What year f150 because on my performance 3/5 kit for my 2018 it has add a leaf springs and my truck stock has a 3 pack leaf spring, 2 clamped together and a single. Your truck only has 2 leaf springs so why the difference on yours. Stock springs are 3 or 4 springs not just 2 like what this truck is showing.
@@MrBoom50 I just purchased a truck like yours and I need to color match the chrome bumpers. It’s my understanding you can’t paint chrome properly. How did you proceed with your color match? I ordered this lowering kit so I’m super thankful for this video. I didn’t want to make a 2020 Belltech kit work. I wanted to do this correctly the first time. I do worry a bit about the rear struts being so close together though. I hope the truck doesn’t sway in corners! Please text me as I have a couple more questions please. I had to replace most of the hardware for the traction bar portion. The bolt that the bump stop bracket pivots on is too short and you have one of the pivot points sitting on threads. Had to move from a 3½" to a 4". The bolts that hold the front leaf pack clamping brackets together were too long so that before you get to 65 ft lbs torque and long after the brackets flex around the one and a half leaf springs, the inner lock nuts bottom out on the shoulders of the bolts so they just spin unable to reach torque spec.😑 Oh, and that leaf bolt lock clamp at 2:48 is installed wrong IAW the instructions...wtf.

we just installed a kit and i have the same question, mine is the same
adjust the compression and rebound on your shocks. It is lowered so it will be a stiffer ride no matter what kit you use.
Does it work with stock exhaust? I have a 2020 roush nitemare with stock exhaust and the roush axleback behind the right back tire

Do the brake lines need to be re run to be able to mount the shock relocation mounts

Are the coil over/shock brackets movable? Like can you slide them closer to the leafs or do they have to go there close to the center section?

@@gregorygardner1719 no chrome on the truck, but we prep chrome the same as everything else amd use a good acid etching primer.

set up for drag racing, minus the trac bars, it will do well cornering though because it is on coilovers
