This is rubbish, using an autobot for the commentary that cannot pronounce words properly and keeps lapsing from an English accent to the most ridiculous American southern accent to another ridiculous accent, this had the potential to be interesting but ruined

I was intrigued to hear the narrator's accent wander from a simulation of someone's idea of an upper class English accent and a broad US accent. I found it difficult to accept that the same person would be unable to deliver one accent for 32 minutes. Then I heard the English accent mispronouncing place names and tacking "England" on the end and I started to tend towards the narrator being american. Then I heard his ghastly mangling of the name of the famous jeweller Faberge and all doubt was dispelled...

The announcer has incorrectly pronounced the famous Russian jeweler's name. You are correct. It is Fab-ur-jay. It's irritating to listen to. Cheers!
I believe it's text to voice apps so it's computer read and not by a real person. You can buy this apps with many choices of voices as it's much cheaper than hiring voice talent.

When this compilation was put together, some of the 20 year old BBC appraisals needed to be updated to current prices. For example, the pocket watch owned by Queen Victoria's grandson was only valued at 1,500 pounds. Today it would be worth 3 or 4 times that (if not more).

A lot of mistakes in this compilation. Mispronouncing names, historical facts, etc. Why was Monet shown in the segment about Robert Henri? Is this an AI talking? Accents all over the place! Fab•ur•zhae is how you pronounce Faberge. Vigee-Lebrun not well known? Are you kidding? She was court painter to Marie Antoinette and one of the most celebrated artists in Europe at the time!

utter rubbish. We have wonderful jewellers.. thatchers.. that is a dying skill.. endless things.. last year I was driving down a country lane near my home and saw a group of men laying a hedge.. they had s sign up.. caution, artisan hedge layers in the road. I waived. my late uncle could dry stone wall and after rerierment farm farming was in big demand for that skill. What are you on about. My friend's son Learnt his cto. I hve seen both of their cabinet making and its truly truly breathtaking. Skills are out there.

I can save you a lot of time and effort. I will let you into a little known secret, there are already voice in the clips you are showing. Let us hear them and not some narrator saying what they are saying as a voice over.

I had to stop watching. We do not need a narrator at all. We need the sound and the expertise of the original experts. The presentation is just awful.
PLEASE learn the correct pronunciation of these names ... it is pathetic how the speaker butchers these well known names !!!!
