edit: I’m about to overshare. When I heard “little black dress”, every part of me knew the exact kind. I use one to send “vibes” to my hubby.
Safe to say, I wouldn’t wear it around my FRIENDS (male or female tbh, it’s a very private fit).
"Private fit" is the perfect term! While I support women wearing whatever they feel hot in, there are just some things in your wardrobe that you don't wear to platonically hang out in.
Ok maybe Granddad doesn’t have a good pool to choose from. If the first thing he tells a new hire is not to be unethical.. maybe Noah is the best option and he’s just ready to retire 😂
This seems plausible. He just wants to pick a successor and hit the bingo hall in his old age.
