- Checking out a 2005 Pontiac GTO. This car is stock with a 6.0L and 6 speed manual transmission. Car came with 400 hp and 400ft pounds of torque. A great car for the Money I think. You can pick them up for 14k and the average cost is 8-9k with higher mileage.

I have always wanted a late model GTO, and I finally bought a 2006 GTO. These cars are very fun to drive and I always get a stare and inquiring comments at the gas station, because they are not common to see these days.
Bought mine with 86k miles on it. Really rare to find one with low miles that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg
My '05 red goat doesn't garner much attention until I park it or gas it up. I like it that way. Cops don't notice but car afficionados do.
would love to have one of these one day. getting harder and harder to find clean. got an 06 gxp though with 74k miles
My son has an 06 in Torrid Red. Looks like the one in your video. He has restored it and it's worth every penny. These are going up in value fast. My advice is to get one while you can! Prices are going to sky rocket and have already.
If Corvettes didn't exist I'd have one of these. Love these cars. This or a WS6 Firebird
I have the uk version, Vauxhall Monaro vxr 6.0 ltr, in red. I believe They only imported just under a thousand here from Australia. So quite a rare car here. And I love it, the positive attention it gets is great and I love driving it. I spent most the week thinking “why did I buy this “ then the odd day I do take it out im like yea I know why I got it 😆 awesome car
Awesome car brother. I got a 2004 and I just cant get rid of it. It's one of those cars that just sticks with you. I have a small channel with it and a few other things. No lie swear to god Jay leno autographed my speedometer
Bro clean your fuel door
I really enjoy mine. I just swapped most of the front suspension to polyurethane and I am eager to put it to the test when the snow clears up!
Yes it most certainly is worth buying one if it is in good Condition and low miles and you can afford it particular the 6.0 and proper dual exhaust 2005 or 2006 hey go for it even the 2004 5.7 can get rebuilt with improvements and that tailpipes that exit on one side only there are places that can correct that for sure
When I heard that Pontiac was remaking the gto(I guess this was late 90's maybe 2000) I was so fired up, I couldn't wait i told my wife when it comes out im buying one, then it came out..... and it looked like a dodge neon! I have never been so disappointed in a car in my life. A classic 60's muscle car reissued and it looks like a compact car I still haven't forgiven GM and I still haven't purchased a GM besides 1 used car.
People always get these cars twisted when making videos the 2004 GTO had the 5.7 LS1 and the 2005 2006 had the 6.0 LS2. Now the tail end of 2004 Pontiac/Holden made 800 and some say only 794 of these still born 40th Anniversary Edtion W40 package Color is Pulse Red, Red embroidery on the seats, and a grey gauge cluster. To check and see if you have one or found one unzip the bottom of seats and it will show it on the tag how do I know cause I own one.
I have a Chevy SS and have been thinking about getting a GTO as a daily to keep the miles off my SS.
Just purchased an 04 with 18,000 original miles. She’s Mint, So happy I bought it.
Got a 04 for 12k$ mint condition 98k miles I cant believe how clean the interior is
They’re a BLAST to drive, the 04s weren’t fast but omg soo much fun to drive. I want an 2006
I advise all to grab a paper towel at a gas station.. and soak up any water under the cap. Put a fresh dry towel there every time you check your oil.
In 2023.. I still haven't broken my gas cap tether.
I really enjoy mine. So fun to drive.
