This was a super helpful comparison and I love how in depth you went about the bass. I've been using my Evos for a while and they have been some of my favorite headphones to use with their bass. I was holding back on upgrading since people kept saying that the sound quality is worse and the bass is weaker, but it seems that those people just weren't setting things up correctly. Which one is just like a subboofer, it hits the bass hard with a bang. I mean, I'm not talking about vibrator-like vibration like in Evos. I had Evos, they were mostly like that. Can anc2 hit the bass with bang? So, can it hit the bass harder than normal Evos?
Yeah, ANC 2 is more like subwoofer. It can also hit the drum kick heavily but evo is more specialized at the drum kick, evo can be more agressive but can not go as deep.
Quick question of something I'm dying for a quick and simple answer for, from someone like yourself that owns all 3. Which one of these 3's haptic drivers can drop the lowest? I remember having the limited crusher 360 and they could actually play down quite confidentally into the low 20hz range but when I got the Evo I sent them back because they rolled off very hard below 30hz. If you have some spare time could you do a frequency response test on them all with the bass sliders turned up and tell me which one of these 3 vibrates down to about 20hz the hardest?
That's an easy one. The ANC 2, then the anc 1 with noise canceling off. But the anc 1 loses control quickly. Evo doesn't go anywhere near that territory.

Great video.. which would you suggest The crusher anc 2 or momentum 4 i am really confused and i want good bass and decent sound quality and i watch lot of anime,movies and listen to music. Which would you suggest?. Any help much appreciated

Can you kindly explain, lil bit about that. This question my decision cuz if anc 2 have that much base and equivalent to momentum 4 sound quality then why i pick momentum 4. Does it pack that clean punchy bass m4?
@@GSVSurgeon under specific conditions they can sound "close", not same. In general momentum is a much better sound and bass, not punchier but more dynamic and naturally deeper. Crusher was exciting only the first couple months after getting it, but I now went back to momentum cause it's better.
Please forgive my English, it is not my native language, just yesterday I purchased these headphones, their quality is super premium and they are beautiful but I have a question How do I make sure that when I turn the volume up to maximum the sound doesn't come out of the headphones like a music speaker?
Does anyone know why my crusher evos doesn't support Bluetooth AAC codec, I'm using LG V60 phone with Amazon music unlimited app, my phone only shows SBC on developer settings.
Just got the ANC 2s and tested them alongside my Evos. The ANC 2's bass does better with high bass/mid bass kicks, whereas they are noticeably weaker and less present on the Evos. The bass on the ANC 2 also has a smoother sound to it, where the Evo still has a slight haptic "twang" to its bass. The Evo focuses more on rumbling within 35-45hz, whereas the ANC 2 focuses more on delivering a full-bodied bass that kicks harder. The Evo has more rumble within 35-45hz, but the ANC 2 overall has more bass in proportion to its volume and has less of a dropoff below 35hz compared to the Evo. This is also without even using the custom EQ by the way.

@@chrisaburto95 If by better you mean overly sibilant treble then I would not consider that better. Detailed treble is good, but sibilant treble is definitely not. I have to use a 3rd party EQ for my Evos because out of the box they are too sibilant and the harmonics in the high mids and low treble are veiled, which makes instruments and vocals sound a little nasally and dare I say a little tinny at times because of the added sibilance.

I bought the Evo... I guess it was a bad investment. although the base is extraordinary.
Unless you need noise canceling the evo is not actually a bad investment for haptic bass.

ANC 2 is wide, evo is tight. Choice is yours.

the Evos can be much better if you don't mess around with the EQs for the ANC2
