It's more comfortable than xm5. Earpads is different from of the xm5, that's a good thing as they shouldn't all be the same. Noise canceling is good enough in most situations. I have bose qc ultra, I still wouldn't say that momentum 4's anc is shit. It's alot less but very effective.

If you like a weak yet energetic bass and don't mind a recessed trebble the edifier is perfect.

Yeah, ANC 2 is more like subwoofer. It can also hit the drum kick heavily but evo is more specialized at the drum kick, evo can be more agressive but can not go as deep.

Evo goes deeper, I have both

I never have connectivity issues with any of my headphones.

I'm going to buy these Momentum 4's tomorrow and I was worried for a sec that the pads weren't replaceable. Thank god, they're replaceable, no way am I paying $400 just for the earpads to tear eventually and me having to live with ugly sight xD.

Can you kindly explain, lil bit about that. This question my decision cuz if anc 2 have that much base and equivalent to momentum 4 sound quality then why i pick momentum 4. Does it pack that clean punchy bass m4?

@@GSVSurgeon under specific conditions they can sound "close", not same. In general momentum is a much better sound and bass, not punchier but more dynamic and naturally deeper. Crusher was exciting only the first couple months after getting it, but I now went back to momentum cause it's better.

I have the Crusher Evo , but I am very disappointed with this model. Poor sound quality, just loud noise and vibration.

If you're only lifting and basic exercises I don't see problem. If you're moving about and sweating, there is no reason to use headphones when there are good sounding comfortable earbuds you can use. Headphones will just cause alot of sweating. I had never damaged headphones by sweat the days I used them for sport, they'll only get dirty and uncomfortable to handle with sweat.

Unless you need noise canceling the evo is not actually a bad investment for haptic bass.

They are as good as brand new. No need for headband cover, just keep them in the case/on table when they're not in use and when travelling. They will be fine.

It's neutral but on the bassy side of neutral. Anyhow you're right. I tested the airpod max and I now understand why some would say this is not neutral by default.

Crusher anc 2 is comparable to edifier. Xm4 and Momentum are in another league, though sometimes depending on the song and volume it can still come close to them. Versus the edifier, edifier sounds better for the midrange and laid back sound in customised mode. But yet again, edifier has no bass compared to any of these.

ANC2 is so specific that only you can love or hate; powerful, great sound, decent ANC, etc… It very good yet you probably know its main unmatched feature… so it really depends on your personal taste as it is unique

When you say loud, is it like punchy bass or like whisper quiet I can’t hear loud? I’ve heard a lot saying the M4’s have better audio quality than the XM4’s but it’s not a huge difference but it’s there apparently.

Yes no question about it M4 being my fav clearly needs to be at 90% volume to equal XM4 At 60… after trying so many headphones I decided to go with XM4 because of its tuning potential and volume/loudness availability. Of course at $100.00 cheaper too

I’m mad asf I just bought the Skullcandy anc 2 and the crusher evos are way better

ANC 2 is wide, evo is tight. Choice is yours.

Just got the ANC 2s and tested them alongside my Evos. The ANC 2's bass does better with high bass/mid bass kicks, whereas they are noticeably weaker and less present on the Evos. The bass on the ANC 2 also has a smoother sound to it, where the Evo still has a slight haptic "twang" to its bass. The Evo focuses more on rumbling within 35-45hz, whereas the ANC 2 focuses more on delivering a full-bodied bass that kicks harder. The Evo has more rumble within 35-45hz, but the ANC 2 overall has more bass in proportion to its volume and has less of a dropoff below 35hz compared to the Evo. This is also without even using the custom EQ by the way.

Hello the maximum volume I use on headphones is 60%. I find that all headphones are too loud at and beyond that threshold. I'm not conversant in this area.

They’re maybe 15% quieter than the XM’s. But don’t worry, you can still completely deafen yourself listening to these at max.

That's an easy one. The ANC 2, then the anc 1 with noise canceling off. But the anc 1 loses control quickly. Evo doesn't go anywhere near that territory.

The xm4 is very good headphone. If you want to save money you can buy xm4. If you not worried about money get the momentum 4. Whichever you get is good.

the Evos can be much better if you don't mess around with the EQs for the ANC2

@@chrisaburto95 If by better you mean overly sibilant treble then I would not consider that better. Detailed treble is good, but sibilant treble is definitely not. I have to use a 3rd party EQ for my Evos because out of the box they are too sibilant and the harmonics in the high mids and low treble are veiled, which makes instruments and vocals sound a little nasally and dare I say a little tinny at times because of the added sibilance.

With the newest firmware you will have ability to tweak the sound more, you no will not get that 30 second power on glitch when you switch it on while wearing it. (maybe this glitch was only related to the early units). The biggest improvement is that the headphone connects to the app very quickly now.

yes, but with the accentums the wind reduction does not make it much better, I also sent them back because of the wind noise 😅

With momentum the wind reduction works like a dream. It stays 🤫.

I chose the momentum 4 because it's good at everything and has the ability to be a superbass headphone also.

the xm5 has better ANC and mic but m4 has better sound quality and battery life .. choose what you prefer .. personally i prefer the sound quality and the comfort all other thing is not dealbreaker for me.

Xm 5 has a muddy sound. Xm4 is better than xm5

Headphones are never consistent in noisy environments, it depends on the setting, sometimes i have to speak louder sometimes I'm perfectly clear with noises around. It's in your best interest to switch to your phone. High pitch sounds partially remain.

Mo4 better. The biggest difference is in comfort and ANC, noticeable difference in sound quality but the xb900 doesn't sound bad at all. The biggest draw backs of xb900 is lack of ANC and comfort.

M4 or xb900? None of them is supposed to make horrible noise, at least at normal volumes (20 to 65%). So maybe you're getting that horrible noise because you put very loud volume

Did you get them wet? I was oh no two months ago it's because i was in a hurry and got them wet usually the outside of the headphone probably because it has touch inputs. It worked normally day later. If it's the battery probably the battery faulty
