    • @tatskamaster
      @tatskamaster 8 лет назад +65

      ***** Well the idea of crossfit is to be functionally fit I guess and there is nothing wrong with that. In the events they are tested to do movements fast or how much reps they can do etc., but the judging is always off/unprofessional, resulting in people compromising form trying to get a better result.
      Basically crossfit is hated because crossfitters tend to have very bad form and even the coaches sometimes either teach bad form, or just don't correct it.
      Also they tend to test max sets and 1 rep maxes in a reckless manner. In the example she said of her first day of crossfit they had everyone do a max set squat, which is dangerous with bad form and definitely not something anyone should do when they just started working out!
      In my opinion crossfit isn't inherently bad, just make sure you are exercising with correct form.

      Jay 75g within two meals and using complex sources (so vegetables mainly) so yeah, it can be a big bowl of spinach.

      +ace8656 more like 0 miles, 75g of carbs spread across 2 meals is really not jack shit. That's the amount you should eat if you are being sedentary but still have muscle mass. The body burns a lot while doing nothing especially if you are an athlete.

    Cool stuff but I'm pretty sure most athletes in the lighter weight classes do double bodyweight in the C&J? If not more.

    Fasting is the best way to cut weight and get ready for a competition. You'll cut weight ridiculously fast and thus won't have to dehydrate yourself two days before the competition to drop the last few KG's of weight.

    Damn, 2 and 1/2 hours lifting? I've done two hour lifting sessions and 30-45 min sessions. I found that I get better and quicker results when I do the shorter length sessions. I guess everyone is different but damn. that's a big difference.

      Hahaha they are just lifting a weight. Pretty useless. Would rather having muscles that I use on a daily basis, instead of strength that I use for "fun". Such a mindless hobby, cant imagine it being that rewarding when compared to normal recreation. The one thing I have noticed about all weightlifters I have met is they all are not rocket scientists by any means.
