I can certainly see why I would sometimes feel like a Philly cheesestake but other times want a shawarma. A cheesestake looks stout. Good for an evening meal or an "on the way home from the night life"snack. A shawarma is more of a lunch thing. It's a bit lighter and the middle eastern spices are a bit fresher than "cheddar and meat galore". Will certainly visit Assad the next time I'm in CPH.
Heard about cheese steak sandwiches often enough to be interested, so I went to Philly's (Nørrebro). I'm somewhere between underwhelmed and disappointed. Very fun video to watch - especially when you were making the sandwiches, yum! Made my teeth water 😁 However, I do agree with Assad with the preference part. I think that because a shawarma/durum kebab is the standard fast food here along with McDonald's and pizzas, we'd probably miss the lettuce part. But it is interesting to see what Americans (or Philadelphians) would eat as a fast food/street food meal - which could also be a topic for another video! 😊

Hey guys - here is a suggestion to either or all (5) of you together. I dare you to take the "spiral-trip" in København. There are 3 Spirals to conquer. It's the beautiful/romantik one, the most historik one and the scary one. In increasing level of fearness: 1. the spiral stairs inside the palm house in Botanisk Have (1 up and 1 down) 2. Rundetårn (you can research which Danish King took the Tzar of Rusland in a coach to the top) 3. Go to "Vor Frelsers Kirke" on Christianshavn and take the 400 steps to the top (150 on the outside). I really hope you will accept the challenge, and would love to hear your reactions. Greetings Niels.
