    Thank you for the video! I learned how to do it! Looks much better than my old 'paint the whole thing ' in flat black.

    Very informative. I retired after 45 years of poles and wires working for my neighbouring power company. I used to build model race cars 35 years ago but children and work and school got in the way. Now I have the time, my career behind me, my B.S. In Electrical Engineering and my MBA accomplished so I'm finally back to modelling .....Yeah!!!!!!!. So videos like this are very valuable to me since things have changed so much when I last was modelling. You are very down to earth.....Th and you!!!!!!

    That's actually pretty clever but simple, but you could use like a small piece of rubber to make it look more real like I do.
    I've used rubber o rings, pieces of actual belts and things like that, but this was still helpful for when I run out if the materials I use I know that I could use masking tape n it would plus will also look good and authentic to.

    I am doing this next build for sure!! Thanks alot.

    Masking tape glue hardens and dissolves the paper in about a year. Then the engine is in the car and can't be fixed. Black vynl tape would probable last longer.

    Was the alternator bracket already part of the alternator or was an after market piece?

    • @SuperCooper41
      @SuperCooper41  8 лет назад

      +Samuel Vasquez On this model the bracket was attatched to the alternator. On others I will make the bracket. I haven't used after market brackets yet. It all depends on how the model comes in the box. Thanks for the questions and kind words!

    What gage wire did you use for the hinges on the doors and where did you get it?

    • @SuperCooper41
      @SuperCooper41  8 лет назад

      +Samuel Vasquez I am not sure of the gauge of the wire, but I will try to find out. I bought the wire from a local craft store and made sure it fit into the 3/32 tubing I use.
