I didn’t like the Maryland Color scheme at first, but it grows on you. The cool Maryland crest makes up for it, but they could look at a better color I suppose. Virginia used to be super lazy and just slap in a few decals, but have upped their game with a new scheme.
There's Litterally no way to make people happy. You do a big extravagant design & people complain it's wasting tax dollars, you go unmarked or Ghost graphics & people are mad its not standing out & claim entrapment, you do a minimal jov with simple graphics that get the job done, identify the agency, & have Red/White/Blue in them & people complain that its too plain.... smh. Also remember that the graphics have to be matched back up anytime the car is wrecked, scrapped, etc.. and it takes more time to remove with decommissioning the car for sale & cost more taxpayers $$$.

A lot of municipal cars since the 90s have gone way overboard with the clip art and Windows Desktop Wallpaper designs, rolling down the street looking like Floral Gardening advertisements rather than cop cars…

The Oklahoma state patrol cars are very intimidating and deceptive there are no lights on the turnpike state and federal highways so they hide on the side of the road and very hard to see them because they're all black by the time you see them in your speeding is too late
