I just bought a used white C7 M7 and I'm here because of (I think) a bad lifter. She's at the dealership...my service advisor said "you might as well put a cam in it." Now I see this video...decisions decisions....expensive decisions....

Have you edit the injection timing table? I have heard this can get rid of the gas smell and it improves low end power.

Questions. Shop just installed a cam in my corvette lt1 and it’s throwing out a fuel pump module code now and spitting out gas. Any clue on what sit can be?

Sounds heaps better Andrew. What are the cam specs. I have a 6 litre L98 AUTO SS COMMODORE. It's from Australia. Supposed be same as LS3 cam or a L76. It's has a 6l80e auto. Always awesome content. ILMAO everytime. Aussie Fan 💯🇦🇺🤣

The first time I've heard about cavitation in the fluid. Maybe condensation causes this.
Yeah the old tranny fluid retained moisture which grenades transmissions. The new HV oil is the fix.

Donkey Dick cams sound great at idle and are great at the track when constantly at WOT but on the street a mid rpm range cam feels so much more aggressive. (In my experience.)
Next video I'll put it in. I couldn't believe I forgot to do it in this one. But the next video will mostly close out the series and the dyno graph looks insane compared to stock.

Was that with the stock throttle body or did you put the 103 on it to test the difference
Stock throttle body. The afe intake doesn't work well with a 103 and msd intake manifold. But don't worry, we have more testing lol

Don't sell Vetty White, give her away to a good home. I would definitely take care of her. She would be a great fit for the frozen tundra, nice warm garage in the winter and driven all summer long.
Andrew or anyone in the comments. How would the C7 be if it had the 10 speed auto? Better or worse? Just curious
If it fit, it would have been a much better vehicle. However, the C8's 8 speed DCT is even more fun than the A10.
My A8 is perfect when you get on it but with the paddles is lags. When I track it I keep it in auto and rev to 22k with all the nannies off. Very little spin and get off the line well. I wish I didn't have to drive through that water though.
Everything is better with a 10 speed
@@Sizzer_Me_Xerxes I agree. My CSP built 2018 ZL1 6MT is the best car I have ever owned. A neighbor bought a 2020 w/10 speed. It feels "exotic like" almost dual clutch like. My 2023 when I buy it will be a 10/speed. Thanks for replying.
@@boomtownJ agreed, ever driven a single cab short bed f150 with the 10 speed? They’re ridiculous for a freaking work truck. Love that transmission!
