Doesn’t matter. The city will be underwater in a couple of decades.
@@havoc1zero se pa sèlman Florid tout bagay atravè mond lan ap pase anba dlo!!!!
Miami has the 3rd largest skyline in the USA, after New York and Chicago.
Interesting fact!
The Waldorf-Astoria Tower as of late March 2022 has been issued drainage permits by the City of Miami and foundation work has commenced on Miami's first Supertall.
Excellent video man, I love how you explain a bit about the history behind each building. Would love to see a video regarding our city’s growing skyline.
I live in Miami. and is one of my favorite citys of USA!
After New York City Houston Orlando and Tampa!
ABSOLUTELY TRULY MIAMI IS BECOMING THE STAR TREK CITY OF THE FUTURE!
Great job ;)
Chicago Geographer what are your favorite top 5 city skylines in the world?
This is a very poggers video made, especially because I lived in Miami for 3 years
I live in Miami
Thanks
We shall see how these buildings do when a hurricane has a direct hit to Miami.
Miami's going to sink into the ocean from all these skyscrapers.
Do Austin Texas next
Society Fort Lauderdale is beautiful!
Really hate the stacked box look. It’s been done.
Miami
Just moved from Miami after 28 years. Not adding to the infrastructure so traffic is crazy. Grew up in Chicago area.
The infrastructure in Florida is better than alot of other states.
@@MrIronmaiden1971 😂😂😂😂oh yeah. No additional highways or trains. Clearly you haven’t lived there. Bridges are crumbling
@@MiamiSpartan1 I grew up in Miami thinking the highway systems were awful. Then I began working in the DC area and realized how blessed we were lol
EVEN MORE PROOF THAT MY NATIVE HOMETOWN OF MIAMI IS THE EVER ADVANCING AT WARP SPEED STAR TREK CITY OF THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hi im a big fan can u pls say hi to me
hi to me
@@ChicagoGeographer 😭😭😂
That’s funny because Miami will be under water very soon.
A sad truth
If Miami is going under so will all the major cities along the East Coast.
People like you that push the "Miami underwater thing" are so incredibly ignorant about everything it's mind-blowing. Sea levels are not exclusive to an area. If Miami goes underwater, so will all the coastal cities around the world. Miami would be the least of our worries. If you're gonna push fear mongering propaganda; at least do it with cities like New Orleans, Amsterdam, and others that are below sea level, and may be completely sunk by a sea level rise.
@@ChicagoGeographer It's bullshit actually.
@@ChicagoGeographer will Construction ever breakground on the Tribune East Tower in Chicago ???? Smh
That last one looks like crap.
The city of Miami doing its part to ensure that the ongoing homeless millionaire problem is taken care of.
I have mixed feelings about these buildings. In a way, they are showing power and are giving confidence to investors. They are also attracting people to move in. But on the other hand, they are just lacking culture or personality. I'm not comparing Miami with the horrific Dubai, but I believe money could be better invested. Florida is not lacking land, so why go vertically?
Traffic in Miami is terrible. The dense buildings help keep people out of cars and more walkable.
It's just supply and demand plus the fact that most Americans love skyscrapers
@Florin Simion Miami isn't like the rest of Florida. The metro has a Urban Development Boundary Line established in the 1970's and all development stops at roughly 25 Miles to the west of Biscayne Bay hence why Miami is one of the Densest cities in the US. There is no developable land left in Miami so the city has been going Vertical for over 2 decades now. In 1999 Miami had 6 Skyscrapers over 500+ Feet tall & It now has 55 with 7 more Under Construction !
@@xoxxobob61 well said, many people don't realize that the everglades set boundaries for the city
@@julioinfanteramos6535 Well that was also a choice by the County Commissioners back in the 1970's who set those boundaries. Otherwise if greedy developers had their way they would have Paved over the Everglades by now!
in my opinion that's going to be the ugliest building
