This show was incredible. It was a unique concept on the zombie franchise and every character they showed all had a storyline. It was just so good and if it wasn't for budget cuts a season 3 would've happened. If only it was showed on BBC 1 or even ITV instead of BBC 3 it would've had more fans and would've carried on for another season

@@morganlv13 Plus trying to get all the right actors when they’ll have new projects. Some will be too busy, some just might not want to do it. Idk if you could get enough of the main cast you could pick it up maybe 5 years after the events of the last season, a reboot with new characters and hopefully some originals. The creator was talking about how he had ideas that the village was segregated into living and dead, so maybe that happened 5-10 years ago across the country and we jump in with a Berlin wall type scenario in Roarton. Unfortunately carrying on from the original series like nothing happened is totally impractical. But I agree that a reboot that just recreates this wouldn’t be good idea. We’re all too in love with the original.
@orphanoforbit7588 I think if more ppl discovered it earlier on the show wouldnt have been dropped by the network and continued instead since it was sort of left off with a cliffhanger and the movie planned never happened because of budget reasons its a shame

NGL spent the entire day binge watching this series, totally worth it.... Not forgetting the subtexts in this series if you're not paying attention you may miss it.
I would love to see a reboot 5-10 years on from the events of season 2. How things have escalated to maybe a Berlin wall type scenario between the living in the dead (the creator wanted to do something similar with season 3) Hopefully some of the original cast could be in it, and they could bring in new characters to replace the lost ones. There’s a lot you could do with the show in a reboot that respects the earlier seasons.
The amount of cancelled half finished shows is incredible. How little they care for the viewers. It's all only about money. Netflix, Amazon Prime, they just cut them off in the middle to find a new cash cow. A fcuking disgrace.
Incredible TV Yes definitely worth watching. I do have a question though In the show they show that the medicated zombie people do not eat or drink food. I'm trying to figure out how that body has the ability to continue to find energy. The only way that living beings are able to continue to exist is that we constantly have to take in calories. I can't understand the science behind it I am very curious. The show is very well done definitely you should watch it.
They're technically dead, so their bodies don't need fuel as they don't breathe, have a working circulatory system or digest food. Not only that, their hair and nails also don't grow, and if they get injured, they can't heal. The reason they're still able to move around and such is most likely because their brain (& nervous system) is stimulated by the medication, which simulates normal brain function. That's what I've always figured, anyway!
Madte Yahoo it’s not an action horror like most zombie media. It’s a slow burn drama. I like it but that’s cuz I love zombies and I love seeing new takes. The entire thing is a metaphor for gay rights and conversion therapy so if you like things that get a bit deep and political you may enjoy it. There is a downside however. There are only 2 short seasons and it leaves you with questions. Season 3 got canceled before it even started shooting.

Season one short and wraps up most plots. It’s more season two the ends with questions. You could watch the first season and see how it goes
It's not really a cliffhanger. There's closure for the arcs but also a lot of unanswered questions about the larger things. So don't let put you off.
