I don't know if you read the comments. But I really wanna say, there is something about you that commands attention. I first saw you on 24. The 8th season was my favorite of 24. I just watched again the 8th season of 24 again. Danna was a great character and the way you brought it to life was just amazing, so much so that I was like who is this actor playing her? I have seen that season twice now, just to understand why I like it so much. A big part of the season was Danna, her personality dynamics across different areas. I think that character was very well crafted by the writers and you. Anyway I'm a new fan. I can't wait to see you on the Mandalorian.
The Long Walk is an EXCELLENT novella. It was written when King was writing as Richard Bachman (some very awkward novellas when looking at them through 2024 eyes). They're making it as a movie with the director of I Am Legend, Constantine, and the Hunger Games movies (except the first one). I think it starts shooting this month.
Mike’s mind and creativity is so phenomenal. I will die on the hill that Haunting of Hill House is the best series created, as the story and cinematography is just SO good. Everything he is a part of is a masterpiece.
Really great interview. Regarding Netflix marketing shows based on an algorithm, do you ever see a show literally being made differently for different people based on an algorithm? For example, different plot lines being served up - nothing radically different due to logistics, but just small stuff here and there. Seems it would be really easy for Netflix to identify 3 buckets of user types based on their watch history and demographics so you can tweak little things in the episodes to those users. Would the industry react to that like "oh god, we can't do that, are you out of your mind?"

While I do miss the sight of you on a routine basis, the sound of your voice and your lovely personality make for a most pleasant meal. Adolescent girls also adore Stephen King, there is a whole generation of kids who grew up reading Stephen King and he was honest with us. He is by no means just for adolescent boys.
You could tell Netflix didn't know how to promote Midnight Mass. The posters featuring the kids were just awful. I think it's one of the best limited series ever. How do you compete with that?
